Hi, I am Graeme John Eddington. Following is my RUclips post of my Multi-speed transmission I have called: "Opposing Torque Dynamic Clutch" which is a type of Infinitely Variable Transmission (IVT) which I believe is ideal for your current applications. Please log on to my RUclips video: ruclips.net/video/SACDK89U7PM/видео.html
@@MentoredEngineer I have a napkin sketch. Each ratio has a separate equation. I did not finish calculating them all. I don't know what the gear spacing will be. With 5-100 tooth count range it was like 300:1 to 0.2:1 ratios. Ratios very close to 1:1 are possible. One is 1:1 locked straight through, 10 are reverse and 20 are forwards. I'd like to make a model to play with, there's probably no practical use except lathes
You might find this interesting. Technically this is 2 gear sets and one of those is basically dividing the input in to two ratios and then using those in an Ravigneaux planetary gear set. ruclips.net/video/QhIcVM9-F3I/видео.html
I theorized a 31 speed trans with two ring, two planet sets, and two sun gears. Lots of shafts, hubs, and couplers to get all the outputs
That sounds incredible! What were the range of gear ratios between the input and output? I'd love to see a picture of the concept if you have one.

Good job 🎉
Dose anyone make an industrial version of this?
Amazing content buddy!
Glad you liked it!
Nice and informative videos sir
May i know how many planetary gear sets in 4 speed automatic transmission?
I do not know specifically. I assume you want 4 + reverse. I think that it could be done with 4 sets.

Bike cogs are easier to service and fix
Much explaining with words but less animation. 😢
Cool. Most people like the animations, but they take a lot of time to develop. I'll do less in the future.
A masterclass in dreadful explanations!
How could I make this better?
Too much explanation and not enough illustration.
Thank you for the feedback
