I enjoyed hearing about your European trip/cruise and seeing all the pictures at the end. Thank you for sharing them. I finished the small project you created for the Acorns and Threads gathering in January. I thoroughly enjoyed working on it. Thank you again for being a part of the event. I will try to put a picture of it on Instagram when I get it framed.
What a great time it looks like you two had! Those sweets in the pictures look amazing!! Thanks for sharing!
They were so yummy. Thanks for watching!
Spectacular pictures! Looks like an amazing trip. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching☺️
Thanks for telling us about your travels it all sounds amazing. I loved meeting you both at Autumn Stitch camp. - Denise💙
It was lovely meeting you too Denise. Hopefully we can catch up there again next year☺️
Wow! Love the pictures!
Loved the recap of your trip!
Very fun video, and what fantastic photos you took from your trip. Wonderful!
Thanks so much☺️
Karen and Bren!!! Greetings from Dallas!!!! It was so good to get your video! I had been needing a Fox and Rabbit fix!! LOL!! I’m missing the Patreon zoom calls since I dropped out of your Patreon. Finances. Ugh!!!! I loved hearing about your trip and the cruise. Sounded like a great time and I LOVED LOVED LOVED all the photos at the end of the video. Much much love to my favorite Australians! Hugs and kisses!!!!
Oh you are so sweet Michael. Please don’t worry about Patreon. We will try and do a general Zoom some time. Plus, we may even be able to catch up for lunch or something when we are in Dallas next year🤞🏻
Thank's for the wonderful tour of you so beautiful trip, fun to watched. Had to 😂at those so cute ducks. Fun haul Branden and Karen, saying Hello from Carolann from Duluth, Minnesota. Friend tolded me took her 24 hours to get to Australia from here😮.❤
Oh my gosh. That’s a lot. Typically it takes us about 13-15, but that’s still horrid
Thank you.
There is a duck store in Chatham, Massachusetts on Cape Cod, right on Main Street. It’s called Ducks in the Window. A great excuse to visit beautiful Cape Cod! 😁
Oh 100%!!!
What a fantastic adventure you went on! Thanks for sharing it with us. And yes, rubber duckies are a thing in the US🙄
Oh nooooo😂
I have two friends in Bruges, I have known them forever.
It’s the most beautiful place
I loved seeing all the vacation and cruise pictures. Thank you for sharing them.
Glad you enjoyed Scotland, although the weather this summer is even worse than usual. I lived most of my life 30 mins from Edinburgh, just moved away from there a couple of years ago. I still go to Edinburgh occasionally for work, but definitely not in a part of the city you could call beautiful
I also have an aunt in Inverness, so know it well. I don’t go there often because in Scotland measurements only … it’s SO far away 😂
Peaches and Lily are obviously so happy you are home 🐶
Oh we are soooo jealous that you live in Scotland. Each time we visit we leave a piece of our hearts there. Can wait to go back in October next year
Beautiful sampler!! ❤️❤️
Thank you! 😊
Guilty! It's so dangerous with all of us being faculty - we'll be off in a corner somewhere talking, and poor Jean will have to drag us out to actually come and teach... The ducks are absolutely fabulous btw, you'll find all kinds of fun ones here if you look... And Karen, it's all your fault, I've been resisting the MFE Dutch Red House sampler successfully and I finally broke when you showed it!
All so true Katie. Not long until we are all together now🥳 And you are very welcome. I love to enable😂 Maybe we can kit it up at The Attic☺️
@@FoxandRabbit Definitely!!!
You both look like you had a fantastic time on your trip! Sounds like you need to recovery quickly with so much work to do! I don't know how you are able to get as much done as you do. I didn't get the box because I have never stitched with 36 count fabric; 32 count is my go to count. Maybe next year's box will lend itself to a 32 count project. Take care and get some rest although I can imagine Karen you are also busy trying to keep up with the TDF. Tajej' is defending that mio journe!
We will definitely keep that in mind for next year Patty. Yes, Tadej keeps extending his lead 🥳💛🤞🏻
So good to catch up with you both!! Thank you for sharing the wonderful memories from your trip. ❤
Thank you for sharing your trip with us! I loved it!
It is so weird to hear you talk about how cold it is there. We are experiencing unusual hot temps for July here in the USA. The heat index is 105 F here in NC today.
Oh my gosh Linda. We hope you get some relief from it soon
If you have a coffee or tea with your stroopwafel, put your stroopwafel on top of your cup for a minute...
I’ll tell Brenda as I don’t drink tea or coffee but he does☺️
I saw a lot of your pictures on Facebook as you were traveling but it was great to see what you saw! I love your new look Karen! Your new look is amazing! Would you ever consider doing a class at Hobbyhouse in Rochester ny. My husband and I hope to go to England and Scotland next year. My family is from there and I haven’t been back since the 90s so keeping my fingers crossed. Sue, Marilla ny.
So glad you enjoyed it Sue. You live in a beautiful part of your country. Yes, of course we would consider teaching at Hobby House. We loved our visit there last year.
What a fun video! Loved hearing all about the fantastic places you visited. I know the cruisers enjoyed your company! Your photos are all just lovely! I love how you make the most of all of your travels. I’m really happy for you two and how your career in the stitching community has been so well received! Happy stitching! 🎉🥰😘
Thank you so much for your kind words Mary💕
Thanks so much for sharing your trip and all the pictures. It was a lot of fun. Looks like you had a wonderful time and now I have more places on my bucket list to go visit. Happy stitching. Cheers.
It was amazing.
What a wonderful video! I have loved following along with y’all on your travels to places I will never get to see in person. Thank you for sharing! ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you both for sharing your wonderful travelogue of your trip! I so would love to visit the places you went, beautiful scenery in every direction!! The stroopwafels in that shop looked fantastic and the chocolates looked heavenly!! I get such a kick out of the rubber duckies! This was so wonderful to see! Thank you for sharing all of the wonderful photos both on your social media and here as well! Looked like the trip of a lifetime!
We are so glad you enjoyed it. It really was a memorable holiday☺️
Yahoo, you're back! Karen, your hair looks cute, good length for you. Always look forward to seeing you and hearing all about your stitching, dyeing and adventures.
Thank you so much. I keep forgetting I cut it😂
Must come back to this later but thank you so much for all the beautiful photos - much like being with you.
Looking forward to the Alaska cruise. It will be delightful to meet you and take a class. Wow that’s quit a total of mileage on your Subaru. Mine is from 2015 but no where near the mileage your car has. Brenden I noticed your pen. Nice Pelikan. I use fountain pens also. I have Oxblood in my burgundy Pilot E95s.
Alaska isn’t far off now. We’re getting really excited. I love fountain pens and have a nice collection of Pelicans, Esterbrooks, Montblanc and Visconti pens. The only pilots I have are vanishing points, I need to get some Pilot customs. Oxblood is one of my favourite colour inks. I also love the iroshizuku inks, especially the greys
Looky, looky....look who is here???? !!!❤❤
Thank you for sharing your adventures. Always a fun and relaxing time watching your videos. ❤❤❤😊
So glad you like them☺️
Wow, sounds like a wonderful Trip, and a very nice Retreat. I enjoyed the pics online. I'm excited about the mystery box. Wonder which fabric count was ordered the most. What a fun collection of Ducks. I think it's a world wide thing! Pretty Birthday gifts, cool charts, goodies, and wow I love the shaker stitching box. The dogs have made me laugh a lot in this video, oh my Lily, lol, what a 🤣story, and glad Peaches is healing. I plan to be shopping @ The Attic during my birthday week next month.
wowsers- chock a block full of wonderful memories!!! Great FT and lok forward ot the next! Great to see Bren did more than 6 stitches on is birthday SAL - hopefully I'll get some stitches oin on the 2022 SAL ha ha ha!
😂
It was so lovely to meet ,visit and stitch with you on the cruise!! 😻Hope to see you again in the states .My Amy Mitten kit is on its way, can’t wait!! ona
It was great fun stitching with you too Ona. You will LOVE the kit☺️
Lots of adventures...glad you are back safe and sound.
It began in 2020 when Allison Parliament, a woman from Ontario, Canada, bought rubber ducks from a convenience store and gave them to other Jeep owners with notes that said "Have a great day". Parliament's intention was to spread cheer and positivity during the COVID-19 pandemic and to let people know they weren't alone. The trend has since spread to Jeep enthusiasts in the United States and other countries around the world.
Wow. We had not idea. It’s amazing
@@FoxandRabbit Yep, that is the story of Duck Duck Jeep. RIP Allison. But I'm pretty sure that rubber duck store in Amsterdam was there before that.
Yes, I live in Europe and have collected rubber ducks for many years .
❤❤❤
nice to see you again
Stroopwafles are available at Costco and Woolies
Ohhh good to know ☺️
You two are so funny 🤣
LOve the bookmark
Haha, great duck collection. The duck thing in America is DuckDuckJeep. I'm not aware of ducks for each of the states, but who knows.
If there is he will find them
Happy belated birthday to both of you
Thank you ☺️
I so loved meeting you both on the cruise, I didn't get to spend much time with you though. Sounds like the adventures you had in our various ports were wonderful - I may have to tag along with you guys next time!!! I am very much looking forward to the 2025 Alaska cruise and can't wait to see what your class will be. I was at Jacob's talk at the hotel and got to the room about 1/2 early so chatted a bit with him. Your description of Jacob is spot on - a lovely person and such a talented designer and researcher. I didn't have the pleasure of stitching with you and the other ladies after Culloden - I did see the sampler and was sad that we couldn't take pictures so was delighted to hear the story of someone contacting Amy about getting her kit. I've sent her an email to see if she'll extend that offer and I will be delighted if I can get my hands on it! Jet for me was bad and I only had one day off my job before going back to work then getting a respiratory infection 3 days after I got home, laryngitis about 5 days later and have been struggling a bit - thankfully that is finally going away as is the jet lag!!!! Happy stitching and keep up the great work.
We would have loved to spend more time too Debby. The ship was so big and everyone seemed spread out all over the place. We look forward to spending more time with you and everyone on the Alaska cruise. I believe Jean said the stitching room on that ship is very bright with lots of windows so hopefully more of us will stitch together in there.
As for the Culloden sampler, just email or message Amy and mention you were on the cruise and hopefully she can put one together for you🤞🏻
I’m so sorry you had this horrid jet lag as well. This time it has been brutal 😩
@@FoxandRabbit if it's like the stitching room on the cruise to Hawaii, it's stunning and you'll love it. I did email Amy (figured it wouldn't hurt!) but haven't heard back yet. I'll keep my fingers crossed. I must say reality isn't all it's cracked up to be!!!! LOL
So sad, I emailed an expression of interest when the mystery sampler was first mentioned, but I didn't get a notification of sale 😢
I’m so sorry Susan. We did send the email out to everyone on the list. The email only had the initial launch time. We staggered the sales over 8 hours though to try and benefit the different time zones.
Did anyone tell you to put a strump wafel on top of a steaming cup of tea for a few seconds. It softens the caramel layer
Someone did here in the comments. I’ve told Bren as I don’t drink tea or coffee but he does ☺️
Check out ducks and Jeep owners in USA.
We have been hearing about these. Bren will definitely be adding to his collection when we come over ☺️
I’m a Kirk😊 did you bring any tartan home?
He has it on order. Should be arriving soon
May I ask in what town in Vermont did you purchase the antique sampler? Just curious. Love all of the vacation photos, thanks for sharing!
It was a lovely town called Woodstock
Woodstock is about an hour from where I live. It is a beautiful little town.
Are you going to Garon weekend 1 or 2 ?
Weekend 1
