Been watching you guys the past couple weeks and you have great passion for your program and it makes for good content. As a Duck, was fun to see you guys whip the Huskies. I’m hoping for Penn State to make the B10 game or for an Oregon vs PSU matchup in the playoffs. Been so cool to play some of the most storied programs in the same season.
Penn St showed me something last night. As much as Lion fans seemed to think it's the same old, same old after last week, this group looks a little different to me. From the outside looking in, last week might just bring out the best in them. I'm hoping anyway. Always been a fan. Even after they joined the conference and declared my Buckeye's as their hated rival lol. Probably my second favorite team. I'm wondering how many Penn St fans would say that about Ohio St. Hahaha. I'll wait......😊
I actually agree 👍!!! As a die hard Nittany Lions 🦁 fan, I was upset after the Buckeyes game, but I believe lesson learned, literally!!! WE ARE, going 11-1 and win out and playoffs dangerous team!!!
It was definitely frustrating losing to Ohio State again last week. What is even more frustrating is the national media acting like Penn State don’t deserve to be in the top ten. It’s ridiculous! Since when did they start counting a past record for a current top ten ranking. Maybe they are not a top 5 but I would argue that they do make the top 10. Yes, even losing to Ohio State for the last 7 years or whatever. Thanks for the show folks!
Good conversation about Franklin getting booed. Here is my take on the situation, and I'm sure some may disagree. First, it isn't that hard to come in and be wildly popular and loved as he HC at Penn State. Paterno had his critics, especially toward the end of his career, but he was loved. O'Brien was loved during his short time here. I believe they had one key element that Franklin does not. They made the fans feel as though they were part of the "fight". Franklin wants the fans to be there on Saturdays and pack the stadium, he wants them to be loud, he wants them to donate to the NIL but that is where it ends. He very much makes it clear there is a distance between the fans and the team. It feels like it's a be seen but not heard approach. Give us your money but keep your opinions to yourself. Well, most people do not react well to that. He hasn't gone out of his way to try to endear himself to the fans and, perhaps, that shouldn't be part of his job. However, when you don't endear yourself to the fans, you talk a massive game when you first arrive and you never deliver fans are going to be upset and boo you. You can get away with that attitude if you're winning titles but when you cannot ever win the big game, you do not receive that grace. Him putting last week behind him and celebrating the win with the fans who were cheering him at the end would have gone a long way, but he again chose another path and his relationship with the fans will remain unchanged.
It's funny how football commentators say Penn State "fixed" things, as if Andy K rediscovered his play-calling magic. As if the opposing team doesn't matter. The only thing that got fixed is that they weren't scheduled to play Ohio State. Plays that don't work against Ohio State (and Coach K doesn't even bother calling then because he knows they won't work) will work against other teams. Just about anything worked against Washington because they don't even have a major-college Oline and Dline right now. Purdue might actually be a little bit better.
franklin gets booed in introductions pretty consistently over last few years. Especially before and after big game loses. They were missing winston, 1/4 dennis-sutton, and part 1/2 Donkou for OSU. Any chance we get all 3 healthy back for playoff.
Maybe people should appreciate Franklin more than they think. I hear the same thing about Day. But I also understand the frustration of losing to your rival. At least in the recent past. It can be brutal. I'm now grateful nobody important took my advice and whacked Day 2 years ago when those cheaters beat us in Columbus 😊
@bcanonica Nittany nation has to realize as well, if you do your research, the Buckeyes are the Winningest program in the last 50 years wins wise, so I get frustrated as well, but obviously it isn't easy to beat them, literally!!!! WE ARE, you have to support our Nittany Lions 🦁, and playoffs dangerous team and anything can happen!!! Thanks
As a Penn State fan, I’m proud of the team, and disappointed in the fan base.

I think PSU should have a BLUE NOON! And a White Night!
@@dengold2009 how about a blue moon 🌙?
Audrey is right: Less themes. The white out is special. And, yes, the white out should have been the Ohio State game.
I really hope Jon asks Jedd Fisch why his Team “didn’t care enough to win!” 😂😂😂.
