Good to see they look after their workers, monitor the drivers sleep patterns and diet. Healthy drivers equals less accidents
Truck drivers have usually been pretty safe drivers, back in ~2005 (in North America at least) they had half as many at-fault accidents per driver-kilometer than the national averages. But there's usually room for improvement and I agree, nice to see them working on it.
35:47 'I've laid pipe all over the world and this is one of the biggest' 🤣🤣🤣 Nice one
Yes this is Mega Pipe Laying , Wish I Could See It In Person . I worked for a plant in Minnesota for awhile concrete pipe was molded and placed on trucks and taken to pipe laying teams but nothing this massive as in this Australia Video.
not many will get the joke, but when you do...
Mate, Australia 🇦🇺. rides on the back of our trucks! I love my job!
Great video for SIMON, I work a few doors down from their Darwin depot! Those guys are alright. 💪😎👍
I've been driving a truck for 14 years in America I find this fascinating
you are luck as you find what you are interested
@Ian Visser I wish I could afford a electric car. I would love to see electric trucks takeover the industry . The effect they would have on air and noise pollution would change the world
@Ian Visser not me... id prefer diesel power.. more reliable i just hate electric trucks till they somehow make it last 1000 miles before charge and add auto charge thing like adding 2 electric motors in front wheel just for charging batteries
True tho... but his rules in USA is 11 hours on road , 3 hours on duty, 10 hours off duty... which equals to70 hour work time each week with 30 minutes break in middle of driving time
HOS or hour of service
Watching from Embu Town, Embu County in KENYA(EAST AFRICA). AMAZING

That dude laid pipe all over the world..👌👍😀
this joke has it's own audience
Lol
i wish i was that lucky
Without trucks it wouldn't just be Australia that stops. Just about every country, possibly all of them, would grind to a halt.
Wow I seen the Pilbra Ore Road Trains , These Are Just as Awesome . Logistics Is King .
I'm a Supply Chain professor in Brazil. Great documentary!
Hello
I love trucking and I always admire the adventure behind
Thank you for showing this to us in the United States.
Australia's really something else
This is an amazing look at the men/women who drive trucks that literally keep a nation alive. Much of it on two-lane blacktop. Unbelievable! They seldom get the credit they deserve so let's raise our glass to them right now! Cheers from Canada--another vast country with few highways to reach remote towns.
Need more Road Train Journeys in the outback!
I love truck. Drivers, they are the real road heros,,,,, big salute.
i love Australia so much...i must visit there after we get through this COVID-19 shite first.
I work as a bus driver with more than 15 years of experience. I travel long distances. I would like to work in your country. Thank you
LOVE these episodes! The Blokes are cool guys...what a life!
Amazing program well narrated
Yeah, that was a really good one. Spark tends to be hit-and-miss that way.
@Jose Great video How are you doing
Hope we get to know each other with time and patience?
@@lydiaanderson9765 yes hopefully we will
@@josevalenzuela7610 Hope you are doing good I love to meet new people and get to know each other probably. Do you mind suggesting any means we can talk off here and no more about your self
‘Australia lies at the bottom of the world.”
Antarctica: Am I joke to you?
"A couple of days ago, I saw a rig big enough to haul that tanker. You wanna get outta here? You talk to me."
I drive long haul in the U.S. My longest run has been 3240 miles. Just one trailer though and not through anyplace as harsh as the outback.
lets see him back that up into loading dock that would be impressive! In really Im sure reverse is a very much unused gear when hooked up to that train.
this wasnt a summary of logistics or truck driving, its just a video of two different trucking loads delivered.
I never thought trucking was cool until i saw these articulated semis. I don't know why they don't have turbine trucks because they would work real well in Australia. They would well on flat open ground and there are long flat terrains all over the world they would work well in. in the U.S. it may be to late because the traffic on highways, and i'm sure many of Australia's logistic centers are near highways (so these trucks can drop of trailers) so they don't have to go deep into towns and cities were they'd congested traffic. But if you zone properly so factories and intermodal facilities are located by highways/rail lines/waterways/airfields it would make a super efficient logistics network being you could move 3-4 times the goods with 1/3rd the truck drivers.
a whole lot of fun in the outback,,,,great doc
I used to run 8500km in just over 6.5days solo... 0 accidents .
I love trucking live long truckers
Talk about limited.. 105 kph.. hell Canada allows for 100 kph. And in the states some allow as high as 70MPH.
46:11 that is fast for that kind of load
there are escort cars front and back
Australia es aparte de todos los países y tiene por suerte muchos minerales para no depender de ningún país.
48 min long Volvo commercial.
thought the same
Would love to try such a roadtrain...... Have only tried to drive a little Danish roadtrain aka 2 trailers. Would love to try this :D
Hello I'm Belgian and I'm now applying for a work visa in Australia as trucker 😍
I wish I could someday drive for such a bigger company
ขอบคุณครับ
I liked the information.
For some reason am starting to like this channel more
I love this movie
Same as I play on World Truck Driving simulator
I cant believe that a truck can even make a turn towing a triple trailer. And are those trailers max weight?
Man i laughed when he said truckers are treated more like athletes whose diets and sleep patterns are tested regularly. I dunno if it really the case in Aussieland but it sure isn't the case in North America, where most are obese, out of shape heart attacks waiting to happen.
Nice!!
Very fascinating, I wish you journey mercies although👌🏾👍😃
What a tiny sleeper cab.
Truck drivers are in such a demand in the US that Walmart advertises on their trucks $95k-$110k($$1,800-$2,200@ week) which is pretty good for Walmart... It's also pretty crazy when convenience stores such as Rebel,Terribles and 7/11 are paying $14-$17@ hour in Vegas and that's the most I've ever scene them offer a cashier...That's our Brandon..
Don't know how many hours a day/week driver are allow d in Australia but I've scene "triple" drivers so they can drive pretty much coast-2-
carnt belive there only using 480 bhp on them runs , over in england we use 480/500 or alot more on 400 mile trips that last a day
The Volvo road train was running 600HP and the pipe truck was running a 540HP motor at 46,000KG. The one you thinking about was the 480HP single trailer they use locally.
Great.
I drive lemosine service in UAE
I want a job in Australia.
Is it possible
Um, actually, that thingie at the bottom of the world is called "Antarctica."
hahahah he bought new flip flops hahaha !!
hello I do get the sense , in the comment section, that it has been heavily visited by robots, honing their craft.
Anyway I enjoyed this video m
i bet the heat there is NOOOOO JOKE!!!
the background music is very distracting
at least its still background music. Can hear the voices... not like some that seem to think drowning out the voice wih the music is the way to go.
The video is very good but its music makes it unpleasant
15:56 that man's mustouch, is that a fashion or shaving mishap?
Hello good evening thank you for being beautiful thank you for being wonderful I hope you have a great day. Goodnight the greatness in you is beautiful
Dear volvo or others manyfacture, please make a bunker with air ride..coz our road its not that s smooth
Constant shaking its unnecessary when u try to sleep sir
Any english subtitles?
With all that produce, is it temperature controlled?
Yeah, those were refrigerated trailers.
Hello sir how can join this transport company .will you give a chance for sri lankans ?
So many in-show ads.... worse than public free-radio!
Nice way to spoil all this .....MUSIC must go
Road house or truck stop?
i was doing 4500 miles in 4 days wen i drove truck single driver
1:33 but how do they know where to go and what to carry?
Simple, if I'm a supermarket and I order 50 crates of tomatoes, I call them up, tell them what I want and where I am. That's a very silly question
2:14 specialized in carrying anything and everything. Uhhhh, then they generalize, not specialize. The guys who wrote the script is an idiot
As a truck driver I can't stand these big company monitor your every move.
Hi sir I'm very interested to apply trillir driver and your company

Weight, 3 pipes weigh 30 000 kg
I dream to own this business someday 😭🙏Lord help me
Fucking crazy Aussies. Truck driving in America seems like a walk in the park compared to what you guys do.
How many (per year) cubic kilometers of Earth could be minded?
at least 3
@@Kevy_G
Thank you for the information.
About fifteen years ago I read in, I think Popular Science, that mankind collectively moves enough Earth for all purposes, mostly mining and construction, to fill the Grand Canyon four times. The Grand Canyon's volume is estimated at 5.45 trillion cubic yards, which works out to almost 4 200 cubic kilometers. So if all that's correct, we move (but not necessarily mine) 12 000 to 13 000 cubic kilometers of Earth each year. The largest mine is the Bingham Canyon copper mine in Utah, USA. it is also the largest man made excavation and is allegedly visible from an orbiting space shuttle without binoculars/telescope. It is about five cubic kilometers. None of this is exactly an answer to your question, but might interest you.
