"Can't believe its not butter! "
    What a perfect opening!!!!!
As a person who deals with depression -- you guys talking about these things -- it helps to hear.

NB has a solid podcast. He's witty and very candid. If he can get along with Seinfeld, he can get along with anyone. Turns out that David Cross might be the worst. Fan of DC but his podcast can get annoying real quick.

I really like all three of these guys; this is one of my favorite episodes. Just an additional word of caution; the drugs Neal talks about are not to be toyed with. Yes, there are reports ayahuasca has been affective in treating depression and other mental health issues; but there are decades worth of cases in which people had very dangerous reactions to psychedelics. A friend had a bad experience he never recovered from. His elderly parents had to care for him until he took his own life.

According to Wikipedia, the Brennan family moved to Wilmette, Illinois [from Pennsylvania] in 1978.
Rainn Wilson lived in Wilmette during high school [the Bahá'í National Center is there, near the northern border of Evanston, on Lake Michigan].
The Murray family lived in Wilmette. I wonder if any of Neal's many older siblings knew Joel or any of the Murray siblings.

Great episode as always, love you guys Dana and David. Recently discovered Neal on his podcast with Trevor Noah recently which was an incredibly rich insight into mental health, racism and more. DMT + psilocybin assisted therapy is the way of the future. Not a magic pill / panacea, but extremely helpful for a range of mental health and neurological challenges. Thanks for sharing in the hope we can normalize alternative practices to help people live happier lives.
As others have commented, these are not recreational ‘drugs’. These are plant medicines proven to have positive impact if taken in the right setting with the right support before, during and after. Amazing to hear Neal and Chris Rock benefited so much.

I would recommend MDMA for Dana & David but keep in mind it can be a very emotional experience, especially for men. Like Neal says it can open your heart in a different way. Grief can be something that bubbles up, regardless of how long ago it occurred. It’s a good 👍 experience.
From there; the other options are up to you. MDMA can be a lot of fun. Whatever sadness you feel initially, wears off. Some guys don’t like to cry so that is a freak out. Be cool with tearing up. Women cry all the time so MDMA is a different experience.

Not sure what unsavory, or hilarious, joke Neal was going to tell on air. It's indicative and it doesn't mean it's right or wrong that society has changed a bit. Or maybe more so that Dana and David are known for being classy on air, and I assumed offtoo I guess I could think of dark jokes but it's better that I just give a PSA now as the summer months are approaching. Be extra careful with children around pools or the ocean. A baby can drown in as little as two inches of water. But you have to hold their head just right

Hey I wasn't trying to be insensitive because I know Dave used to hang with Tommy Lee a lot maybe, nuff said.l on that. I had read on IG that David had dated Heather Locklear before Tommy did so it was kind of a frenemy rival thing. Word was Spade is hung like a black guy, in a small town where white guys rape a lot of white women. So when Heather first saw Tommy before they're going to do it she infamously said " Is that all you got? ". I hate when guys like Spade spoil it for the rest of us
