Heyyy my lovelies, as mentioned in previous videos I am in love with Botanicals right now. I wanted to explore the Tropical theme with Parrots. In this video I am sharing with you how I made these Epoxy Resin Tropical trays using real leaves, stones,Foil and Parrot images from Google. but the WOW FACTOR comes in the shape of the Cling Film Technique.

You could dry your own leaves and flowers. The microwave flower press works wonderful to dry your own.
Hi Claire, amazing as ever! Ref the parrots, I use a laminater to put pictures in resin and find it works really well.
Heyyyy Nicky thank you so much .. I use a laminator also .. most of the time but I was worried about these being quite stiff I will definitely do it next time x
So very beautiful! The resin seepage on the bird feathers just looks like a naturally darker blue feather tip. Really lovely, and showing the problems along the way was very generous of you!❤️

Hey, you will probably never see this tip, BUT just in case? You can freeze dry your own greenery and flowers using your freezer, a biscuit baking tray, and some parchment/baking paper. The colors will not fade, and the plants will keep their shape better. It doesn't take long, either: 24/48 hrs, at most, for most plant items. 😊 Might save you a lot of money.
The colours are just amazing! This is also a great lesson in not giving up too easily, something everybody should learn.

BEAUTIFUL!!!! I seal my photos with mod podge also there is a inkjet printer resin photo paper no bleeding😊
My favorite saying has to be if you can't be a good example be a good example of what not to do lol
Those are amazing! I really love the parrots! The different levels look incredible! I think I might love these even more than the previous ones you did!
You don't have to seal photo paper. I use it all the time and looks great in resin! I just have a canon inkjet and the hp photo paper works great.

These are GORG!!! 😍😍😍. Your custom stamp is wonderful! If you add clear embossing powder to it, then heat it, it’ll get all shiny and lovely! The ink you’re using is a pigment ink that’s why it takes forever to dry!

Freaking gorgeous Claire and if you hadn't told/showed us the resin leakage on the parrots, I'd never have known, it just looks like a natural colour blend. I felt your pain with the polyurethane removal but you've learned a lesson and taught us one too. Thank you. 😘😘

I just use clear sticky backed plastic to seal my pictures/photos. I find it works. 😎
thanks Susan .. yeh that is great ... sellotape works too when it is done right. haaaaaa I usually laminate but thought they would be too thick for these x
Brilliant depth on these, like peering through the foliage! I wonder if pictures printed on a laser printer would have less of a bleed problem, as the toner is actually a plastic powder (which the printer irons onto the paper), rather than a liquid ink
Heyyyy Scian ... yes I have been told that Laser printed paper works straight in to resin no need to seal etc .. sadly I do not have a Laser Printer only an Inkjet x but one day ... x it is only my wish list :)

If you get modge podge then you can use it to seal any paper and use it in resin as long as it it fully covered 😄Hope this helps 😄
@sugargmum4517 that's a great tip. Thank you ... does the paper not curl up when it's coated in mod Podge??
