It's supposed to be a punchy, quite aggressive song. Holly Lantree's drumming drove the bollocks off it. Most covers miss the target...only the Dead Kennedy's version live comes close for me.
"Come right where you (gal) belong" is a pretty sexist commandment. But I just love this cover. Ezra makes pretty interesting choices in that sense, although I'll never quite forgive him for the "Blurred Lines" thing.
