May 29 of 2024. Its stills works, you really need to be precise on postioning him in that corner. I died trying like 11 times but yes it still works and I really don't think they will patch it. Nice cheese 🧀
Had no luck yesterday with this cheese and today, I managed to get into it couple of times in the first phase familiarizing it for the second phase (which got easier.) Yesterday I was being an idiot for lowkey ignoring that TOP TIP part due to frustration, plus I didn't do the fire crackers properly by not using it on the way down of landing. Thanks for the video, legend!
Update: i tried to beat him using the cheese, had issues and wasn’t reliable so i decided to just keep practicing and not too long after i was able to beat him myself a few times in the Reflection of Strength so i decided to do the Gauntlet of Strength, i failed 2 times but on my 3rd attempt i was able to beat him. i’m honestly kinda glad the cheese didn’t work since now i know that i was actually able to beat him myself and earned the outfit on my own.
i had some issues because i kept pressing the wrong buttons like X to move out of the way because my body still thinks i’m playing Armored Core 6 for some reason lol
I got so close to beating him today too I had him on 1 hit in 2nd phase but since I'm playing with a controller which the L1 button is a bit rusty sometimes it doesn't block causing me to die that's why I'm looking for a cheese

As minhas dicas são as seguintes: -não de hit diretamente na cabeça dele sempre tem que ser mais virado pra pedra. -provavelmente ele vai sair mesmo dali, da a volta por aquelas madeiras e volta pro canto quando ele chegar pula exatamente pra costas dele, e atira as bombinhas. -quando a barra de postura dele tiver quase cheia foca nele pra poder dar o golpe mortal, se não ele pula e sai do canto, se ele atacar é só defender e atacar um pouco mais que já liber ao golpe mortal -nao desista, é meio complicado, mas quando peda o jeito de bater nele ali ja era.

This method works on owl father which is shown in the video but I don’t think it works for inner father because he has that stupid mist raven teleport.
Doing this is harder than the actually boss fight. Ive tried for 3 and a half hours and can get threw the first phase fine but the second is impossible
when i jump off the wall right when he does his attack and gets into the spot he does an entire combo making him move out of the way when i use the firecracker so i can’t get the hits off
Had similar issue, although I pulled of the cheese multiple times (but only 1st phase). In the end I just learned the move set (and timing) and last night I beat the f***er. My strategy was to find all attacks where I had a window of opportunity to use the mortal draw (all kanji sign attacks + overhead sword slash, the kick back jump etc) as the mortal draw will temporarily block him from executing another attack (if you execute the double slash) and does a fair amount of vitality and posture damage.
@@Leatman199I think you have to understand this does not work anymore, on the latest patch for the game the boss behaviour is not the same, you can get him in the corner for a few hits but he will fire cracker or jump out, the boss behaviour is absolutely not the same anymore and saying this still works is frankly wasting peoples time this method does not count as a cheese because you are banking on an incredibly low chance of him ever getting into the corner but you are immediately kicked out of the cheese when he removes himself from the corner. It does not work anymore and to continue saying it does is disingenuous it does not work.

Sometimes I manage to get him in there. Hit him a couple times but he always slips out

Worked good first phase got like half health second phase and had to fight him

Yeah phase 2 is a little more tricky with the owl flying around, but try and get him in the corner when the owl is above his head 👍

it's a skill unlock. I believe its called Mid-Air Prosthetic under the Skill tab
