I have driven my 812GTS 6000 miles in 5 months. My first Ferrari V12, having owned most Ferrari V8’s over the years including 458 and 488. The 812GTS is by far the best Ferrari I’ve owned. I’ve used it on track and road. Great video, the only point I’d disagree with is your comment on the seats. I’ve got full electric Daytona seats which have been great for everything, including track and I’d recommend them. The beauty of this car is it is a race car and a grand tourer in one, with luggage space and beautiful to look at. I look forward to watching your next video
Excellent review guys. I actually enjoy the lack of cinematic effects and constant changes of angle. The long form dialogue is a welcome change to the other two guys channels. Much appreciated.
I've driven my 812GTS over 14,000 miles since buying it new. It is a daily driver in NW Ohio, although I do not drive it with snow or brine on the roads only because all that power would destroy a set of Pirelli SottoZeros in a month. So, I drive my GTC4Lusso with SottoZeros in the winter!
RE: Throttle feel. The Hamilton Collection guys were talking about one of the McLarens, either the Senna or the P1's, hypersensitive throttle response. Steve thought something was wrong with the fuel/air system but it turned out that his foot microbouncing on throttle with road vibration was causing the car to lurch. Crazy.
Yeah that is crazy, I’ve experienced that to some degree in a few cars when going through a bumpy section but to have micro-bouncing cause it would be wild, especially matched with that much power
Griffin here. That is the exact issue the Giulia Quadrifoglio has. Even with my tune it does that and feels like it's an engine problem. The only thing that solves it is resting the pedal all the way to the floor! (of course haha)
great video! we actually have both the GTB and GTS in our collection haha. IMO it's the ultimate modern ferrari v12, it took everything great about the f12 and made it faster with a better interior. Both of ours have around 1000 miles each, but frankly the one reason I dont often drive it is the front end is soooo massive and I cant see the end of the hood, so I always gotta mentally remind myself that it isn't a porsche or mid endgine-sized front haha if you guys can find one, you HAVE to do the 458 or 458 speciale. IMO it's my favorite, the 458 and the speciale have such a different feel (with the 458 having more imperfections obviously) but its such an endearing car. Personally I have no idea where people get off saying the z06 sounds better than the 458 haha
Haha yeah totally feel you on the front end. It's very far out there, understandably. That's very cool that you have both. Amazing car. Re:458, we have been dying to try one. We keep hearing that it's the best!
You guys have done some incredible reviews / videos recently! Keep up the excellent work! If the owner is open to selling this car I would be very much willing to buy
This is absolutely the pinnacle of the internal combustion engine. Electric cars will NEVER have a soul like this. People who think they're better don't get it. This is music.
Ha! I also have a 2018 GQV as well and a friend with a 812 who owes me a ride! After watching this, can't wait! Good stuff. Also need to get with Jason and get some of the mods you did to your QV! 😎
@@carhoneyI've played with the Ferrari configurator a few times and always in up creating this exact car just with the seat swap. Perfect colors inside and out and only now with the 296 has Ferrari created something that can compete with the 812's in the looks department. However the gts wins out with the open air +V12 vibe. Amazing car!
You guys do an awesome job reviewing cars. I also recognize the roads to be Petaluma area. Are you guys from the Bay? Also is the GTS stock Ferrari exhaust or an aftermarket? Sounds quite nice!
Great review. See if you can get a TDF to review… You’ll be amazed at what 200 pounds less and much more induction noise does to the car. That’s to answer your question, the only way you could improve on this one.

Every experienced reviewer in England agree with you, those Daytona seats also look unbelievable, congratulations sir!
This was peak Ferrari interior for me. All other Ferrari's answer to the 812 cabin, and have been found wanting.
Definitely agree
That footwel shot demonstrating the throttle is so insightful
Thank you thank you thank you
Cheers!

Thank you very much! I’ll pass that along but I’m certain he is very happy with the car :). I hope you can find one in your spec though!

Haha nice! You’ll love the 812 and that will probably motivate you to go to Jason’s even more…;)
In love with this car, also great video setting. Plan to get this or other ferrari in the future.
Nice video. Loved the insights and the footwell shot. Just subbed to you now!
Thanks man! Appreciate the sub. New videos soon.
I drive mine pretty much daily, and yes the downshits in race mode are amazing.
Good man!
Enjoyed the video. Can you please share info on the lift in the garage?
Thanks! It’s a Bendpak 4 post lift
Great video! I have one question: is the exterior color blu tdf?
Thanks! It’s actually Blu Swaters 👍🏻

Agreed!
I have 2,300 miles on mine!! And, yes, it is a higher mileage car LOL
Haha exactly, thanks for actually driving yours!!
Nice

Thanks man! Yeah we’re in the north bay. The GTS was stock yeah, but sounded so good. Definitely miss that one!
@@carhoney Have you guys driven the regular 812 Superfast? Curious how the GTS compares.

YUP!
Noice!!!
Thanks Simon!
I don't get it. Why would I not want comfortseats in this?
Lol it’s seems to be every 812 owner in existence is in the comment section of this video..lol
¡Debiera ser en español!

Cant beat a v12, but arent the mid-engined cars better for the track and general handling?
