Thanks for creating this video. My goals are to land brand deals once my channel grows larger so this is helpful! Congrats on your 10 year career in this platform!
Hi thanks for this video. I wanted to ask you, what’s the difference between paid media, print media and in store media? Should I charge differently for each one? And what about the difference between all of them but US and Global. Hope you can read and answer my comment
Happy it was helpful! Paid media typically is ads on digital/social, print is magazines, etc, and in store is like having your name and Likeness on a cardboard cutout in Ulta. DEFINITELY charge more for the latter. US and global usage just dictates where they can run the ads!
How would it work if the brand wants usage rights and it’s only for 30 days- after the 30 days, do they need to delete video or do they just ant post again after 30 days?
Hi! I have a question! Say you create a post for brand A with a royalty-free license for all branded media of that post. Now you also tag brand B because you tend to get a lot of questions from followers. Brand B slides into your dms and wants to purchase the rights to the content. Is it ok to do this?
Sure! So "paid media" is an overarching term that refers to any type of advertising that the brand wants to do with your content. "Whitelisting" is a TYPE of paid media where the brand amplifies/boosts the native post you make on your page to expose it to additional audiences. Does that help?
@@CreatorWizard Maybe you will give some examples you ask for some video by some type of channels. For example : " we did this video with this channel and ask this amount of money". I think that people want to see that kind of examples.
THANK YOU for creating this video because it just brings so much to light and you detailed everything so well! Much appreciated from one creator to another!
Assuming this is for IG, what's the base rate you charge there? In general that seems very low. Watch this video for how to calculate how much to charge for whitelisting: ruclips.net/video/s_2cSRv2uxo/видео.html
New sub here. I would like to ask how to we know how much to charge for usage rights? Also, if we've currently worked with a company for months with unlimited usage rights not knowing any better to charge more, how would you make the transition to charge more without losing that consistent brand?
Hey Mousy, thanks so much for subscribing...that means a lot! I hear you - that can definitely be challenging. Shoot me an email at justin@creatorwizard.com and I can help you strategize.
Amazing content. If the whitelistimg was part of the original agreement for a video content and that video went viral 7M views, what is the range I should charge if a brand wants to whiteliat my video? I know one can do a CPA-based fee, but what is the flat fee standard in the industry? BTW it's a huge brand. Can't say who, but think Sony or Mkcrosoft size.
Thank you so much for your videos... they've helped me so much! Truly! If you work with a brand on a paid sponsorship and then they want to whitelist your IG post... but they don't seem to want to pay. Some creators have told me to just do it for free. But I feel like I should get paid for whitelisting. A lot of creators I know just do it for free. I've got offers to white list before without payment and once I start talking money the brands usually say no or don't reply... am I wrong for wanting some sort of compensation 🤔
So glad my videos are helpful Gina!! And no you're not wrong at ALL for wanting to be compensated more for whitelisting because you absolutely SHOULD! TBH don't listen to any creators who tell you to do it for free LOL! I have a whole video dedicated to whitelisting and what you should charge for licensing on my channel so check that one out!
I’ve allowed whitelisting with 310 nutrition and it’s been so beneficial to me to grow my following. I believe you need over 500 followers on a Facebook page for certain platforms and 310 has exploded my growth their!

Should we charge for Organic usage rights?

This content is great! Absolutely a must watch channel for me
I appreciate that so much!! Let me know if you have any topics you'd like me to cover in the future 🙌

Exactly right - there will be language stating they don't have to delete the video, they just can't make any new posts or promote it after the Term.

Depends who owns the content. If you do, and granted license non exclusively to Brand A, then yep!
@@CreatorWizard thank you 😊
Love this! Thank you! 😀
Thank you so much for watching!

In general, 25% of base fee *per month* for whitelisting.
