Have subscribed Mr French, really love your style and the type of tales told. Reminds of of being a kid and reading the old Strange Tales & Tales from Beyond books 📚 late at night. Big thanks to you and the authors of the fantastic tales! ❤
Good sir, a while ago you said, "The next time we knock on Poe's chamber door we will revisit the Rue Morgue. Cheers. E.E.F.". How about a visit to said chamber door? I think a visit might soon be in order! As the other commenter said then, we are spoiled and would like the best possible version of all the Poe classics, including the three Dupin stories; and there is only one place that comes to mind if it is the best we want..
Loved this one! Creepy, atmospheric, and both the story and author are completely new to me. Saw it was originally published in Weird Tales, but any idea if this has been reprinted in any anthologies?
captainblake- I have now reached the point where I've narrated so many of these yell yarns that I forgot what this one was about. I was in my "ooga-booga" "Count Floyd" narrator period. (LOL) Anyway, I can't answer your question. I'd never heard of the author before- or since. Cheers. E.E.F.
The subject in the thumbnail should consider hiring a makeup artist before their next portrait sitting. I don't think _Glamour Shots_ is going to cut it.🤔

Odd and unsettling. Very well told as always.
That Anteater analogy is killer!
My favourite Narrator. My portal back to the heyday of Classic Radio. Simply sublime. Thank You.
Great tale, with great spooky ambience fitting your narrative skill.
Wow, what a great little story. Reminds me of something Junji Ito would write/draw. Thank you Mr French
Never stop!
Fantastic channel Mr French, you really do bring these tales to life 👏
Excited for this! Am bracing for a blown mind 🤯 💜
I love your narrating it makes me feel as if I'm a part of the story.
Nice pick, Me. French.

THANKS for reminding me, Arvid......Dupin comes to the channel next month. E.E.F.
@@FrenchEdward06 Thank you! I'm very much looking forward to that.
Could you read short stories of Arthur Machen?
The Great God Pan by Machen is here and I plan to record more by him in the future. Cheers. E.E.F.

Hey, I love Count Floyd! This story, creepy and effective as it is, is prime Weird Tales melodrama. The delivery just adds to the charm.
Very creepy.

Too late for that, Cathrine. THANKS for listening! E.E.F.
Been out with worse
