Ok so the question i have is when im picking the spool practice im not getting any counterotation from the pins, it to the point where i have takin all the tension off core and still nothing. Why do you think this is happening.
So frustrated with my E11, been trying for 12+ years to pick it, never set one pin. I jte to think how many hours, all different picks, Multipicks, Goso, homebrew, nothing changes the dead response. Everything springy, apart from maybe pin 1 occassionally disappearing beyond the keyway ceiling, but there’s zero give in the core, as with other Mul T lock interactive euros or ovals. I’ve picked an E14 and a C8, both held out for a long time, but one day, 5 binder, with successive clicks and core give, then clunk, deep falsey and tickle of one or two inner pins and open. Any ideas before i dissolve it in acid, would be welcome.😭😭😭😭🤷♂️😆♥️♥️♥️
Naly you don’t even need to know which you are on. The pick wire tip is shaped in such a way that it pushed both at the same time but can also reach inside the outer pin to get the inner when it’s time.
Unfortunately a good, solid kick is all it takes to open most residential doors. And if that doesn't work then a hammer will easily open most windows. Either way, common burglars don't pick locks.

Small movements of the pick with very precise placement. Essentially he centers the pick on the pin to hit the inner pin, rests it on the edge of the pin to hit the outer pin.
@@roysammons2445 You'll notice when he's doing the outer pins, he's not on the markings, but offset a bit. He's right on the markings when doing the inner pins.
It's essentially a spring loaded bit in the key that will engage a key pin that is especially high. This key pin won't engage a flat key at all, and you need the spring in the key so that the key can get past the warding. This helps with impressioning and key replication attacks (foil impressioning attacks are a low-tech and effective method of defeating many dimple locks), but just acts as another regular pin for picking. Look at this PDF on page 13 for way more detail. www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=www.lockpickingforensics.com/articles/mul_t_lock.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwj6y8H7suvlAhUSIqwKHWQXBhwQFjAEegQIAxAB&usg=AOvVaw1ZrvT0gYPz6D4Nc7dVVJiP&cshid=1573792991364
How does this tool move inner and outer pins separately? It looks like the tool is turned anticlockwise for the outer pins and clockwise for the inners, but if that's the case I'm very surprised it wasn't mentioned. In a similar line, since there's only one loose spring in the bible behind each pair of concentric driver pins, is there a second spring acting between each of the outer and inner driver pins to preload both inner and outer pins against the key?
Question for the LPL, is it safe to leave the key (rotated) in the lock on the inside of the frontdoor? (lock is a Litto/ASSA ABLOY, Euro profile cylinder type). this way it's not possible to insert a key from the outside (lock bumping). But would it also help against picking or raking? (key is on a keychain and therefore not possible to push out and slide back on a paper sheet under the door).
@@geolocksmithbk I thought so, I would love to see LPL give the MT5+ a shot. I think they are much harder than the Interactive, but I am curious to see how much harder for a hard core picker.
When you want a hard Pick, try locks used in European special Germany like the ikon cliq System. Also the default Locks here in Germany are Hard as hell and the Keyway is also small and hard shaped.
You lost a ball bearing from the lock? That is a very impressive lock. It was probably smaller than the balls that come in common ball bearings, so that was a very, very small ball bearing you lost. Ball bearings consist of several balls and two races. Often the balls are separated by means of a cage, although there are designs that don't need a cage. I suspect what you actually lost was a ball, similar to those that are often used in the construction of ball bearings.

The very interesting advice. Where'd you come by that?
Fun fact: In Israel these types of locks are almost exclusively used
How can you differate between inner and outer pin with this tool? Are there markings or is it just feeling?
Naly you don’t even need to know which you are on. The pick wire tip is shaped in such a way that it pushed both at the same time but can also reach inside the outer pin to get the inner when it’s time.
Thankfully the chances of the local thieves having one of those tools is minimal. Nice pick.
Unfortunately a good, solid kick is all it takes to open most residential doors. And if that doesn't work then a hammer will easily open most windows.
Either way, common burglars don't pick locks.
@@youdoitillwatch windows. Especially unlocked ones.
LPL: "...helps make the most of your existing packing skills."
Me: dear God, he'll be unstoppable
Couldn't tell how you transitioned/differentiated between picking inner and outer.
LTL. I do not know why I find your videos so captivating. Maybe I just enjoy learning stuff and you are really great at your tutorials. Your breakdowns. Your comedy. Please keep these videos coming I will watch every fucking video because I enjoy it no stupid intro no please subscribe hit the like button blah blah blah just Bare Bones content and it's good thank you
Pretty impressive lock.
I didn't understand how you made it manipulate outer and inner pins. Otherwise very impressive.
Small movements of the pick with very precise placement. Essentially he centers the pick on the pin to hit the inner pin, rests it on the edge of the pin to hit the outer pin.
Thordan: Thanks!
I had the exact same thought. There is only one marking for each of the pins so how to judge under and outer pins 🤔
@@packered thanks for explaining that.
@@roysammons2445 You'll notice when he's doing the outer pins, he's not on the markings, but offset a bit. He's right on the markings when doing the inner pins.
Did not see that pick tip until the end, was confused as to how it was getting those inner pins.
I'm still looking for a clear explanation of exactly how this "interactive" feature supposedly works.

LPL could narrate probably anything mechanical or technical related.
Question for the LPL,
is it safe to leave the key (rotated) in the lock on the inside of the frontdoor? (lock is a Litto/ASSA ABLOY, Euro profile cylinder type).
this way it's not possible to insert a key from the outside (lock bumping).
But would it also help against picking or raking?
(key is on a keychain and therefore not possible to push out and slide back on a paper sheet under the door).
What about the MT5+? Wouldn't that tool be in the way for the sliders? And the spring at the end?
arnipoldus this tool doesn’t work with MT5 +
@@geolocksmithbk I thought so, I would love to see LPL give the MT5+ a shot. I think they are much harder than the Interactive, but I am curious to see how much harder for a hard core picker.
When you want a hard Pick, try locks used in European special Germany like the ikon cliq System. Also the default Locks here in Germany are Hard as hell and the Keyway is also small and hard shaped.
Like this system we use it in our Labs for Saftyreasons secure.ikon.de/index.php?key=produktkatalog&lang=en&ID=165008&c=ikon&treeID=164892
