Man I gotta say, I got a little emotional this episode for Aiku because all of a sudden you realize why he's been such a daddy to Sendou. I kept wondering why they were showing him being so supportive of Sendou after all his failed attempts and once it clicked in this episode I was like.... 🥺 Aiku was the real Uncle the whole time.

Barou read the play and used his physicality to push past the defenders that were slow to see his approach and that clear from Reo using Nagi's jumping turn. I know in the future when it comes to future potential Reo will be up there with some of the best in Blue Lock like Nagi and Rin who even still have a lot to show.

When he said they cut the flowers they can't control and all end up becoming the same, he was referring to his talent. They stop'd him from being able to grow in the style of striker he could have been and developed him into one of the standard strikers you could find all over japan(the field of white flowers). Aiku realized this was a weakness so when he asked his coach if he could be the best in the world and his coach said yes, that confirmed the coaches own inadequacy. These mass produced strikers could never be the best(same thing ego was saying), so he became a defender to prove to that coach as well as everyone else what he saw was a real weakness and he proved it by becoming the best defender, in the process though he also wanted to then find and help strikers that are different from the type his coach was trying to make(the strikers of blue lock).
Basically, they wanted to make aiku a normal, "pathetic" japanese forward, but he became disappointed by that and his new "bloom" became to be a defender that can shut down all of those types of strikers

If you think it isagi just got his first assist with barou's goal. Since it was his pass that barou scored off since rin didnt get a touch on it, as for the others, they were all mostly rebounds, only sae has 2 assists and a goal, since rin's/nagi's goals were rebounds, and so was sae's first goals, so the only team assists in the game have been 2 from sae and 1 from isagi in just this episode, sae 3 g/a, shidou 2/a and 1 each for nagi, barou, isagi and rin, If im mixing up anything correct me.
The coach is lying to him when he says yes he can become a striker. The bad system of adults forces the young man to bury his dream. That is why Aiku changed his dream instead of becoming that already being dropped by his coach or adult systems, he wants to become the defender that destroys the strikers that are already put down by his coach. Something like “If you not gonna let me be what I want, I'm not gonna let u get what u want anyway”. That's why Aiku said he would destroy the strikers that u made this whole time. Shidou and Aiku are the only confirmed players in the flow but Niko also couldve been in the flow when defending against Shidou. he had the same eyes as Shidou n Aiku when they were in the flow.
As crazy as it sounds, not a single goal came out of an assist other than this Barou one by Isagi. Literally all were rebounds from the defense or back from Gk 😂
