Yes I agree! They are giving hope and encouragement to women and men who want to do the same (whether they are virgins or not) . They are also encouraging others in their wait. When you follow Christ and his will (and ask for forgiveness when fall short at times and change) he will bless you with a godly person, if his will for you is to marry!

Not true. I stayed pure and got older and developed hypersexuality and sex addiction which leads me to a lot of sexual sin. Please don't even tell me to repent, obviously I have to and I do but its a mental illness and I get judged enough for it.

that all depends on how you were brought up. i came from family of 10 boys and 8 girls. i can assure you that all of my siblings including me were all virgins until we got married. that's just how we brought up.

Anyways, I am proud of your BOLDNESS in this interview! While it was nice to hear the cute stuff (how they met) I am glad you asked him about his/their decision to remain pure during their engagement. So helpful for singles to hear. Sometimes celebs start with that idea, but don't always finish there. But it is good to hear he/she are committed to that! And that he Is not ashamed of that decision. michelle smith; It's not that they stayed pure during their engagement, but that Tim has been celibate through and through; obedient to God's precepts. During his NFL career he dated a couple of notable women, but he's always sought to meet the right, like- minded Christian woman. God brought Tim and Demi-Leigh together.

Abstinence before marriage was, and still is, THEE ANSWER to a healthy mind...body...and Spirit!!!!!! That's why the dating world is so messed up now---most people are starting with sex, first---then, what have they got, when it goes bad? God has blessed me with a new man, and we're doing this too---how special it is, and I can't advise it enough!

what a ridiculous and personal question to ask about how someone practice celibacy. people today still believe in being a virgin until you get married. as far as how do you practice celibacy? well you can masturbate, watch porn, or whatever, just don't have sex that's all. that is common sense, it doesn't need to be asked.
My question. Was she a virgin when she met Tim.? If not no reason for the celibacy part before their marriage.
A person's sexual past is not really relevant, to expect someone to continue sexual behaviour because they've had sex before reeks of entitlement. I don't believe one can "become a virgin again," but if you feel that celibacy is a healthy choice for you regardless of sexual experience, than it's something anyone can pursue, for as long as they feel like. If your partner says that they will not have sex before marriage, you have two choices, continue the relationship with that knowledge and see where it goes or leave.

Brian Waller you clearly only read half of one sentence. I encourage celibacy for those who want it. If a person has lots of sexual partners and changes their behaviour, they should be commended for being self aware enough to understand their behaviour. My husband and I were not celibate before our relationship or during our relationship, he knows that I’ve had other partners and I know that he has. To answer your question, I don’t think I’d like it if my husband had 150 partners, but I’m a grown up and can make my own decisions and if I’m insecure of my partner’s sexual past, that is my complex, not theirs, and maybe I shouldn’t be with that person if I feel that way.
Abstinence is a choice. Even if a person was perhaps married before.
Why such a shock that a couple choose to keep themselves for marriage?
It used to be the norm.

If you survey the chaos from casual sex, it's truly devastating.
Celibate courtship is creative. Loving.
Romantic.
It's a healthy means to channel energy...focus on the process.
Take walks.
Hugs.
Laugh.
Cook together.
Observe happily married couples.
Interact in public as they do.
Nothing salacious about a married couple having picnic un a park.

I am celebate and believe that the first time will be with my husband. Have not found him yet. Great to see that those values are creeping back into society to be something to be proud of and not jumping into bed on the first date.
In a perfect world this mentality flies...i can maybe pass/believe a woman and staying celibate... a man/tim. a big NO. Its a cop out, a way to avoid accepting who he truly is which is GAY. i guess in the world of sports even nowadays its best to stay in yhe closet...sad and smh
I think it's great to obey God and remain celibate before marriage BUT when you dress provocatively it causes others to lust, which Christ said is sinful like commiting adultery. Us women need to treat modesty in the same respect as the other sins. God calls us to wear "appropriate attire". I pray she dresses more modest to not bring reproach on the name of Christ.
