You got SO good, SO fast, it's INSANE! Really inspiring. I'm doing some of the tutorials you suggested on your 30-day journey to learn Blender, antd it's been awesome so far! Keep up the good work, man!
unbelievable. you know i remember when blender had a game engine, it was in there up to blender 1.9 if i remember correctly. used to rig the skeltan/kinematics to one controller and the camera to another.
I saw your learning blender and started to take up 3D modeling as well! I really like how you explain your process, so far it’s really fun and for real awesome work!
Fun video! It's very inspiring to see how fast you're improving your Blender skills! I'm gonna have to go through some of those tutorials you mentioned once I get through the ones I'm working through right now. Keep up the good work!
Greetings from St. Petersburg! I really like your work and I strive for the same result! It's very interesting to listen to your charismatic voice and watch the sculpting process~ I love it! Please keep up the good work!♥
You're journey is very inspirational! Thanks for sharing, Brandon! I'm ping-ponging (!?) for longer than I would like to admit between various tutorials on Blender, trying to find what I really want to concentrate on. I find all aspects and possibilities of this amazing program so fascinating that I simply couldn't decide what to spend my time most on. But I think that finally it "crystalized" in my head that character creation is what I'm leaning towards the most! Coupled with rigging and animation it will surely be a fun time spent! Thanks for sharing your journey, and I look forward to seeing your creations! P.S. Sorry, I think I used this space to explain things to myself :D Hope you don't mind
This progress is insane, I can't get past so much as a ref and a few poorly placed cubes, I'm too used to tinkercad! Doesn't help I'm also (poorly) learning Unity to make models for VRChat.
I like the style of Samus’s face here, it looks Better than in super smash bros to me. I think I like how it’s more stylized I guess. Something about zero suit Samus’s design was always off to me
You are improving so fast I love watching your progress. One note when you were doing the armour design you could have used a mask to draw and just extract it 😂🥹 but good good job.
@@BranSculpts The speed You learned Blender as a whole was crazy Ive been trying to learn blender for over 2 years at this point and I thoughtI wouldn't be good enough to improve and that I could never do it. Then i saw your Vid on learning blender in less than a month and i was inspired to reset all of my habits and start from scratch like how you've done. Im finished with my animal crossing frog and about to start my Link model. Thank you again for the inspiration and boost you've given me!
Damn, true... I mean you could use Google drive to upload the video then use a Url shortner to get something out of it since this is a lot of work! Great video
Yo thanks! I still feel a little new new at 3d to try doing commissions. Rn it takes me around 15-20 hours to finish a project over a 2 week period. My day job is really sucking up most of my time
This is a great resource for anyone who wants to learn about sculpting! Thanks for sharing your techniques and your journey learning Blender with the community! Do you recommend a site for reference images like the one you used here, or do you draw these yourself? *Edit: Must have missed it the first time, you do draw the references yourself. Very cool!
I wish I can do this I don't got a screen tablet to do this easier so that makes is harder for me and the ui is so bs to me. When I first tried Blender. This is why I quit trying Blender after doing it the first time and found it as very bad. :(
Usb tablet is fine and cheap. The ui was a bit too much for me the first week, but the more you stay in it, the more familiar you'll get. There's still so many options hidden behind awkward shortcut keys tho.
nICE pretty cool progress, remind me road i took last year, altough i started with this Zbrush and it was biggest waste of time in this process, Blender is much cooler this Zbrush UI and hardsurface thingis, yes thingis this software is so messed up that i will call this shenenigans there "thingis". Altough i made the work there and some pretty cool scupts took some courses, i think it was huge waste of time and this whole "better program couse profesional use blablabla" is just old dinosaurs prevent themselfes from extintct. If blender solve the issue of higher polys holding up this whole zbrush can be only disebovled by maxon and integreted into cinema than with solid ui we would have something to talk or choose oposite to blender.
Do you have any slower tutorials? I'm honestly in the percentage of people that learn or understand better when something is taught rather than just a rushed video narrating what you completed already. In other words I'm more interested in learning the actual process on how you did the whole thing and not that interested in the journey.
That is great but youre failing in one important thing... if youre learning only female body you will not be able to learn easily male without struggle to get back to female! If you learn both at the same time you dont mess up with your style lately
Man I love how you talk about your process, super helpful!
Haha thanks. I'm always afraid I'm coming off as too monotone and boring :p

Aw man, why'd they drop it?

huge metroid fan. that’s dope af

Saw the thumbnail and immediately thought of the end of Dread
I'm probably going to use your videos as part of my research for Uni because your 3D Stuff is amazing
While not 100% accurate, nobody is gonna deny that this looks crazy good! :D
3 months later and your absolutely incredible 💛🙌🏾 you're an inspiration
CRAZY CRAZY IMPROVEMENT.
you're a mad lad

I don't see how better you can get, your design looks amazing! 👌
Thanks!
Wow would love to see more 👌👌👌
Honest and down to earth, love your stuff dude
Your videos are inspirational for us newbies, keep it up bro!
Thanks, man!
You are too good! Thanks for sharing your process.
My pleasure 😊
That render is litttttt~
thanks, maaan!
An animated movie in this style would be killer..
Haha I 👍
You make it look so much easier than it actually is 😂😂😂
Great video
Wow this is super! I love it.
Thanks!
This is very nice

What tutorials do you suggest in order to improve? You're learning really quickly!
I put the links to the tutorials I use in the vid description 👍

You have some of the best character blockout's I've seen thus far. Please do a tutorial. To teach people how to do the blockout's you do.
I'm working on it 😉

Your right! I've seen timelapses where people extract geometry from their sculpts to make clothing. I just haven found out how to do that just yet 😋
Incredible video as always!! Super helpful stuff :)
This looks great.
SO COOL!!!!!
Truely incredible!
Thanks!

i love your work!!!!!!, thanks for the motivation
Yooo yw!
Hey where did you get the body refrence and is there a male one
Hi, I sketched it out in photoshop
I would pay to have a full uncut video of you sculpting
I have no idea where I would upload the files.

good shit as usual brandon
Haha thanks, man 😎
fantastic video! thx for sharing.
Wow I learned a lot thanks for the info
Yw!
hell yeah
Wow can we print this in 3D? Sheesh I would love that on my desktop.
Hi is there anyway we can get access to the whole realtime (not sped up) vod?
I'm not sure where I could host the files. It's 20+ hours and several gb
Great work! Absolutely worth the sub. Have you been thinking at all about taking commissions? I could happily see myself throwing some work your way.

Where did you learn your lighting techniques?
I need to learn everything on your course, where can I find the link?

I do draw my own references, but you can find loads of them on pinterest as well. You can search for "turnaround" or hell, even "basemesh" 😉
Do you mind sharing the 3D Model, I would love to practice some lighting on samus! Anywho, great job!
Sure thing. I'll try and get it up this weekend coming
@@BranSculpts Oh my! I greatly appreciate it!!

well you won me saying "bewty cheeeks"

I'd love to see it printed!
can I use the base rig mesh for my own stuff
Sure thing! Do whatever you want with it! 👍
@@BranSculpts thanks man!
Do you sell the models you make?
My models are pretty sloppy rn where I'm still learning. I wouldn't feel comfortable selling them. I plan on putting them up for free on gumroad tho
This model would be amazing for 3d printing. Let me know if you ever decide to put it up. Ill 100% get it.
could you make Sha, Gojyo of Saiyuki plz? i love him but he''s not a really well-known guy and i can't find much art of him
Thanks for the suggestion. I may Try and do a bust sculpt sometime
Awesome stuff, for some reason my last comment didn't show up
Thanks, man
Zero Suit Samus + her Suit = Samus Aran
Great sculpt but I feel like adding emotion to the face of Samus just makes it look not like Samus
Lol your right 😋 samus usually has such a deadpan stare

24? hmm sus
.....SLOW DOWN
This is quality work but I gotta say it looks far to masculine to be Samus.

people bother to sculpt in blender?! masochists 😁
Haha I've never tried zbrush, but it can't be that bad in comparison can it?
