So Tommyinnit is a very popular minecraft youtuber who does funny minecraft challenge videos, minecraft mod review videos with his pals Slimecicle and Philza, and vlog/irl content with Tubbo and Wilbur Soot. He gained a lot of popularity off the Dream SMP where he would play minecraft with Technoblade, Karl Jacobs, Quackity, Ranboo and many more.
In today's minecraft commentary video, we take a look at Tommy's comment section and I try and make you aware of some suspicious behavior occurring in it. Basically, be safe out there people. I gotta watch out for you :)

Tbh, I do know one of the guys that these bots put links too - Tommy Shorts (20k+ subs). He simply said he doesn’t know what’s happening and doesn’t know who linked these bots to his videos in the first place.
A lot of them go to Tommy’s ‘Am I Adopted Clip’ lmao
@@ConnorPugs That’s similar to what I told him. His account is in good standing right now but a bunch of bots are are leading to his #short videos which is kind of funny
@Keebe The Kirby plush Nah, he’s a completely different channel. He doesn’t have fake check marks and I’ve never seen him, personally, advertising his channel. The like to dislike ratio is clean and basically none of the comments are hateful. He is also very active on Discord and I don’t think he’s trying to hide anything

Yeah, I follow creators with barely 20k subs (by no means a small audience, but compared to Tommy it’s a big difference) and they get a lot of these bots as well. Seems more like a problem youtube needs to help dealing with since it affects so many
I’ve seen it everywhere. I can’t go anywhere without seeing it. It’s really annoying. On the bright side though, Connor has made a double upload. I am happy because of that.

In like 2013 I was a unsupervised child on the internet, I used to see these types of things in the comments all the time and actually believed in them. Thankfully I never went too far in leaking all my mom’s information for a $100 Amazon gift card, but me having no information on why I should be wary and no common sense, that is really scary. Im glad you are talking about this stuff for kids now because I would have needed this lol

When I was a kid I almost went on a DanTDM video and asked my mom "Can I comment my address so DanTDM can come to our house and say hi to us?" and she immediately went no and told me not to do that. Thank god I didn't.

Oh my god, I was waiting for someone to talk about terrible reply sections. About 40% of them are directed towards this one channel who makes Muslim music, 50% of them are popular channel impersonators, and the remaining 10% are actual people. What the hell, RUclips?
It's on every video Tommy makes on all 3 of his channels, Tom Simons, TommyInnit, and TommyOutit.

Its not only Tommyinnit. I have seen at least thousands of these on every video i watch every time i dive into the comments. I dont think its something exactly new either, but i do know that the numbers have clearly increased.

These are everywhere, and not only could it be dangerous, but it's so annoying when I just want to read some comment replies and all of them are bots or getting mad at bots

Honestly, RUclips just needs a better moderating system in general, I mean every platform always needs better moderation but RUclips barely has any moderation in the first place.
I remember when people would fake being PewDiePie or Mrbeast and raid their comments with links to fake giveaways that'd just lead to survey websites or viruses

i just love how every link ive pressed (at least 30) was either Tommyinnit crying to the song roadtrip (by dream) or its some other foreign channel in a foreign (not English) channel (or the fastest rick roll)

I'll see a comment that I love, see it has 2 replies, wonder what people have said about the comment, and click only to find that BOTH of the replies are links! It's so annoying and I hate it!

i keep getting these weird “….in” (censored, ofc) links when i post my animations, and always delete them. idk why they choose my videos and how they found my channel, being a very small animator.
There is only so many ways to spell door wrong i will not use up 2 of them in one day.
worst case your cookie get logged. what is a cookie? when you log into youtube and press remember me it saves a cookie so it remembers you. they take the cookie and can use it to access example your youtube account.

There needs to be something implemented where putting links in replies is prohibited too. This shit is getting ridiculous. They’ve even learned to use like bots too, it seems, as one of “TommyInnit✔️”s spam replies has 530 likes right now. It’s really fucking sad and annoying.

As a person who clicks on those random links for risk, They bring you to weird youtube video. Like Indian people talking. or some random calm music thing. I don't like this because when you click them. you just gave money to someone that you didn't even wanted to see.
one comment section link i got- i very cautiously clicked knowing it wasnt said youtuber, and my popup blocker was ready to warn me if i was gonna go into something dangerous- but when i clicked it was a lyric video and that comment section had a few people asking if anybody clicked a link and got there- so at least it was a safe link, but that has and will be the only time ive done it, and door

If I send a RUclips video link for more info in my comments it will get auto deleted EVEN THO IT IS NOT A PROMOTION OR SHITTY SCAMS.
But somehow their other scammer's comments WON'T GET DELETED. THE AUTO DELETE OF RUclips have so many problems that need to get some help.

Just don't click any links anyways even if it looks harmless. I have heard someone say it's possible to trick you with time stamps too so now I just do it manually.

Usually (in my experience at least), these are links to some small youtuber/child's videos, either as self-promotion or to get people to dislike the linked video.

6:55 You can blacklist emojis on you channel. You can also blacklist certain fonts. If YT were to do that, a lot of innocent channels would be taken down, and it'd be a violation of free speech. Sure, they can take down those fake checkmark emojis, but I doubt they'll do anything to any sort of present emoji. Just black list it on your channel.

This is happening to a lot of youtubers for example (this isnt a minecraft yt) a spanish youtuber called Auronplay on his other channel Auron gets the same thing but in a major scale

Can you talk about the ads for mr beast giveaways though. For like one week I kept getting these RUclips ads pretending to be mr beast and it would say to click a link to join a raffle. Like an actual played ad that plays before a video. It was really annoying.
