Last year I believed in Christ and part of me believes I still do but I suffer with insanity and solipsism sometimes. My mind had failed and I’ve lost my sense of identity. I pray God would definitely save me
2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. Brother, God’s grace covers your weakness. When God saves us, He saves us for sure. He will change us to be more like Him. While we are still living, He will continue to sanctify us and change us daily. Godly sorrow for your sin is good, may you continue to hold fast to God firm to the end.
In adding to the above comment/encouragement: I’ve wondered often what I think the saved life is 'supposed to be.' That is to say I don't think all my thoughts of perfectly loving Jesus are correct. I’m coming to conclusion rather, after much Bible reading on the topic and various trials and tribulations that it is a persevering not of perfection but one essentially of failing forward. Or as I heard somewhere it's about right direction not perfection. Consider the following passage as buttressing this point: *”for the righteous falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked stumble in times of calamity.“* Proverbs 24:16 ESV Note the righteous man falls but his falling and or failing does not keep him down he gets back up, now compare that with the wicked. Don't give up family!
