What? Handbrake should ALWAYS be the first thing when you stop the car, no matter if it's auto or manual. Using this logic with a manual means you'd go into neutral or 1st and then use the handbrake, which means you'd still be rolling when you stop the car.
For this reason is because the transmission has a hook between the gearbox also called as transmission this catches the hook and this will be not good because this can and vice the gearbox of you use this a long time
@PakYuHoe is it normal when you release the foot break, when car is in D or R. The breaks sliding with car momentum and it make noise. Is it normal in automatic cars

Heres what you do Keep foot on break Put it in park, with foot still on break Pull the e brake Release foot from break Turn the car off Its not complicated. Many people want to do a complicated system of putting it in neutral. That car will go into neutral on its way to park anyways. 😂😂
It’s best to: put in neutral then e break then release foot from the break to make sure the tension is held by only the e break not the transmission Push in the break pad Put in park It’s better for your trans because the point of putting your car in neutral is to not have too much force held by the trans, good for parking on hills
@@MrGemini69 keeping your foot on the brake while putting it in park, and leaving it there until you pull the e brake means that the brake is holding it the entire time. The weight of the car never falls onto the teeth of the transmission

From drive to neutral + hand break + park
Always put hand brake first for safety just in case of an incline. Then neutral, then park.
Thanks
@@TheRIZKYRAMAof course, youll shift from d to n with ur foot on the brakes. Joseph is right. D to n handbrk_to p

then change from N to P.
When should I release the break with my foot?
I'm only hearing about this way of doing it now, why wouldn't you use the handbrake first?
Remember the following text:
'That causes damage to the gear.'
Transfer the gear from Drive to Neutral, engage the handbrake, disengage the handbrake, and then shift the gear from Neutral to Drive.
Correct way is to put into neutral first. Pull Handbrake and then push to Parking Mode
Agree
N is to idle the engine in traffic situation.
Usually i just put it into park but don't let go of the break until after i enable the park break
I just always step on the brake pedal and release it last.
on D, shift to N, apply parking brake, release brake pedal, and shift to P
True
If your handbrake is on then you probably don't need to lift your foot slowly, unless there's something wrong with the handbrake itself
D> N > brake >P
Keep foot on the brake, put the gear on neutral then pull the hand break and ship the gear on parking.
