Well, this was ahead of its time.
The only difference is is that now they have an Asian-American cast member to play him instead of a fat, white guy. Though Bobby Moynihan's take on him is pretty good.

i was blown by the closeness to real life of how he played acute gout pain. damn. when gout really flares up it really brings the pain.
when the acid crystals form in the joint feels like hot knitting needles being pushed in and out of your foot / knee ouch

Not even then. The swelling keeps the joint from bending correctly, even with pain pills.
Me too, I'm a laborer and my bosses thinks that I am malingering when I get gout and I never get pain medication.
No doubt I get it my left ankle it sucks
I've had plantar fasciitis in my left foot which is a picnic compared to the pain of gout!

That is the traditional painting “Sun and Moon and Five Peaks.” During the Joseon dynasty, it was always placed behind the throne of the Korean king, they were referencing him being like a king, but only k-drama and history nerds will probably get it. The real painting doesn’t have a tree in the center, only the sides.

@Courtney Schilling It's white people in North Korean uniforms, which characteristically look Soviet. So yes, we understood that the uniforms play a key smartass, but it's because they're white that they look Soviet

I'm not American, but I sure love SNL! In general, they have pretty good videos. They may have one or another video that isn't that good. Sometimes their humor is too obvious. When it's not, it's hilarious.

Nobody could catch me I was short, 75lbs and agile, I was a tiny ninja, in middle and highschool. Still got bullied and if I could go back I'd beat the $hit out of my bullies.
