Thou Deboshed Fish

For anyone having trouble with this quest:
1. It MUST be done in an active hotspot. An active hotspot has TWO things: a) A small white foamy puddle of splashes, and b) jumping fish. If you don’t see fish jumping the hotspot is dead.
2. This can be ANY active hotspot. Example _Fisherman’s Hovel_
3. You DON’T need to use bait but it helps.
4. If your bobber lands an active spot You’ll see the words _Landed on hitspot_ in green text.
5. You DON’T need to stand in water but it may help your casts so the bobber lands in a hotspot.
6. Jumping fish WILL respawn at a dead hotspot. No idea how long this takes. Others have said 30 mins per star.

Im confused everytime i catch somethings it still says 0 out of 3 caught

You need to catch the 3 items from the active hotspot. You know it is active when you see fish jumping out of water. Maybe it resets because you didn't catch 3 while it was active. If you catch 3 while it is active and it still resets, then it is better to reset the quest.

@@donttrip9228 Did you try resetting the quest? You can do that by going to Journals from the main menu, and next to the quest you can click "Abandon" to reset the quest.
