MangosInTrees Apex Legends Tips
As someone who has Solo queued to high ELO, not dropping hot in ranked is the number 1 rule way to climb more consistently. It's way easier to get fully looted and 3rd party other teams than try to barely win hot drop fights. I got diamond solo in one of the early seasons of Apex when I was still pretty bad just because I would just play for ring position and placement instead of KP. If you're patient, KP will come, you don't have to force it below diamond. Past diamond though, you do have to ramp up the aggression a bit, but by then I hope you have a stack to play in or a lot of free time.
I agree. It’s not particularly hard getting RP if you play sensible. The hot dropping just kills RP. It’s not rocket science.
Facts
I swear half the dumb shit I see in apex comes from people watching their favorite streamer and then thinking they can play the same style of game they do. Yeah, they drop fragment and get 9 kills in 3 mins every time, but you are not that guy lol.
true i almost hit masters
I always appreciate your content, really helpful stuff.
I struggle with positioning and tend to get too aggressive too quick. Def stuff I need to work on.
To your first point. I think you make a lot of sense but typically me and my duo are adrenaline junkies and just wanna fight endlessly. We win a ton but have gotten ourselves killed because it’s enjoyable to just go for it.
He made a list of things to do to become better, not to have more fun. His stance is the correct one
its still crazy to think that mark rober plays apex
?
@@collynjohnson2220 he is talking about how the voice sounds somewhat similar
LMAO
He dose
HAHAHA
Problem with enemy awareness is that more often than it should be, a whole team can run up behind you and you wont get a single bit of audio until they fire their first shot and which by that point, you have nore than likely lost.
9:44 like me, been changing and testing aim settings since ages 😅
Btw is the hipfire really bad and not to be relayed on this season?
Thank you for the advices!
Anyone else remember when Mangos had 14k subs? Since then the quality of his videos have only been going one way, and that's up.
Also congrats on hitting 100k subs Mangos, I didn't even notice. 🤣🤣🤣
❤️🙏
"Stop hot dropping with 10 other teams"
I swear most Apex players have no idea that the game has multiple rounds. They play like they'll get a penalty if they survive the 1st ring. You don't have to hot drop in and die in the first 30 seconds! You can actually play the FULL match!
Your voice is so relaxing, dude. God tier ASMR.
If you hot drop the assault bin will give you a decently kitted weapon off drop it doesn't help your team but an r301 with blue stabilizer and mag can win your gunfights. Do not avoid it to help a team of boxes when it matters most
It's not random. If you nad you team have nothing it will give you 2 weapons and attachments for both
Seriously, test it with solo queue and open one without a weapon.
Not disagreeing with him just spent the first day of s16 in the firing range testing out the changes testable there
Also crouching with ARs is no longer viable (except with the hemmy, think that will change) for hip fire spam
Vids always fire ong bro keep it up
Thanks for reminding me I forget to do these thing a lot
If you hit the assault bins with no guns you'll get one with some attachments and ammo for it
I think a good skill to master as well is to hide and make the enemy team think they are only fighting duos. It’s situational of course but it works for me and my team.
Let your teammates know to keep the enemy busy while you flank them and your team slowly closes the distance. Then shoot from behind. Most times the enemy will be surprised and you can get a knock straight away. The strategy works even better with horizon or caustic.
Hot Droping is a Curse... Most of the Time i get idiots that do that (WE ARE RAMBO) what.. NO WE NOT!!
I try often to relay the passive aggressive play style but to many people trying to mimic streamers and not understanding their way will not work for the majority of players.
Assault bins give u a gun right away might not be what u want but atleast ud have a gun if needed right away
my friend hasnt played much recently and his positioning was bad so i helped him using most of the stuff you covered in the last tip and he drastically improved, thank you
Mark Rober? This is obviously Tony Hawk
The most frustrating is the advice think about where you're landing when fighting with random players. It's easy when you have friends to play with but all don't have that luxury.
We need solo on this game also
Another tip (maybe it’s in the video I didn’t get to finish it), try not to pick a legend in the same class as an already selected legend. Imo it wastes a slot that could fill a new roll.
Thank exactly I hate when ppl do that like I main ll and ppl play Newcastle even though he is better
I like a room temperature drop 😂
Valorant looks very cool and fun to play and I’m about to get my first ever gaming pc but I don’t know if I should get Valorant or not so should I or should I not?
The first tip seems to be the hardest thing for most mid tier players. Learning to leave a fight, or never engage to begin with when it's unfavourable is just not in some peoples game vocabulary. I had a team mate trying to push UP a zip line into a team with Rampart walls everywhere. The outcome was obvious before he even started, when I asked him why he was doing that, still trying after me and the other team mate had moved on he called me a pussy XD
21k seer I hate dropping hot 😂 slower is better.
Another banger vid
Everyone is hot dropping, landing on top of someone, going down immediately and then spamming the enemy ping. People really need to stop hot dropping if they suck so much.
Hot dropping in ranked drives me crazy. Instant negative RP.
You land Fragments to become a good player, then when you're good, you never get into Fragments again. That's how it goes
Completely wrong , landing fragment every game is one of the worst ways to improve your overall apex skill. Yes you might get a bit better at fighting chaotic 50/50s but ,most people die the majority of times and get discouraged and get into the habit of insta quiting. They also don't learn how to properly engage or fight teams that are geared up and focused on them, they get a few kills then die so they don't learn how to communicate/play as team or rotate properly.
@@unitynow6043 Funny, you say "completely wrong" then proceed to tell that you mostly agree with my comment. Winning against the odds is a good way to progress, but it's true that it mostly benefits "short-term" training like shooting or movement, while the "long-term" training like positions, comms and teamplay (who are the very most important aspects of the game) are better learned on slow-and-steady playstyle. On an other hand, if winning is somewhat important to you, going Fragments should be a last resort move, or just a no-no. So I'll admit my only fault was to say "good player" instead of "good fighter"
This probably works for some people, but not everyone learns the same way. For a lot of people just repeating the same mistake over and over again won't lead to any improvement at all.
And honestly, even for the people this DOES work for repeating the same actions over and over again stops being an effective way to improve after awhile.
Besides that, dropping in only one location can lead to a ridiculous lack of game knowealge. I've played with a lot of people who have way more experience than me who are really unfamiliar with World's Edge outside of Fragment. In a recent game a player with 2000+ kills on Pathfinder asked me if Overlook was a new POI. No, dude. its been there for years!
As long as support is on the team the banners can be bought by any legend.
the problem is either they are hot dropping or simply cant think in my opinion
Hot droppingb is more fun on anything other than olympus worlds edge and kings canyon you won't find anyone
I still wish pubs didn't put me up against preds, diamonds and masters 😂😂
Playing chill is boring though, i’d rather win 1 game out of 20 that was intense asf then win every 1 every 5 games that was boring, that’s why i drop hot
Ironically, I hit more up-close Sentinel hip fires than ever before.
HOw DO i UsE RaMPaRT
Can I add you on apex mine is MdN bring t and I have nearly got 9000 kills
Soooooo what you’re sayingggg isss… Loba = meta????
Random comment. I hate people who chase you down. Like leave us alone lol. We will make a good escape and nope they traveled across the map to get us
That background music when talking is putting me to 😴. Good video tho
Thanks for the content Mango. Always interesing to listen to, informative and always something new yo know. Apreciate it and stay sharp yall!
If you have nothing, the bin will always give you a gun and attachments of at least blue rarity
only if ur hardstuck i rush every1 in silver on my alt
First
Are you Tony Hawk?
1000th like let's goo
First 😅
Your videos are much like tip 4... predictable. When I was new viewer it wasn't bad because I hadnt seen any of your videos but its pretty insane how repetitive your videos are. Every video you do has at least a quarter of the information the previous video had, if not more. I get it, push out more content for more views as much as possible but the content has been stale for a really long time bud.
