This is such a beautiful little glimpse of life. Each groomer so skillful and dog lovers. Maxine's expressions treat us to her feelings about each step. Many many moments of joy though my favorite was the nano second when Maxine glanced up as if to say, "Just look at how long those blue nails she has are.!" Oh the things dogs endure for their humans.
It is absolute madness that the fluffy corgi coat is considered a defect according to the AKC breed standard. I mean look at her. She is perfection above any standard!
What a remarkably calm and behaved corg! She must be very well treated in her home. Mine is too self-conscious to permit such free handling - I treated him too bossily when he was a pup, and he became quite adamant on his personal space in return.
Maxine is suuuch a good girl! I loved her owners beard peeking at some point. ;) The grooming lady sneaking in a hug and a pat every now and then, so cute. Also love she kissed her with her mask. :P
Oddly enough, I don’t like it. Her bottom looks like a Bichon! I love all the feathers. The only trimming I understand is around pads of feet and (ahem) anus, for cleanliness. Polly never got poop in her britches or leg feathers, but she might have been unusual. Well, of course she was!
I have a fluffy cardigan and it is a pain for both of us to brush him! He would be a nervous wreck at the groomers getting a bath! This corgi is great at the groomers.
