Gay men shouldn't have to be relegated to pathos and darkness in films that discuss their lives. It's important to make light-hearted comedy about them as well.

about that question, well, people in India support neither gays or lesbians... but being an observant gay in India, I think that perspectives are changing since last year's SC ruling. people did not hate ELKDTAL, in fact, the movie was adored by many, the only problem was Sonam Kapoor and tricky marketing. and people here are influenced by media in a lot of ways...so as far as I can make out of it, upcoming movies like this and dostana 2 will receive positive remarks from all...especially the younger generation. yea, older generation kinda rolls with it...at least people I know do.

Cause culture has a long term impact on a person. It will take time but eventually it will surely happen. It will have to be collective efforts and action and not just putting in front of them, it will have to be respectfully done, force should also be involved but the movement shouldn't give the opposition a right to criticise it, it should be clean in my opinion

I think this role is very difficult for jitu not only because of the characters complexity but also because in most of tvf he has been playing himself. Looking forward to this one
In India, its not about people being more supportive towards lesbians and gays but its more about lgbt as a whole....so when it comes to your identity....yes there are places and states where if you come out as an lgbt or even as a straight person having love affair your family will commit honour killing....but at the same time there are places where you can come out and live a very normal life....so its more about how strong and firm you are about yourself and your identity because at the end you haven't done anything wrong so just be strong 💪😎
Just a interesting thing that happened I want to mention. I was at a pub meeting friends. At the 1st level where there was the dance floor, there was a private gay party going on. And there were at least 100 men going in that area. I thought to myself is this going to be acceptable communally. And just one day after this trailer released. This gives me hope.

Just a interesting thing that happened I want to mention. I was at a pub meeting friends. At the 1st level where there was the dance floor, there was a private gay party going on. And there were at least 100 men going in that area. I thought to myself is this going to be acceptable communally. And just one day after this trailer released. This gives me hope.
