Correction: Tome of um 1 only has 10 teleports per day. People without the tome of um 2 can walk back and forth (no teleporting) OR PvM hub teleport & bank> ty of um teleport incantation > ferry > run to dark portal & repeat
There's also a ferry/gondola south of the main plaza by the bank in Um... I haven't timed runs to see what's faster, but I'm pretty certain it's faster than running to/from the smithy, and I think it's a bit faster than War's, too... Might time some runs later and check for sure (if nobody else does first and comments...lol)... Edit: Went ahead and timed them... It takes about 20 secs with 3 surges (surging from bank to ferry, from ferry towards portal, and to altar... I don't have dive/bd yet)... Not quite as fast as War's method (this took me ~15-16 seconds), but not too much slower, and is a bit faster than running to smithy (took almost 30 seconds surging up/down the stairs and to the altar)...

The repair pouch spell on the lunar spell book repairs your pouches but also increases the durability of the pouches to 400% as compared to 100% from the dark mage.
Realistically, what other monolith powers would you be running while runecrafting though? Pouch protector seems pretty straight forward and has done me well.
@@chrisfox8939 Some people are irons who don't want to spent the chrononotes for nothing. 400% lasts me like an hour so why swap off something then swap back on.
@Holo-jq1tp I find it easier personally and even on my iron, chronotes aren't exactly in short supply even after buying buff items and all the upgrades etc. I haven't even got the last tier of upgrades on my iron and have 156k chronotes and about 300 completed and incomplete artifacts sitting in my bank.
Tech I'm doing that no one else seems to be doing: once you're on the bridge you can dive across the river onto the stairs leading to the portal. This saves a couple seconds every single run. Just aim for the right side of the stairs so you don't target the bookcase inside the house.

Did you know.. If you store all of your Pure rune essence in the focus chest. Then, while you are in the bank, you can have the bags in your inventory and right click on the bags from while in the bank and it will force fill the impure essesnce, just make sure there is no pure essense in the bank.
The Repair Rune Pouch Lunar spell also boosts the durability of your rune pouches (except small and massive) to 400%. So will have to repair it much less often.
Don't forget, the (combined) catalyst, ring of whispers and necklace of shadows can be equipped to prevent pouch degradation! the "massive pouch" is the only one that matters as it requires Runespan tokens to buy another, however u can pay just coins to repair the rest.

1:50 Much more convenient I find to just use spellbook swap (mage cape or priff cadarn district) to go to lunars, cast reinforce pouch when one degrades, and it'll go up to like 1000% durability. I also noticed the abyssal familiars being tough to buy, but I had abyssal charms filtered on my charm imp. Toggle that filter off and relish in them since you're probably farming those abyssals for ashes right now anyway. (tome of um 2 auto banks!)

How do I change the left click option for the Tome when its in my bar? Cause when its in my bar the left click option is "Wear", and on the video it seems like its "Um Smithy".
also, using a runecrafting potion DRAMATICALLY increases the amount of runes you make per run, though they are expensive because of that at the moment.
Your dive path for the fast path is suboptimal. If you wait and save your dive to jump up and over the bridge, you'll save yourself a few extra squares of distance you don't have to cover. The point at which you use the dive is right as your character rounds the NE corner of the bridge while targeting the 3rd square up the stairs in the middle tile. I also think your banking is slower since you have to right click twice (see the wiki's guide on crafting blood runes for a better way). You should be able to get 4 trips per powerburst or 120 trips per hour. I was averaging 28 seconds per trip, but could get it as low as 25. Another trick if you're running slow is to use your powerburst before you enter the portal since the cd starts when it's drank, not when the buff's consumed if that makes sense.
They still haven't patched it but you can go thru the abyss to an alter then tp to um and do a reg run and youll get the abysal bonus with chances and thread
if my math is right, if you spend a bit more time meaning around 4 hours per max stack of impures you can buy at once and double them every trip you can make about 50,000+ in 4 hours and profit whatever the cost are at the time (currently 185m) then the cooldown is over to rebuy the max stack.
@@ProtoxxGamingby using the potion you mention it doubles the runes you make, one dose on a trip pays for the 4 dose potion already. I made a little less than 52k runes from the 25k essence. Side note, love your guides man. Been watching for a while now.
I thought with the massive pouch it degrades over time and needs to be repaired with runespan points? Or does the relic also stop that one from degrading also??
i hate runecrafting cuz the presets dont load the essence inside lol.. xp seems shit but damn money will be there for a while considering how expensive and unobtainable these runes are from other sources
If you were say an ironman and looking for strictly runes to either use or a main account to sell.. couldnt you just tele to war's retreat and use the crystal to refresh your powerburst timer, meaning that although your trips are longer, youd get double runes every time?
Hadn't considered protean essence. Might just do that for a bit of AFK since I have nothing better to use proteans on since the forinthry nerf just because I want that ethereal outfit.
You take BOB to fill up your ethereal outfit after filling your pouches, that's why you do it at the bank. There's no need to take bob at the altar and I do not say that ^^
I’ve commented this before, but it’s wild bay of this ever matters when I can just buy xp lamps from chest, get 99 in a day (about $240 bucks) and then just buy bonds (100 dollars gets me around a billion) sell bonds and just buy what ever with our needing to grind. I’ve played RuneScape for 15 years. After the loot chest came out I’ve never grind again. Hell I got 99 construction in 1 day and competed finished my fort the same day. I understand there are a lot that look into guides so they want ever need to spend money, but I don’t think jagex should of ever added a pay to play system anyway. It’s wild I just sold a bond and gave the 64 mil to a random dude for the hell of it. I even paid a dude 3 mil for a quest item that only cost 100k it was one of the mushrooms you get from the swampy ghost place, where you use the enchanted shears. The dude was confused. I just told him it didn’t matter when I have 15 more bonds to sell.

There is a newer item called Passing Bracelet which teleports you close to the dark portal. You have to complete Housing of Parliament to make them.
Did you know.. If you store all of your Pure rune essence in the focus chest. Then, while you are in the bank, you can have the bags in your inventory and right click on the bags from while in the bank and it will force fill the impure essesnce, just make sure there is no pure essense in the bank.

The Tome doesn't seem to send the ashes to the bank from Abyssal Savages via wilderness - am I missing something?

Made bone runes the second week of necro release and made around 85m/hr. Made a good amount of money.

10 days ago bone runes were 90m per hour, 10 days before that 150m per hour

do body small med take bob large giant you can fill them all up faster all you need to do is fill massive in bank
You forgot about using abyss for the xp boost
Don’t you make multiple spirit runes per ess depending on your necro lvl so profit might be different
Spirit you get most of on any trip however boosting through potions should also increase what you get from the others
