Again really helpful. A few questions. I love your sides, they look so much better than the normal ones. I thought the sides were supposed to be glued first, then the wheel rear plate attached after? Are you able to remove the rear wheel plate and glue the sides at the bottom? I also didn't see you true the wheel (maybe not needed as its printed) How will you attach the veneer to the playing surface of wheel (especially if it cant be removed) ? I am obviously no expert, so keen to learn from what you are doing as well.
Love your videos, we are at similar stages of build, i love the virtual support!

Thanks so much for coming back. Actually the wheel didn't need much truing because it was printed in one piece. I am not going to veneer it, I will see if the wood resin will take the rosin and produce some sort of sound. If not I will do another wheel and veneer it. I attached the wheel and its plate before doing the sides as I thought it wold be easier. It seems to be okay. If I want to remove the wheel, I just need to hold it and unscrew the handle then remove the back plate with its bolts. I am no expert at this so am always ready to be tripped up, which is kind of why I decided to do the parts myself rather than use the kit because I can always try different stuff without worrying about running out of parts. Also I can put butterflies on it, currently there are 11 but I might add a couple more! (I like butterflies!)
