I have a tig welder, and have built many trailers......I have trouble charging 200$ for a custom built trailer. If they can sell these, I will just quit.
I bought 2 and merged them into one and converting it to a mobile electronic entertainment system. Just need proper sized video screens and a stereo system for it but the rest is complete and assembled.
My one gripe is too bad the trailer doesn’t have suspension. That’s one thing that really sets its counterpart apart. The scale leaf suspension. Oh well. maybe in the future.

I gotta give you props for speed running a boat on a trailer. I think the boat ramp itself was not helping your efforts in backing up, as those ridges were pushing the trailer around on you.
Im thinking about a boat for thus summer i wanted to go away from traxxas but i got a good deal on a 3s charger so all i would need is batterys and all my trucks are traxxas anyway
Honestly to me this is the best boat on the market, I’ve got the original Spartan and have for a few years now and it’s awesome! With this having self righting now they’ve fixed the one small issue people could have with it, go get one I don’t think you’ll regret it! I’ve had mine on Lake Michigan with 1’ waves and it was awesome! The other great thing about it is Traxxas isn’t going discontinue it in two years like most boats are. That’s why I stick to traxxas in general, I don’t like getting new stuff all the time because I can’t find parts.
Great review as always! How adjustable are the mounts for the boats. Are they just two position or can they be raised and lowered to multiple positions to accommodate other boats such as the impulse or hydroplanes?

Well now I need a raptor r, a trailer and an m41. I’m not a fan of the self righting method they went with honestly, in my experience boats like that have a habit of handling funny after self righting because of the slight weight imbalance. Just my two cents, but I’ll still stick with the m41 or regular spartan
I would like a trailer, but a rc4wd trailer (3axle) costs more than 500€ which sounds rediculous to me so never even thought off buying one. If this stays in 200-250 range i might consider one. Still think its a lot off money, but when you would try to make one that looks really nice, well that's not easy too and would cost a lot off hours to make one. I use my cars and boats sometimes at same spot so the combo would make the picture perfect... Maybe age thing, still like stupid fast, but also more the scale looks...
Sorry it's nice but that price no way think u have skill build one and if they make a hook up like farm hitch or army were it's just a c hook that top pops up might work as long if it's big enough also u could make your own motorized jack it up hands free there's Inprovement u could do and still look good I even seen possibly of leaf spring it to have working suspension without much by making a adapter to mount to the hole already there and mount the leaf hangers of the plate or go coil and rod link setup but then u might have to do some cantilever to keep it low and compact u only need about inch max so just wanted through some ideas out for scale side and possibly thing change with major mods to it drilling and cutting up the original chassis keep up great work and have wonderful day.
I only have the SWV2. It sits on it pretty nicely. Just the V-support in the front doesn’t exactly match the hull. And maybe the M41 tape on hook could work to secure the front. Posted a photo in the Community section.

Well i need the boat and trailer! Traxxas makes great boats, and thats from a traxxas hater. Ok traxxas makes great trucks. Just not for me. There boats do rock though. Adding the winch is a nice idea, but you still have to hook the cable to pull it on the trailer. Im not a scale guy. Yes i want the trailer, and the new self righting boat. Got a Pro Boat Blackjack ill be racing with friends.

Marketing like most companies we deal with in life , Rc is a community that worked together traxxas alleviates themselves because there the biggest name in Rc not the fastest 🎉

Too much, you could pay someone local with a tig welder that money for a custom trailer with lights, leaf springs. And actual trailer axles (instead of bolting tires to the fenders).
Has to take few hours and 50$ in materials at least , 6 wheels lights metal . Still probably be raw needing finishing touches . Traxxas pretty much owns the hobby through force and tenure and we’re all other brands and enthusiast are separate
You get a Boat, you get a Boat , everybody gets a Boat, or a Trailer for the Boat . Be nice if all you reviewers had a Flea Market to unload all these promo's, you know I'd be cheaper than renting storage or adding addition to the house. JjJj

The parts & aftermarket support for Traxxas is fantastic. Not cheap, but good stuff. Not going to outrun an ARRMA, but will outlast one. 👍

You could probably get it to work with the Hauler pretty easily. Probably flip the trailer tongue upside down so it drops.
