same with abra and teleport, just have 2 abra in your party, let one teleport then it auto switches into the other abra so you can just keep pressing a without having to do anything else
Alternatively, spam *other* Pokemon's agile and strong styles of non-damaging moves on Magikarp to double down on the return for sitting through so many splashes. I used mimes and sudowoodos and swapped for mimic.
Tip! For Dex entries that require a huge amount of moves with low pp (eg. Gyrados has to use hurricane 40 times, at 5 pp each) Instead of using up countless pp items or spending really long travel times to heal at a camp every time, catch multiple high level gyrados (in my experience the alphas in lake verity already know hurricane and this is the best way, because it learns this move at a really high level) and have 5 or 6 of them in your party at once. That way you can use up to 30-ish hurricanes in one go as opposed to 5!

Im not only going for perfect I'm also going for Stat 10 level 100 living dex on my way through doing the perfect dex im 53 pokemon in and some of it feels so repetitive it gets a little boring but the fun part is taking breaks and doing outbreaks along the way with thos same mon to attack the ones that need defeated by a certain type of attack wish me luck im feeling the grind lmao
THOSE IS SUPPOSED TO END WITH AN E!
Does a Pokémon’s alpha form count as its entry or do I have to find the regular form to register it?
50 h Spielzeit und bin erst im 2 Gebiet aber dafür bislang jedes pokemon entdeckt und perfekten dex bislang
I naturally figured out how to read the unown alphabet. And it didn't occur to me that other people don't know how to read it. And I forget that people need to translate that haha.
IT'S UNOWN, NOT UNKNOWN!
@Amelia4111 you are 100% right. Good catch.
I had to scroll entirely too far to find this...waiting for the game to download now
I thought you needed the unown dex completed to find arceus 😭 it took me no i joke like 3 hours to find all of them and decode the hints
I'm at 137/242 perfect research..... I currently regret ALL decisions made leading to that decisions 3 days ago🙃
What about your only starter like You can you catch your own starter?
Definitely gonna go for a perfect pokedex. Do the unown respawn after you catch them
Once you find them all I heard they start to spawn in the wild
No. However when you catch all 28, they will start spawning in Solaceon Ruins and are no longer shiny locked.
Im tryna get perfect pokedex, i just beat the game 2 days ago. I finished oshawott and dewott and almost finished samurott in like a bit more than 1hr
The last time I watched this guy was in yokai watch 2
Does anyone know if we need to catch and finish the dex entries for the save entry pokemon, Shaymin/Darkrai, to obtain the shiny charm?
You don't need their Dex for shiny charm since they're event Pokemon
So 242 Total Species of Pokemon in this game... but adding up each region ends up with a total of 437 😵💫
I'm working on 100% but I'm doing it as I play so I haven't even beaten the game yet and I started day one xD
So you only have to catch every pokemon for Arceus? And you don’t have to have completed research for every pokemon?
Yep this will take a mininum of 100 hours can't wait to do it lmao
