As someone who plays Miraidon a lot I love these new cards. Don’t know how I feel about losing Prime Catcher in this list. It’s still an insanely powerful card that is super easy to get with Arven. I also still don’t know how I feel about Latias. Until we get 8 bench spaces our bench is suuuuper tight and I’ve noticed Latias takes up a spot I need a lot of the times. Still debating if I use switch carts or not. Can’t wait to test the deck more !
@@timmyfooWhich is why I can see the appeal of Secret Box. Being able to Arven for the Box and get an item that gives us more tools is super valuable. My issue with the Box is the discarding three. A lot of times Miraidon gets hand punished and we don’t have a ton of ways of getting valuable pieces back into our hand. I’ve had situations where getting rid of something like a Bloodmoon or Lumineon is fine the turn I discard them but the very next turn I’m mad that I did.
@@timmyfoo So after some time of testing I think secret box is the play. I run 3 copies of Boss’s Order and a Counter Catcher which has been enough gust options along with Iron Bundle. Been really liking the ability to set up with our stadium easier
In the past you played mewtu. But Pikachu can’t get knocked out thanks to its ability, what makes it a bit better. You can bench both with the help of miraidon cause of electric Tera type :)
Miraidon becomes really difficult to play when we lose our V Pokemon. Losing Raikou and also Forest Seal Stone makes the deck borderline terrible. When we loss Flaffly last year Miraidon had a hard time keeping up in format until we got more tools. Raichu became basically impossible to use and Iron Hands isn’t really a good attacker on its own to deal with the Zards and a like. We’ll need some better attackers to release before the next rotation to determine how well Miraidon hangs on. I’ve made some versions of the deck that won’t have cards rotated out and it reaaaally hurts. I basically end up using Miraidon as the primary attacker and it’s just not nearly as good as what we have currently.

Not being able to find area zero is an issue with this build sometimes but when it works it's amazing

The discarding three cards hasn't been as big of a hindrance as it first appears for me when using secret box
Interesting deck

Nope, it's just 3 basic energy PERIOD to an electric pokemon. Can any type of energy. I get confused on this a lot lol.
How are you able to attack with Pikachu? How do you get the non-electric energy requirements?
Pika isn’t supposed to attack it’s there only for area zero
Pikachu sits on the bench to activate area zero. We never attack with it. The ability keeps it safe from a gust one hit ko for two prizes play
@@dragonitekid1578 Thank you!

DTE feels bad in this deck. Don’t like it personally. Also don’t like bloodmoon.
do you believe that miraidon will be playable after the F rotation next year?
Its heavily dependent on V pokemon still but could get some help with future sets after rotation!
Can you make this decklist without F? I'm trying to prep for next year...
