- Located in Wilmot, OH in Holmes County, the heart of Amish/Mennonite country. It's really lame and tired and needs some TLC. You'd think if your main attraction was a clock you could make sure it was set to the proper time. It went off at "7:30PM" when in fact it was really 3:40PM.
If you read the description you noticed that the clock striked 7:30 PM at 3:40 PM, so I thought it needed some fixes.
Oh No, I think the drummer man with one big cymbals is missing.

Astroturf and the tacky lawn ornaments placed around it, plus the fact that it is a CLOCK that doesn't tell time correct, is what made it lame.

is anyone else wondering what happened to the old videos of this clock in its original location?
I nearly froze my butt off waiting for this clock to strike when I saw it. Man opposite the twirling woman used to clap. This is at the Alpine Alpa Restaurant. Restaurant was sold a few years ago and has lost some of its charm. Used to have great Fontina and Baby Swiss cheese as I recall.

I am not sure if this is the biggest cuckoo clock.
Maybe when you count the garden with it.
But with building i know bigger clocks.
Cuckoo clock triberg blackwood forest have 4 floors you can even walk inside.
So that clock is higher and bigger.

Probably it's out of time because it's water driven, the water stream is irregular and the clock hasn't been tuned for a while
Riiight. Because Disney characters, frogs, garden gnomes, deer and rabbits of various sizes, etc., really go with a giant Swiss cuckoo clock.
I'm sure I'll go back when it's restored because I love this kind of stuff, but as of right now that thing is totally lame and tired.

@NICOLAJ154 You left out the" ' " in that's and you left out the "o" in clock and you put the "s" in first in the wrong place.
@nicolaj0154 The pendulum is probably somewhere else in the clock and those things you thought were the pendulum were weights for the clock and you put to many words and some of the words in the wrong places.

I stand by my assertion that Bambi had no business sitting on astroturf next to a famous worn out cuckoo clock that wasn't even set to the correct time.
I hope in the 2+ years since I visited and posted this video that the clock has been restored. I love this kind of stuff.
