By far my favorite place in Brazil. Great beaches/nature, great atmosphere and the city itself is pretty cool, let alone the fact that it's as safe as most US urban areas.
Such a chilled vibe in Floripa 🫶 we also felt super safe there and every local was so welcoming and friendly
@@MaxandJacqueline People from the Southern Cone are usually more reserved and don't have that "party all the time" vibe (which, at least for me, is better) but once they get to know you they're amazing people, love the chilled vibe too. For eg, I went to Salvador and didn't like it very much, it was so freaking weird seeing literally everyone yelling all the time and being inconvenient af, the pros in this case definitely don't make up for the cons.
@@quackgarage9551 It's funny the fact that you are a brazilian pretending to be a foreigner and attacking parts of your own country in order to favor the region you're from. Pathetic but funny.
Hello guys! You have really found another paradise in the world, such as the coasts of Brazil! We in Argentina do not have to travel very far (1700 km) to find those Brazilian paradises. What they showed about Paraty makes me think that they have already left for another destination, but I love knowing that they have enjoyed that country and those beaches! A big greeting from Buenos Aires!
Hey Nicky! Florianapolis was a paradise but yes we have already moved on, our vlogs are usually a little behind our actual travels so we have time to edit them 😊
Thanks for speaking so kindly of my country. I live near Arraial do Cabo and Buzios. Many Argentinians come here too. Nice people. It's good to receive you. I've been to Argentina twice, to Bs As and Patagonia. It's beautiful too. You can compensate the lack of tropical beaches with the stunning mountaineous landscapes. Sorry I didn't write in Spanish. My Spanish is a little rusty lately, because I have to speak English more often.
The animal is a small primate/monkey called Sagui (pronounced Sah-gwee)! They are really cute and mostly friendly, but you shouldn’t try and pet them as they can bite you if they feel threatened… About açaí: if you happen to visit the northern states in Brazil (such as Pará or the Amazon), you should definitely try it there, as it’s where it comes from and it tastes sooo different in there, as it’s much fresher (even the color is different, it’s a more vibrant red. It becomes more purple as ir oxidizes).
Thanks for the tips! Don’t pet the wildlife! Noted! Haha we loved açai so the fresh stuff must be incredible!
Thanks for the tip!
By the way, ayone travelling from Florianopolis to Sao Paulo, should make a stop in Curitiba, have a walk around town centre and a classic old train trip through the Mountains to a costal town, have some local food, its nice !
Thanks for the tips I wish we had done that!
If you have time and inclination, go to "Lagoinha do Leste" beach, the trail is long and takes about 3 hours to go, another 2 hours to return. If you enter through "Praia de Matadeiros" and exit along "Pantano Sul" beach, you found it very complicated You can go by boat that leaves at "praia pantano sul"
Thanks for the tips! We love hiking to a beach because we know it will be quiet then 🫶
Florianopolis looks great. It seems like you are enjoying being back near the beach again. Thanks for another great video 😊
It’s very beautiful and laid back and yes we always love being near the beach!
I was just in Ubatuba and the weather was perfect the entire time. Everyday at about 5pm the clouds would roll in from over the mountains and cool everyhing off. Night walks in Ubatuba were amazing. Brazil is soo underrated.
Come To Alagoas Maceió here is Awesome❤
Loveee this! I'm in Florianopolis now 🌴
Oh enjoy 😍 it’s such a magical little part of the world!
Amazing vídeo! Thid couple is wonderful, enjoy Brasil with its beautiful landscapes ❤
Thank you 🫶 🇧🇷
Hello, I stopped by to comment that I have been following your trip in Brazil, starting from Foz do Iguaçu and to inform you that that animal you found on the trail is indeed a monkey, whose species name is marmoset (sagui). If you Google the name SAGUI, you will certainly find images similar to what you saw. They are very common in the south of Brazil and here in Floripa. I hope you have a great stay in our country.
Hi Jose 🫶 thanks for following along our journey with us! Thank you! It was so cute and curious!
Hope you enjoy our upcoming Brazil vlogs 🧡
Yes, a lot of people have said that. Unfortunately, we did not have the best weather 🌦️ we will have to come back 😝
Florianópolis is kinda cold and very rainy. People call it "Chovianópolis" ( = Rainópolis)
Haha we would believe it! It rained so much while we were there!
We have to go there next time!
Hi guys. I'd love to see the uncensored version of this Vid. 😂❤
Haha 😅
Vocês tinham que conhecer Balneário Camboriú e Torres - RS
Florianopolis is a paradise on earth. But the summer weather here in south of Brazil goes only from late november to early march. The rest of the year normally is not "beachable" 😆 Next time you should go to Gramado and Balneario Camboriu. Look up on these two cities on internet, you will be impressed!
Thanks we will definitely look them up for our next trip 🧡
Enjoy Brazil and good trip!!
Thanks! 😃
Oi!
Next time we will get to see more!
Tropical weather!!!
The best weather! Hot and humid just like home 🇦🇺
Amei o vídeo
Thank you 🙏
Vem pra Ouro Preto Minas Gerais
We have to next time 🫶
Very good
Hello. I hope you enjoy Brazil. The little monkey is a sagui. ❤
Thanks Claudia! We have been loving Brazil and can’t wait to share our next vlogs too 🧡
Vocês precisam conhecer as praias do nordeste brasileiro.
Hopefully next time 🤞
Absolutely amazing . Hi guys visit k2 and Nangaparbat view point from one place.Whenever you start a short solo trip of 4-5 days, Moses Peak is a must. It is a 5300m height۔ from the top of moses pea which you can see the views of the K2 world second highest peak in the world, Nangaparbat, K6 k11 and K 12 views in one frame. best time from May to October. This is a family tracked.its open Zone, one did not need a trekking permit or have to pay Royalty fee to climbed this Mountain tower
That sounds awesome thanks for letting us know! We will add it to the itinerary for our next trip 🧡
@@MaxandJacqueline thank you
What about Búzios (RJ)? I think you guys would love to see this beach town. It's actually one of my favorites in Brazil.
Next time 🤞
That little monkey is a callithrix or "sagui" in portuguese.
They are considered an invading species in the south of Brazil ,they are native from the north/northeast.
Those little guys are crazy smart and curious.
They look so smart! They had such human-like faces
Florianopolis is a nice place to visit , nothing really "touristic"< but nice and relaxing !! "the water was so fresh..." Well, if its fresh for your, its REALLY COLD for us, brazilians !! You must go up north and will see the diference in the water temp.
Haha we have the same water temperature change from the South of Australia to the North so we understand! We loved that it wasn’t touristy too
@@MaxandJacqueline OF course you do you Aussie freshies !! Oh ye, depends where you live in Australia, the water temp would be the same, 'cause southern Brasil and southern Australia are in the same tropics or subtropics line of Capricorn.
that little monkey is a marmoset, a species of tamarin from Brazil. Research about golden lion tamarin :))
So cute 😍
It's fall. In the South like Florianópolis is really cold. Come in the Summer or go to Northeast only. Rio is better in November, cause summer is very crowded snd the heat is unbearable to many tourists.
The weather (when it wasn’t raining) was perfect in March when we were there 🫶
Those "things" you saw in the trees are natives to Brazil, Micos or Macaco Prego, MICO MELANURUS, used to be domesticated years ago, not allowed anymore, very friendly ! A friend of mine had one, used to go on his shoulders everywhere, play with people and get a snack from everyone !!
They’re very cute but probably best not to domesticate 😅
🇧🇷
❤️
You RUclipsrs are amazing, even I, who is originally from Brazil, didn't know this place existed, how do you guys from other countries discover this!
Haha 😅 a lot of research and a little bit of luck 🫶
Venham conhecer o Ceará Fortaleza Jericoacoara viçosa 😊
Next time 🤞
9:49 That's a "Mico", or "Sagui", but scientifically called "Callithrix penicillata" (a species of primate from the family Callitrichidae), they are so cute : )
They are adorable! Such human-like faces!
To the uninitiated, the idea of a newd beach sounds wonderful. However, upon further inspection what you'll find is that the people you'd least like to see nekid, are in fact the one's most likely to be nekid. It's also worth noting that the cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean is not doing us men any favors with the ladies.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 so true!
If you were impressed by that, check the beaches where I live, near Arraial do Cabo. I have some videos on my channel. In Santa Catarina, in my opinion, the best beaches are in Governador Celso Ramos. In Florianópolis, the best beach is Campeche Island (not Campeche beach, the island).
Thanks for the tips! The beaches in Brazil have been stunning 😍 we love them!
@@MaxandJacqueline The Brazilian countryside is also beautiful and underrated. If you want to visit real hidden gems, check Catoá and Catoazinho waterfalls, places recently 'discovered'. Only about 1000 tourists have been there so far. Aurora do Tocantins in Serras Gerais is also a hidden gem.
Acredito que vocês morariam fácil em Florianópolis.
100%!!! We could move here and feel right at home… as soon as we learnt Portuguese 😅
But the real Açaí you will find only in the north of Brazil. Mainly in Pará state.
@@Kownter tsc tsc tsc.
Well it was delicious to us either way 😅
Não gostei saquela camuflagem na praia. Nela!😊
Like 794 👍🏿 I'm Brazilian, be careful, carry your backpack on the front of your body, have a good trip 🇧🇷
Thank you 🫶 and thanks for the tip we will be careful 😘
this english is better them USA 😂
We did 🤗
Brazil isn't paradise when it's so dangerous down there.
There may be some unsafe areas like in any country BUT Florianapolis was very safe!
Yes it Is, for weak people, Its better don't come here and describe How Brazil can be wonderfull country also
