- Welcome to Zoë's Baking Academy Live! I'm so glad you're here. On Sept. 1 at 2 p.m. ET/1 p.m. CT, I'll go live to bake my Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookies from my new book, Zoë Bakes Cookies! I will also answer any questions you have about cookies or about the book.
I started Zoë’s Baking Academy to share my tips & techniques for successful baking that can apply to all recipes, even the ones from your grandma. You can bake my chocolate chip cookie recipe exactly the way it’s written (that’s how I love it) or you can create a chocolate chip cookie exactly the way YOU like it. I’ll show you how! That’s what we’re doing this month for Zoë's Baking Academy, creating our “perfect” chocolate chip cookie, which may end up unique for each of us.

Do you use the same amount of fine kosher salt as regular kosher salt?
I do! It really will depend on your palette, but I have been using the same amount.
