Bro foreal. I have been diamond for like 6 seasons in a row and I was thinking about quitting apex before this season had started. Those new voicelines were just enough to nudge me back to apex.
I literally do this so my randoms don't land on me.....they still land on me and loot my stuff right along with me no matter where I try to run to lmao its so aggravating
Doing this even when you're not jump master is lovely, I always feel so bad if I accidentally land right next to allies and usually let them take the majority of things (my aim isn't the best so I trust teammates more random or not)
@@WarmongerYT I ping as jumpmaster as well. though i don't really mind my mates taking my stuff because i'm bad at this game and they have a better shot at winning fights with those stuff LOL. I like to play the distraction fodder as rampart, by the way. I setup somewhere and started gunning at enemis, which hopefully give my mates opportunities to flank.
Tip #5 is part of why I main mirage, the decoy is super versatile and has only like a 15 second cooldown, holding a nade and sending it out makes it sprint like the “real” mirage, cancelling control over it while sliding makes it slide like 2x faster, its just mad easy to play him when you invest hours into his abilities. Not all the time do you need half a brain though, there are moments where thinking like a rock actually wins 1v3s
That last point is a good one especially. People will be silent all game but then after they die start yelling at the team mid gunfight. I don’t understand people that berate their teammates though. Like in my head I might be upset but I’m not gonna gain anything from yelling at the randoms. Half the time it’s probably some kid or somebody who just plays casually and doesn’t know better.
Pointless. To these randoms , you're no one and they give no crap anyways so you're just wasting energy. I do like Wraith mains - just quit. Whoever solo q's can't deny it is super annoying to crack 2 , go in just to realize your mates , fully healed stay behind and don't move a bit. Absolutely lack of any common sense but , that is the charm of solo q and rats i guess.
@@3ildcard yeah I’m actually glad they added the cracked voice lines this season. It helps somewhat. Solo q can just be a pain in general. But it can also be a source of massive popoff games though so idk
@@Kintaku I had a "massive popoff" game until i had to respawn teammate 1 twice , revive both 3 times each and basically led to losing damage/wasting time. Eventually ran out of ammo looted , looked up and some dude was just staring at me , no shooting. I instantly cracked him , he healed and jumped on me with his entire squad while my teammates , right next to me hid in a corner , the same lootbox and ended up undetected somehow. This game will forever be in my mind tbh - how is it humanly possible to be that scared all 3 are focused on me as a punching bag. They had everything one may need, purple armor and you two are afraid to even peek. 2 of them cracked. Just *Wow*. One of those rare games where you kill the first 2 squads and more and more keep coming and you just popoff and farm everything that moves.
Ikr, such as when I got on a team with two other Loba mains and I took her, keep in mind they didn't have their pointer on her to let me know that they wanted to play her. So therefore, we basically threw the whole game because we were too busy arguing at eachother. Usually i don't use a mic but that was unacceptable. More people need better online ethics.
I type in chat sometimes in arenas. Usually just a request to push when I get downs or to have my back. I am almost immediately met with pure toxicity such as you die first and run in or something along those lines. I just try to get some team work out of them while they legit sit back on our side of the map, legit just sitting there pre aiming or not even holding a angle or a good one at that. I down 1-2 players or down 1 and have the other two cracked and despite being in a 30sec long fight where they are even given the que that I cracked all of them they continue to sit there and even let them rez half the time. I am generally not toxic but how people can be so incompetent is beyond me and then they straight blame you despite it going to the final round while you have 5k dmg and they might have 500dmg. That is the same ranked arena experience as well despite whatever rank you are at. BR is even worst as in pubs I get guy's who usually go balls to the wall and take straight dumb fights, barely do any dmg before being downed, if they don't leave I finish the squad and red only for us to be third partied. Fourth, fifth and sixth partied. I very rarely get teammates that don't just leave the moment they are downed or are actually good at the game, or even smart at least. Yet... They get on their mic and try and back seat or spam ping. Let's not forget the guy that tries to do call outs saying a guy is very weak or one shot, you engage and they still had full health or still had shields. Apex is about the same toxic level as Cod and even worst because every player is convinced they are right and are arrogant.
I’ve done at least 5 of those things, my worst is the spamming of an enemy when I get knocked. I really need to stop it and just die quietly 😄. Great video 👌🏻👍🏻
Thankfully they made getting into Plat stupid easy this season. Just a kill or 2, then hide like a bitch until you're 5th or better and you're a guaranteed a boat load of placement points.
@@Cramblit hahaha it’s so funny seeing ego heads like you trying to downplay other’s achievements whenever you get the chance. Just congratulate the person instead of making it seem like what they’ve done is easy. Smh
@@keanunelson3032 Has nothing to do with ego, when I say I'm horrible at this game, which I am, and even I got to his level in ranked. EVERYONE is saying ranked is 5x easier this season. That's a fact.
Very true. but it is a bit of an german thing. In german "to gloat" is the same wording as breasts. So all the small kids are using it bc the think its funny
@@holycowbmxman i love this. My go-to quip spams are Octane’s “By the time you see me coming” followed by “Ohh that was incredible!!!” And the GOAT quip spam: Pathfinder’s “Get ready, I’m coming” a few times followed by “I feel good” and if there’s enough time, I’ll tack on “Did you have as much fun as me? Hello?” at the end.
@@maggiegeeee 🤣 there's similar thing for Bang, she says Come get some. If your quick obviously just spam "come, come, come, come" then add on some other line like, " Dropped, shocked and rocked " Or "First you loose your cool then you...Come" childish things 😂😂
The last point is actually really valuable... Tbh one guy that I used to play quite a bit with, that I stopped cold turkey when he did this, was literally yelling into his mic after he and our other teammate had been eliminated (while other teammate w mic stayed silent), starting with "they're in the doorway" "they're finishing her", to intelligible yelling and directions to which I first responded, "shh", "I've got this I just need to listen" then responded "i love you man but I can't hear anything", then finally "stop, I you're distracting me and I can't focus or hear anything" to which he responds "you don't have to focus you just have to listen to what I'm telling you to do" 🤡🤡🤡 bruh I killed 4 people in 3 minutes, almost got the team that wiped mine but couldn't focus... I jumpdrived right onto yelling teammates bin AND an enemy (also immediately realizing I should go to my other teammates box bc they died first), who I wiped the fucking floor with, jumpdrived away to heal and then got beamed (: seriously, the over pinging, the lack of proper usage of mic+calls, especially the trash talking really affect gameplay. Wish people could be more positive towards other people and confident in them ): Thank you for this content though, this video made me reflect on so many different scenarios I've been in (:
I don't think I've experienced this yet (which is fortunate for me), but you have no idea how crucial it is for a player who is dead to please shut up and let them focus. Like he said, even if you want to send out something that can help them because you're a competitive player yourself and you want to Win, never try to overwhelm them by saying all sorts of things to help them when they are trying to focus. Whether they win or lose, just let them focus. I do have a friend who does that in a Semi way because he is competitive and tends to take the lead at times, sometimes he hand holds or backseat talk when he is dead and tries to tell them what to do, which is a No No.
I’ve had worse than this. My teammates were dead and I was in vc with them in a ranked game. It was me vs final squad, one was cracked, one was downed, and then one of my teammates just decided to start singing Riptide on this shitty mic that means you can’t hear anything else. I couldn’t tab out to mute them because I was in a gunfight and I also couldn’t hear the Valkyrie that had flanked me to shoot from behind because they were destroying my ears with Riptide by Vance Joy. They thought it was very funny despite the fact that I could very well have won that game had I known about the Valkyrie being there. Their reasoning for continuing to sing after I was audibly very pissed off and telling them to shut the fuck up was “I had to finish the song”. I was extremely annoyed because it made no sense and was stupid, serving both as a distraction and as a way of covering up enemy audio, it was horrible.
@@ninblearchive Aaayaya, lady. Now that is indeed stupid. What kind of Moron play some Music over a Ranked Match where you're supposed to play seriously there? This is why I have issues with Players treating Public Matches like Rank Matches and Rank Matches like Public Matches. Too many times have there been players on Ranked Matches where they are just playing around, while in Public Matches where they would play seriously because its a Battle Royale. Its a Problem believe it or not, and its why in vocal about to to some other Morons who tried doing that crap.
@@ninblearchive I had basically the exact same thing happen to me in a game of ranked, my two teammates died and I couldn’t really do much about it so I left them so I could get to one of the last circles which was at artillery and the pathfinder I had on my team kept playing that chicken audio trying to imply that I was too scared to fight anyone. Even when I was holding my ground basically 1v6’ing he just kept playing the audio and fk did it do my head in.
I just started playing 3 months ago and the biggest annoyance is when I get that random teammate who breaks away from the jumpmaster's ping. It leaves me in a predicament where I need to decide to follow that guy or the jumpmaster. But it won't matter cause 9 times out of 10, we just end up losing almost instantly. Going thru that bullsh*t made me realize how crucial teamwork is in this game.
One thing for Arenas specifically: if you open an extended supply bin, don't take all the heals for yourself, you leave no extra heals for your teammates and it's just a dick move
Yup, I either take the batteries, phoenix or medkit, but not all of it. Or, if the teammates are further away, I pick it and bring it to them. It's rare that you need all of it, but it can decide over survival for your buddy. Same in BR. If I happen to carry tons of heals and little ammo, I stick to it (unless I find more ammo) and share once we need it.. Reminds me of a match, we got caught outside the ring and had to leg it, and along the way I started dropping and pinging syringes for a mate that was further behind. All of us made it out.
I just grab everything and drop heals for my team behind cover with a ping. Boxes are usually out in the open and you don't want to spend a ton of time there.
I usually wait and leave at least a shield and medkit but the majority of the time they don't care and I end up taking it for myself I even ping it sometimes
Played a pub game with a random Gibby last night. He did the ol' classic "gets downed THEN starts sh!t talking". He was a Diamond player too and was commenting how I must have got carried or boosted (I am Diamond also, nearly Masters). LOL! I don't take any prisoners when people talk to me like that so we had some furious typing sessions for about 5 mins. I then proceeded (with our silent pred team mate) to wreck the lobby, with the Gibby too but the end stats (we won) gave the most satisfaction as I had 400 more damage and 3 more kills. The smugness on my face...! Justice was served!
Man I really wish everyone had to watch this video in training when they start playing the game cuz everything you mentioned in the video are things that are making me hate the game lately cuz in ranked especially I deal with all these low level team mates that play like it pubs and it’s ridiculous!!
People hot dropping and mindlessly going into fight in ranked is why i cant make myself play more so again i quit it on gold rank when I know i can go higher but it's literally not worth the malding
@@skeletoninyourbody9896 yeah I do the same tbh. I only ever advance past gold if I’m going in 3 stack, otherwise I just cannot be bothered with random teammates. Once you get to diamond or even plat, randos are fine, as they had to have common sense to get there, but in gold basically every random teammate you get is pretty terrible.
@@ninblearchive highest rank I ever got was plat 1 solo queuing and I almost got to diamond but I honestly thought I’d just get hard stuck d4 and be useless to most teammates
Second season playing and your videos have helped me improve a lot along with watching streams. Ended up diamond last season but was too late to grind any higher. Reached diamond already this season so hopefully I can keep climbing although solo queuing is ROUGH.
Solo q ranked for me is basically getting put on a team with a duo in group chat. They don't ping shit, they don't follow my pings, they die then I get to rat or join them back in the lobby and repeat. I hate it so much. I get better teammates who actually either use their mics or at least have the ability to hear my comms in pubs. I pretty much hate playing ranked without at least one teammate. And guess what, when I Q with someone, we go to game chat 🤨
I’ve sadly ran into some really rough toxic trash talking team mates a lot lately. I’ve actually started playing less because of it. I’m not bad at the game and it’s just super frustrating to have to hear. Great vid coach 👍.
i’ve noticed that most of the toxicity comes around gold 1 and thru platinum, it sucks but i understand that they are probably hard stuck in plat and it’s built up anger that they have towards themselves. i usually will call them out and report and move on with my day
3:42 it's kind of the same problem with singleplayer RPG that gave you an op weapon with limited usage Most people wait for the perfect time to use it and eventually don't use it anyway
after 900 hours on apex and at least 300 hours on solo queue ranked i can say half the players on low elo land like braindead people even in ranked matches.. why land between 5 squads when the probability of getting out alive is less than 20 percent. even if you manage to kill one or two squads you wont have enough resources to continue the fight onwards. great video though
Bro last tip is golden I remember both of my teammates got knocked since we respawned the bloodhound my teammate who was fuse got knocked when we was dipping from the storm so did the bloodhound since after respawn he didn’t get good loot so I had to 1v3 I knocked 2 out of 3 of them and died instead of my teammate saying nice job he said I was trash when he was the 1 knocked the whole game
I've kinda accepted the fact that there will be players that will not give a crap about these tips and your feelings. I've had people who always prioritizs a fight over survival and expect me to finish what they started and curse at you for not succeeding. But when I do get the teammates who are more serious about the game and trying to win, I always value and cherish the moments I get.
I'm a mix here, I don't play ranked too seriously but I wouldn't dare shit talk you for being safe win or lose, I'd even apologize and change my playstyle the best I can. I'm really aggressive early on and I usually benefit the most that way as long as one of my teammate are down to be aggressive. I'd rather you not stress it, get ya KP from a distance even if it's the kill. You know I don't consider myself good but, I can kind of see why people play with me now even when my aim is dog doo doo.
#8 5:23 firm disagree- especially since in the footage you show, you hip fire the mastiff. Remember that ADSing with any gun is going to slow your strafe speed. You need to gauge your situation accordingly, balancing the need for maneuverability vs accuracy. Take your engagement ranges into account before you ask yourself "Should I be ADSing right now."
I disagree with you, the mastiff is very situational and can require ADS tapping to use the gun to its full potential, but it's also subjective so if you personal do better without ADS then go for it. I don't always ADS, but most of the time I do hit a tap-fire.
Its sometimes tough to not say anything to randoms in ranked. Pubs idc about. My friend and I were playing ranked and we asked our random to portal us somewhere safe. He portaled us out in the open and we took so much damage that I had to waste the rest of my meds and batteries. He then decided to push the team on height alone and didn't do any damage whatsoever. I understand if they get knocked in team fights and just not playing well, but pushing a team by yourself makes me tilted because its not a skill thing to understand that in a 1v3 you will die most of the time.
Ikr I feel like some many people think there so good at the game and I'm like "yo wtf u can win a 1v3" then I'm yelled at because apparently it's my fault they died, like wtf dude.
I think that's kind of his point. Use your mic to tell the random they are being stupid before they get knocked. It is frustrating to have to baby sit randoms, but if you take control of the team and assert yourself as the leader by organising and keeping track of everyone your team will do much better.
I would add to this that you shouldn’t stay too long looting in one area and should try move around to get fights and more diverse loot. Even if you lose the fights, the more confident you are and the more fights you take, the better you’ll get. Staying in one place for ages just looting is super annoying to teammates who may want to move on and half the time the place is picked dry anyway and the only thing you might find is like a grey light mag for your 301 that you didn’t really need anyway. Moving to a different POI to loot would have gained you better loot and potentially a fight, which is what you want, especially in pubs.
I remember quite a few seasons ago on King's canyon, I had 2 randos, 1 was very much a newbie and the other If I remember right about your average player. The kid solo dropped into airbase ( the first drop spot from spawn ), landed, died, and called us trash. My other rando hopped on the mic, called him out on his bs and told him to shut up. That made my day that game
9:17 regarding #15 "trashtalk" I was jumpmaster in ranked trio. I picked a spot in the distance because I don't really want to hotdrop, I audio-ed my intentions too because i got my mic on (the other's don't). One guy (Bloodhound) pinged in agreement, but the other guy (Mirage) broke away before we even launch and headed somewhere else. Somewhere separated by a tall wall. So me and Bloodhound landed at my spot and started looting. In the distance, our Mirage is engaging alone, got knocked, and started pinging like crazy until he died. After he died, he started pinging his deathbox like crazy too. And when he realized we didn't seem to respond, he started sending these hateful text chats about how we're cowards that don't have his back. I said "This is a team game, buddy. I'm jumpmaster so I picked a spot, if you didn't like it you should've said something, but you didn't. You just went off on your own to a place we couldn't reach quickly." And then he got angrier, calling me a pussy, a noob, whatever. Then he quit the match even before Bloodhound and I were there long enough to engage anyone. Takes all kinds, right?
the further i get into this video just makes me realize show much i love you man lol. you’re a real one & i would love if this community & this world had more people like you
That number 11... I be saying that all the time.. People will take your gun, or ammo, from in front of you ... and ping a enemies are near 🤣 you have to loot somewhere else or be out there being Mike Tyson 🤣🤣 then get mad cause y'all died. Break off and get your own Loot 🤦♀️
Thank you for the deathbox explanation because I have teammates steal all my shit when we are right by a beacon. It is usually the only reason I rage quit. In a game like cool I had purple armor you left me with white and killed 2 people you got one and stole my whole box. Thank you 🥭
Oh yeah, that's probably the worst feeling when you get revived. There was this one time my teammates revived me and when I got back to my deathbox(which was like, right beside the beacon), they legit left me with a G7 scout with like,10 ammo left and white armor with a bunch of arc stars. Now I'm normally a very chill person when I play games, but when shit like this happens, I just legit snap sometimes and just rage quit, even though I'm playing rank lol.
@@coolerthanafrieza4726 I'd laugh so hard if you went down after stealing a gold back from a Lifeline. I respect that you'd trade at least like shit, I've had someone keep the gold when I had purple, proceed to go down. I laughed and they DC'd so I got my gold in the end.
I personally also do the rule of whoever got the kill gets the box so they get to look and grab what they want first before anybody else. I do that rule because my friend and I got into a game with a random and were fighting team after team with short break time but we just cleared the third team we fought, I went down and my friend clutches the whole things and takes out the last guy who had red shields, and while he went to revive me, the kid who did practically nothing, started looting everything especially the only red shield and my friend and I got pissed, if anyone deserved the red shield it was my friend who took the fucker down so we can survive, and all the kid do was run around, at the end of the game my friend and I were both at 7 kills and the kid was only at 2. I've also made a personal rule that if I can help it, I never play apex with kids, most of the time their annoying and rude and do not understand a thing and shouldn't be playing apex, but I've meant a couple chill kids who were pretty good, so I get stuck with a kid its not a big deal until they become annoying, so I counter this by almost never getting put in that position, I make a lot of friends in apex and then when I want to play I invite whos on.
The first one already is such a great tip. Not just talking but also pings. When I'm down and the last mate alive is midfight, I keep my deathbox pings to myself until they're done. It will only distract them. If they go down, we're out of the match anyway, and if they win, they have lots of time to pick us up.
I remember playing a game of pubs my teammates died leaving me in a 1v3 that I did not clutch due to my teammate complaining at me He said why tf are you taking my armor I said what tf you need it for your dead I literally armor swapped my cracked white to his purp mid fight after being cracked 😂
#15 is what kept me from really getting into this game for the longest time. At the time I only solo queued because I didn't have any friends who played Apex and all my randos were either better than me or too salty and at any mistake or miscalculation they'd go on about how shitty of a player I am and on and on with more colorful words. But now that I have two friends to play with we've all three been improving and enjoying the game more whether we win or die.
Yea people can be jerks on apex thats why i usually stay to myself and if a teammate makes a bad move i dont stress it to much cause i know i can make a mistake just as easy esp ially if its a new player
Would love you as a teammate lol you listed everything I have problems with as far as playing with randoms. You literally pulled the words out of my mind. Great vid man
The ones that really makes my blood boil are those teammates that does nothing but loot and never participate in gun fights. I've had, SO. MANY. matches in where me and another teammate 2v3 another team and most of the time we both get downed because we are outnumbered, only to find out that our 3rd teammate is still some where looting. I mean, I don't mind if you deal very little damage in a gun fight or in the whole entire match, but at least participate in it and watch our backs or make call outs rather than doing nothing but loot and end up dying immediately afterwards.
#3 stood out a lot to me. There other day I made it to the final two teams and one of our guys went down, and I tried to save them with Newcastle, only to leave our third on their own and cost the game. I’ll have to remember better the next time.
The "dibs" thing my random team mates never seem to grasp. They always take it, even when I've dibsed it. And always the first to die, and give it to the enemies. 🤦🏻♂️
I remember when I dibsed a purple light mag and my teammate ash took it and I asked her for it in chat and she didn't reply. Then later she pinged a gold helmet asking me if I wanted it and I just ignored her
Yo, that last one is so real! Especially in Arenas. I've had people say I suck, quit the match, then we end up winning because we don't actually suck. Just cause we didn't go with you on your terrible, non-communicated push, doesn't mean we suck bro
whenever another teammate gets to a care package before you, and then pings... you just know it's a scout. it's like one of the least popular weapons, even though it's in the care package. every so often you'll see a red death box laying somewhere and wonder "why would someone leave something that high tier in that there death box?" then you look inside, and are like "dammit! it's a scout" then you leave it for the next poor plonker to get fooled by.
He said don’t hop on the mic after your already dead. All I wanna know is who did you hit and how much did you hit them for. Not that I suck because I didn’t die with you!! That about sums up my night yesterday. PREACH BROTHER!! Say it louder for the PEOPLE in the BACK!!
i always land at the edge or at an uncontested part of a hotdrop. it makes me so mad and looses me fights all the time when, especially at the caustic center, me and my teamate are landing at the back, but our third teamate lands at the front with the entire enemy team. they get downed and thirsted and because of that we almost always loose the fight
Number 15 is something I wish people would practice more in other games I played over the past (CS, DbD, LoL). Some game communities are so toxic that you just always need to defend yourself/mute them in order to be at peace. Great video though!
Ranked solo queue has been extra toxic this split. I had a duo the other day (same clan tag) not pick me up while I was knocked until they had grabbed their buddy’s banner and full res’d them, I’m assuming so they both got loot priority. I of course got rolled immediately upon being picked up by a third party and they hopped in a trident and sped off. First time I’ve seen anything THAT egregiously selfish. Great video as always, Mango!
The hardest part is trying to find a teammate in ranked that actually has a mic, most people are too cheap to buy a $3 headset with a mic, or they have a trash one that has so much static you can’t make out a word they say, not to mention get a teammate that will actually stay with you rather that run up against a enemy team fighting by themselves and try to pull a super man move , yet dies instantly
As a mirage main, I never have to be conservative with abilities, I get everything back so fast lol. But also as a mirage main, I have a feeling ranked squads don’t appreciate to see me, especially once you get up in the higher ranks
Last part is so true was playing ranked and got cussed out because I was shield swapping before reviving my teammates AFTER I killed 2 people. When I retaliated they started threatening to doxx me so annoying.
The panicked 2v3 like you said is so bad. I see that one ALL the time and I just calmly say "WAIT FOR ME AND WE PUSH THEM TOGETHER" And they NEVER listen. And this is while our third is ALREADY finished and is ALREADY a deathbox.... like.... why does our entire team have to die as fast as possible because ONE guy is dead and finished 😂 it's so dumb.
When I meet a Kraber in a care package and no one on my team, including myself, want it, I usually take it, throw it somewhere no one would find it, or over the edge of the map, and then retrieve my gun. lol
Agreed to most, but i really disagree about how ranked should be played as ranked and pubs as pubs, some people have aggressive playstyles and they are successful doing it and should be respected for that. I personally find most ranked easier than pubs because people are so scared to go into a fight, its terrible actually, having so many teams in the end, someone has to clear these people out before we end up playing ALGS in the final ring.
"Not because you think I suck because I didn't die with you" I felt that in my sole. I'm not plat player but I can't tell you how many times this has happen with some random kids that get frustrated with the game and put out 300 dmg per game on avg lol.
5:14 if I ping something and my teammate dibs it, but they're more than 150 metres away, I'll pick it up and take it to them. 9 times out of 10 I'm pathfinder, so mobility isn't a problem and I can be there in like 10 seconds as opposed to them taking 35 seconds.
2:36. I had an experience when I died (got gangbanged bro), my teammates looted my box. The respawn was NEXT to my death box. They were still looting and took around 30 secs or more to respawn me. I was honestly speechless.
What I do on their box, I take any gold attachments, whilst also audibly saying "grabbing your mag, so not stolen" and give back as soon as they're Respawned. People are so thankful, because if I didn't take it, someone would.
This will help a lot of people. I try to do all of these in the daily, the only one I struggle with is the Kraber and Spitfire. I hardly ever use then to say I can bring them with me and be decent. Even the care pack weapons have their traits of skill
I find that it helps when my dead teamates talk to me, not being annoying, just talking to fill the silent void in the game sometimes. Keeps morale up I guess.
6:15 exacly what happened to my team i swear i left kraber red one in the drop box later when were 2 team left a guy one shooted us headshooted us actually two of us and won the game with the same kraber who was i left near the end circle ! P.S and yeah he headshooted us 1 bullet 2 headshots thru a window in the new map in the buildings on the beach and u can guess which champion was ? Yeah bloodhound
3:33 had a game our octane drove the trident off the map and I jumped off because I forgot. Level 30 bloodhound proceeds to spend 2 minutes getting loot from both of our death boxes. We are in circle and the beacon is 100m away
I got a team kill with 2 frags just last night. It was a strategic toss tho. I was presley certain 1 was down, 1 was rez, and 1 was either looting my teammates box or providing watch on the other two. It was very satisfying.
The amount of times a teammate has stolen all my loot when I was right by box after they rebooted me is insane, same thing with N.11 and 15,its crazy and the thing is it’s not only Apex
Man, if only the random teammates I get saw this... All those moments where in ranked I see them going hot zone alone, dying and blaming it on me and the other guy because we were looting
Depends on whats going on if you and a partner shoot a guy and they get the kill you earned some of that loot but if you left your team they got a kill but got knocked and you come and steal it then rez then yea your bad
My friends just yell at me when they’re knocked and/or have knocked someone and it confuses the heck out of me cause I can’t hear where they are which then leads me to get lost myself and confused, it’s even worse when they see my pov and keep saying there’s someone to my right in which I’ve said I’m aware about but am getting to a better position but they just talk over me but like idk what to say for them to stfu cause they never do haha
One thing I hate is when I die and my teammates loot my death box, knowing full well I’ll be able to get back to it. And their excuse is always “ I needed the ammo” or “you have better add ones than me”. If it was for the shield I had because you are actively in a fight I can understand that. But taking anything else is just annoying. Some people try playing apex solo, even if they’re in a team with other people. Apex is a team based battle royals game. Going solo is t always the best option.
I solo q, every season to diamond. When I reach diamond 4 all my teammates just hot drop, die off spawn and I'm forever not gaining rp. So I give up. If they have a mic they are not speaking English so I cannot communicate (not their or my own fault) so it's just pings. Solo q on xbox is tough man. Mentally exhausting lol.
Me and my buddy were duo queuing ranked, the random died, we weren’t able to get his banner in time, he got pissy and started using tts and spamming “llllllllllllllllllllllll” over and over again so we couldn’t hear anything in the final 4 squads. It pissed me off to no end, but it was pretty funny. Lol.
How many times have I dropped and my tm8 took my shit right from under my nose Especially when I land the middle at countdown to get that purple After they also land there it fucks up my mood and my game
(Now this Vid is a bit older, but I still wanted to mention this) One thing I learned which can help a lot, is, if you respawn a team-mate in mid-late game, it can be very good to drop them your alt-weapon, esp. if you have a good main. E.g. I might have a fully kitted 301 and a CAR; I might drop them the CAR, so on the next fight, they can be of big use. I'll just grab the next-best 99 or EVA, as backup. Me dropping a Mate my fully kitted 301 and sticking onto my CAR won me multiple games already. (Edit) This obviously assumes, that they can not grab their equipment and there's no enemy deadboxes around from which you can grab a weapon.
I used Bangalore smokes In a rank match where the enemy had the high ground ( Insert Obi-wan) and one of them had a kraber my instinct was to smoke the ledge from the angle I was giving my team a safe route to zone. That's what I have learned to use Bangalore smokes In certain situations
I hate people who smoke themself with Bangalore. The better play is to smoke between you and your opponent or smoke the opponent only. The only thing that smoking yourself does it make it harder for you to see anything. You did the right thing by using her smoke as a rotational tool
Just wanted to say thanks for all these vids I'm new to apex I've been playing for about a week and at 1st all seemed bit overwhelming but been watching your vids and making improvements
for #15, this one guy messaged me after the game being a complete jerk. I replied with a small 'thanks for the recommendation!' then i ended up teaming with him again. I was warming up so i wasn't doing ass good so we ended up dying again. He messaged me again and I gave him the most passive agressive message ever. Never heard from him again XD
this video need to be spread to every apex player i see so much of this all the time most of the time the Jumpmaster thing where teammates dont drop off
The first thing is so true. Too many times I’m playing with some friends, and this one friend GOES ON AND ON with callouts and “hide behind the shield” or this and that. I GET IT, STOP TALKING PLEASE. It drives me crazy.

The new voice line's for cracking shields and teams landing close has made solo queing alot less stressful

Bro foreal. I have been diamond for like 6 seasons in a row and I was thinking about quitting apex before this season had started. Those new voicelines were just enough to nudge me back to apex.
Agreed
I would add that jump master should always ping exactly precisely where they intend to drop.
I literally do this so my randoms don't land on me.....they still land on me and loot my stuff right along with me no matter where I try to run to lmao its so aggravating
I usually do that, either as jump master, or when I split
Doing this even when you're not jump master is lovely, I always feel so bad if I accidentally land right next to allies and usually let them take the majority of things (my aim isn't the best so I trust teammates more random or not)
@@WarmongerYT I ping as jumpmaster as well. though i don't really mind my mates taking my stuff because i'm bad at this game and they have a better shot at winning fights with those stuff LOL.
I like to play the distraction fodder as rampart, by the way. I setup somewhere and started gunning at enemis, which hopefully give my mates opportunities to flank.
No point since your team is just going to drop by themselves, get knocked, and then leave.
6:18 what a legend for letting the teammate have the kill
An APEX legend?
Ikrrr
Personally just like winning, no matter who gets the kill.
Been climbing through gold and almost Plat after just starting a few weeks ago. These videos have been helping a lot
Into Plat now!
Damn i'm getting back to apex this week since i was a ps4 player. Great too see such good progress. I like your pfp btw
Thankfully they made getting into Plat stupid easy this season. Just a kill or 2, then hide like a bitch until you're 5th or better and you're a guaranteed a boat load of placement points.

@@holycowbmxman i love this. My go-to quip spams are Octane’s “By the time you see me coming” followed by “Ohh that was incredible!!!”

@@HappyBeezerStudios i always go as fast as possible to the bin and take everthing only when i notice they want some i let them have :D
I'm just bringing them to you. ;)
I feel you man, i try not to get mad since i know they simply aren’t experienced but it’s annoying af

Great vid coach 👍.
i’ve noticed that most of the toxicity comes around gold 1 and thru platinum, it sucks but i understand that they are probably hard stuck in plat and it’s built up anger that they have towards themselves. i usually will call them out and report and move on with my day
Bro just mute those fools their screaming over a game and aren't even getting paid for it
3:42 it's kind of the same problem with singleplayer RPG that gave you an op weapon with limited usage
Most people wait for the perfect time to use it and eventually don't use it anyway
Well because it’s strong and valuable and I can only use it a few time and oh…. I already won?
after 900 hours on apex and at least 300 hours on solo queue ranked i can say half the players on low elo land like braindead people even in ranked matches.. why land between 5 squads when the probability of getting out alive is less than 20 percent. even if you manage to kill one or two squads you wont have enough resources to continue the fight onwards. great video though
Ikr
It's everytime…like you're giving away enemy free kill
Not to mention the weapon drop rng
Really great things to keep in mind as you are playing. Be a better teammate. Have better games. Simple.
You know I don't consider myself good but, I can kind of see why people play with me now even when my aim is dog doo doo.

firm disagree- especially since in the footage you show, you hip fire the mastiff.

@@tirushone6446 I know but it is just a super stressful thing that a lot of Apex players do
I would add to this that you shouldn’t stay too long looting in one area and should try move around to get fights and more diverse loot.
9:17 regarding #15 "trashtalk"
I was jumpmaster in ranked trio.
You just went off on your own to a place we couldn't reach quickly."
And then he got angrier, calling me a pussy, a noob, whatever. Then he quit the match even before Bloodhound and I were there long enough to engage anyone.
Takes all kinds, right?
Its hilarious when my team hot drops in ranked and the start yelling at me for going somewhere more safe.. after they died

Thank you for the deathbox explanation because I have teammates steal all my shit when we are right by a beacon. It is usually the only reason I rage quit. In a game like cool I had purple armor you left me with white and killed 2 people you got one and stole my whole box. Thank you 🥭
When that happens, as a Loba main, I then later proceed to ult when my team is at a distance from me and grab the best loot first >:3
I hate more that, when you get respawned and your "teammates" loot everythin from 3 pods next to beacon and left you p2020 and sniper ammo.
I think you missed the golden backpack to Lifeline, Gibby, Mirage.

Or bang if you have nothing better.
My teammates love to tan my box. Usually leave me a p20 and take my 301 gold mag
I remember playing a game of pubs my teammates died leaving me in a 1v3 that I did not clutch due to my teammate complaining at me
He said why tf are you taking my armor

At the time I only solo queued because I didn't have any friends who played Apex and all my randos were either better than me or too salty and at any mistake or miscalculation they'd go on about how shitty of a player I am and on and on with more colorful words. But now that I have two friends to play with we've all three been improving and enjoying the game more whether we win or die.
Man I feel you, so long as you're genuine I'd love to play with you (: I take ranked seriously but don't mind fooling around in pubs lol
I’ll have to remember better the next time.
number 13 dont chuck all ur grenades at once continues too chuck 4 arcs and 2 thermits
Then later she pinged a gold helmet asking me if I wanted it and I just ignored her
Some people tho will dibs everything, at this point i say fuck it. And also, if you are 200m away and dibs, it doesn't matter tbh.
I like Medium/long range weapons and I only ping the Scout to see if anyone else wants it before I take it and miss the majority of my shots 😂
He said don’t hop on the mic after your already dead. All I wanna know is who did you hit and how much did you hit them for. Not that I suck because I didn’t die with you!! That about sums up my night yesterday. PREACH BROTHER!! Say it louder for the PEOPLE in the BACK!!
Another thing for #4: check to see if they were carrying a mobile respawn beacon. will come in handy for efficiency or if there isnt a beacon nearby
that a good one to. it might help you in long run
It's so frustrating when I tell people I have mobile beacon and their just like "Nah mate"
i always land at the edge or at an uncontested part of a hotdrop. it makes me so mad and looses me fights all the time when, especially at the caustic center, me and my teamate are landing at the back, but our third teamate lands at the front with the entire enemy team. they get downed and thirsted and because of that we almost always loose the fight
Guilty as charged lmaoooo
The panicked 2v3 like you said is so bad.
I see that one ALL the time and I just calmly say "WAIT FOR ME AND WE PUSH THEM TOGETHER"
And they NEVER listen.
Respawn needs to make this an in game tutorial video for ranked
I got a team kill with 2 frags just last night. It was a strategic toss tho. I was presley certain 1 was down, 1 was rez, and 1 was either looting my teammates box or providing watch on the other two. It was very satisfying.
The amount of times a teammate has stolen all my loot when I was right by box after they rebooted me is insane, same thing with N.11 and 15,its crazy and the thing is it’s not only Apex
Should of added don’t listen to ur teammates landing at a sweat spot and there level 40 lifelines n die within 3 sec n leave the game
The last one is so true, I'll always get these guys in solo queue who instantly die and say, "bro my teammates suck" to a friend
Man, if only the random teammates I get saw this...
All those moments where in ranked I see them going hot zone alone, dying and blaming it on me and the other guy because we were looting
Would "No looting your teammates kills first" be a viable tip aswell?
Depends on whats going on if you and a partner shoot a guy and they get the kill you earned some of that loot but if you left your team they got a kill but got knocked and you come and steal it then rez then yea your bad
Well I be doing that sometimes to be fair but only if I done majority of the dmg to the enemy
@@loisthehedgehog7658 then that's not stealing your teammate's loot
My friends just yell at me when they’re knocked and/or have knocked someone and it confuses the heck out of me cause I can’t hear where they are which then leads me to get lost myself and confused, it’s even worse when they see my pov and keep saying there’s someone to my right in which I’ve said I’m aware about but am getting to a better position but they just talk over me but like idk what to say for them to stfu cause they never do haha
I put alll of this and i reached masters consecutively s11 s12 both splits (s12 13krp) and im a mnk player trust me this is helpfull
Mango: DONT ADS WITH THE MASTIFF
5:45: Does the action
Bro does anyone else find mangos voice incredibly soothing?😌
Very
I love how he says always ADS with the mastiff then immediately gets a kill using hip fire lmao I think ima do whatever feels right in the moment 😂
i started apex after a year last week already gold thanks for the tips
Me and my buddy were duo queuing ranked, the random died, we weren’t able to get his banner in time, he got pissy and started using tts and spamming “llllllllllllllllllllllll” over and over again so we couldn’t hear anything in the final 4 squads. It pissed me off to no end, but it was pretty funny. Lol.
How many times have I dropped and my tm8 took my shit right from under my nose
Especially when I land the middle at countdown to get that purple
After they also land there it fucks up my mood and my game
(Now this Vid is a bit older, but I still wanted to mention this)
One thing I learned which can help a lot, is, if you respawn a team-mate in mid-late game, it can be very good to drop them your alt-weapon, esp. if you have a good main.
Just earned another sub :D
I used Bangalore smokes In a rank match where the enemy had the high ground ( Insert Obi-wan) and one of them had a kraber my instinct was to smoke the ledge from the angle I was giving my team a safe route to zone. That's what I have learned to use Bangalore smokes In certain situations
Blocking vision is the main reason why I love playing her. The potential is as high as you are good at using it.
I hate people who smoke themself with Bangalore. The better play is to smoke between you and your opponent or smoke the opponent only. The only thing that smoking yourself does it make it harder for you to see anything. You did the right thing by using her smoke as a rotational tool
A high tier play is to use her smoke to stop people from third partying you while you fight another squad
,,Its over Bangalore, I have the high ground!"
Agreed 100% with every point made in this video, I hope more players watch this and learn some etiquette
Me and my brother always trash talk our teamate if their stats are bad on a legend. And sometimes they are trash.
THANK YOU!! I always tell my teammates to grab the care package weapons so others dont get it.
Last one is so true. Can't count how many times random teammates suddenly find their mic after they yolo'd and died...
On the death box: I would only loot weapons if I need it. And then I would return/ping a better/same weapon to the teammate
Scout goes crazy in single fire, I’ve always hated using the scout but since it’s been in carepackage I’ve used it more
At the end he sounded like he was remembering a tragic event in his past
I hate when my teammates decide to pick a fight when they see im screaming "i need a weapon", then they cry when i refuse to do the 1 v 3....
this video need to be spread to every apex player i see so much of this all the time most of the time the Jumpmaster thing where teammates dont drop off
The first thing is so true. Too many times I’m playing with some friends, and this one friend GOES ON AND ON with callouts and “hide behind the shield” or this and that. I GET IT, STOP TALKING PLEASE. It drives me crazy.
3:09 that heals sounded saucy lol
Mango *tells you to always aim down sights with a mastiff* also Mango *plays a clip of him using a mastiff without aiming down*
