13:51 legacy energy unlocks attacking with both cornerstone and mimikyu if needed. Maybe a consideration. Thanks for the video Joe! Great stuff as always.
I really enjoyed your tournament report at the end. I love to hear about other people's experiences at these bigger events. It would be nice if you kept doing these kind of reports for future tournaments you and Jack attend :)
Where is that Dragapult article ? I think it would be a great read. Overall great vid, I'm still leaning on a few options as they kinda feel "equally" good, it's hard !!
Really feel like miraidon with area zero has a pretty decent matchup into raging bolt. Really depends on coinflip and still slightly easier for the bolt player but after going undefeated against the deck at dortmund (1 win on day 1 and another in day2) it feels much more comfortable now
I still feel like Palkia Noctowl has potential to be BDIF and has great match ups vs the evolving decks like dragapult due to ninja cologne, but i think you really need to lean hard into being Palkia centric to be consistent enough. Id probably rather run something like Kieran than the Leaves to be able to hit enough damage to KO the Zard. Ive been unsure on whether Bidoof/Bib is correct or whether Mew ex+Fez is just better.
@@alextheballer20 yeah definitely juggling some of those engine counts is something I’m exploring. I went into the event thinking zard would be most played and wanted basically a free round but the deck can still beat zard without it: although at that point we could just be playing terapagos dusknoir tbh
I've been messing round with Greninja ex/Pidgeot/Dusknoir/Sparkling Crystal list. I was thinking the exact same thing about fighting making a comeback with all the turtles in the game right now.
@@Jake-NerdyUpNorth greninja finally has its chance to shine! Really nice selling point right now and we know it’s attacks have potential in other matchups
You wouldn't believe it but I know a guy that went 5-0 and then bottled his second regional to miss day 2. What a loser. Also Crispin is optimal in bolt lol Joe
This really feels like a meta with a ton of viable decks, and a format where nobody knows the best deck, it's exciting!
So I don’t give up on my regi deck? Lol

Hey Joe, I went 4-5 in the cup with Darkrai 😅 the list has potential just missing that final hurdle

Would you mind linking us to where Shintaro Ito talked about the Dragapult build? I tried looking for it myself but couldn’t find anything.

Anybody know where I can find the shintaro ito article on the dragupult deck?
👀
Like Omnipoke said, it's in note (a Japanese article site), but you have to understand Japanese language.
