    I'm not Criticizing your work by all mean it's a beautiful Top Tank N I love making different Tank Tops Becuz I live in FL it always HOT. I just wanted to ask a few Questions I do ask other Channel's too,Where they could've done it easier or I see something that I wanted to ask. I like how you did your Foundation Chain Nice A lot Ppl should be using this Method its Way faster then doing Chains then SC,HDC,DC Nicely done.👍
    Most people Crochet Tank Tops,Blouses or Sweaters in the Round. So it's easier some don't make two sides the front N the back side if they're Identical like you did here. Why do you feel the need to do that?
    When clean up the Tank Top with Single Crochet,Why didn't you just Single Crochet all the way around to the other armpit? Why did you do it in 3Sections?
    I think it's Unnecessary work N A LOT of hiding more of your ends? I ask because I'm try to understand Why some Crocheters do it the way it is in there Video's. I'm going to make your Tank Top no matter how you did becuz it's a beautiful Top. Thank you for the Tutorial. Take Care N Stay 🤍🤍🤍

  • @deannarandol7642
    @deannarandol7642 3 года назад +1

    You said in the video to add 16 more rows for full length but the written instructions say add 12, I'm just a bit confused on how many to add . This top is fantastic!!!

    • @TheTurtleTrunk
      @TheTurtleTrunk  3 года назад +3

      Sorry about that! It is 12 not 16! I'm not sure why I said 16 (oops). Although you can customize it and work as many rows as you'd like, but I should have said 12. Thank you for pointing that out and I'm glad you're enjoying the pattern!

    For Large size how much stiches should i take in foundation chain?

  • @chl6764
    @chl6764 3 года назад +1

    My yarn is thinner than yours. Like I need to use 2.5 to 3mm hook for my yarns. Are the number of stiches would be the same or should I add?

    • @TheTurtleTrunk
      @TheTurtleTrunk  3 года назад +3

      You will definitely need to either add stitches, or make a size 2-3 larger than your normal size. If you're adding stitches be sure to have an odd number of stitches across. You can also try using double strands of yarn to get it to match the gauge.

  • @loril.hening9596
    @loril.hening9596 2 года назад +3

    This might sound crazy, but I can't seem to figure out the foundation chain like you have done it, so I just chained 48 then did my single crochet the rest of the way so I still have 47. I am now confused about which is the right and wrong side and what steps I need to follow. Can you help? Thank you!

    • @TheTurtleTrunk
      @TheTurtleTrunk  2 года назад +5

      Hi Lori! You can absolutely start your tank with a regular chain like you've done. Your row of single crochets worked into the chain would count as Row 1 so that would be the right side (your tail end from where you started the foundation chain will be on left when the right side is facing up). Hope that helps!

    • @TheTurtleTrunk

      I started with the 9mm crochet hook! The 6mm hook will be used at the end of the pattern for the border around the neck line and arm holes.

    • @TheTurtleTrunk
      @TheTurtleTrunk  2 месяца назад +1

      Hi! Sorry about the link, I have updated it: amzn.to/3X5zbyF. I used Circulo cotton yarn but you can use another worsted weight cotton if you'd like. And the number of skeins needed will depend on the size you're making but most sizes will need between 2-3 skeins of the circle yarn. Hope this helps!

      You'll need between 150 grams - 357 grams depending on the size you're making. I used about 164 grams for the size Small.
