I cannot believe Corsair didn't make this strictly matx, just wow. So it's essentially just a remake of a 4000d for the sake of marketing a new case. Matx gets barely any love yet it's what people keep asking for.
@@3xssystemshmmm good question, probably the fractal torrent for its performance, maybe also the Asus p201 too, the lancool 205 from lianli is also ok I guess (I'm more of a thermaltake core g3 kind of guy or 2000d, I'm rocking a 4000d airflow though)

Yeah, he's literally the first one to have done a build with this case. On most of the most popular tech shops there isn't even a review. Maybe in the next weeks we'll have something. Nice case though, i guess i will build my next pc on it.
I have this case. I didn't realize the panel was tempered glass. As soon as I saw it, I knew I would shatter it in no time. Sure enough, a couple hours later I was taking the panel off while down on the concrete floor and ... smash. Hit the corner on the bare concrete and shattered the panel. Luckily I hadn't taken the plastic off yet so it mostly held together. Now I need to replace the panel with something I won't smash. Like plexi, or wood. I salvaged the metal components off it.
We've put the 4090 through its paces and certified 850W is more than enough with our extended testing suite. The full system pulls up to 750W in gaming 👌
Got the exact same case, with a b450-a pro MB. The rgb fans work, but they don't light up. I connected a deepcool FH-04 4 port fan hub, because MB only has 1 system fan port. Any suggestions to get the rgb lights to work?
Might have to switch out my h5 flow for this case. I like that I’ll be able to possibly front mount my rad ontop of just having more clearance toward the front of the case. also… I’ve been looking for a case that allows me to mount fans right under my gpu. So that alone already has me sold

Really good video. This case is a confusing and unnecessary sidegrade from the 4000D. Same big ATX chasis, slightly lower price, better stock fans (PWM) but without USB-C. I hoped the 3000D would be an mATX case.
Exactly! I was hoping the same thing! The mATX case category is lacking in good options with front USB C and the usual layout! Corsair only has 1 mATX case and its a TRASH CUBE!!! I have a thermaltake s100 and it has no front usb c
Hi. Could you please tell me where I can possibly get the SSD holders? I've recently bought the 3000D Airflow but the SSD holders don't come with it. :(
Hello, The SSD Brackets are the same as the ones used in the Corsair 4000/5000 Series cases which can be bought separately www.scan.co.uk/products/corsair-25-ssd-tray-black-compatible-with-icue-4000x-4000d-4000d-airflow Alternatively you could always install your SSD's within the HDD bays if they are not currently in use 😊
Is the case compatible with 280mm aio on top of the case? According to the manufacturer's website, yes, but I im affraid that i will run into some clerance issues.
I dont understand where this case sits in the line up. Its a 4000d without the usbc, but they added back the missing usb3, which btw I still dont understand why the 4000d did not have 2 in first place, half a header wasted… This shouldve been an mATX case, with enough clearance for aio at the top and keeping the usbc
For an optimal build, we'd recommend going 4000D, however, from our testing you could fit a 360mm and 4090 depending on radiator thickness. Using a standard 30mm radiator + ASUS TUF RTX 4090 you should be fine, but its tight! 😜
Depending on optimisation id put money on this pc murdering it at even 8k, dayz isn't very demanding anymore and with a good processer the 4090 will bitch any game you throw at it for the moment
After reading the specifications for this case on their website it shows they literally removed both ssd mount brackets and even the front cable hiding panel that's vertical to the right side of motherboard to reduce cost maybe? Kind of ridiculous corsair did that and shows those parts in the diagram as "sold separately". In addition they removed the top usb-c port and also the back cable routing channel. If purchasing those parts would actually make this cost way more the the 4000d too.
We'd recommend an M.2 SSD for ease of install, but if you wanted to download your entire game library > the 3000D has space for 2 x 2.5" + 2x 3.5s. What drives do you currently use?
@@masterlink3941 The 3000D case will have you covered, but if you're in the market for a new case and unsure on what drives will fit, our site has an extensive selection with all the details you need 😉

Rather than plexi, I recommend polycarbonate. Clear like plexi, but tougher, better heat resistance.

Feet cant be removed on this model unfortunately. This is to keep adequate spacing between the ground and PSU, ensuring consistent airflow.
