Chiropractic manipulation cannot reduce the inflammation in the joints, nor can it reduce the immune attack. So it does not really help AS in a big way. Soft tissue release does help in AS but then it is done by a good physiotherapist as well. Chiropractice is not an established branch in India & many practice without proper formal education. Hence it is better avoided.

Do speak to him about the exact reason of wrist pain. If the wrist is swollen & the cause is AS, then biologics need to be continued. If there is some other reason, ask for specific treatment.

Sulphasalazine 4 saal ke sakte hai. Uske jyada side effects nahi hai. Rheumatologist ko dikhate rehna. Woh side effects ka dhyaan rakhenge.
