Hi, i cant seem to activate the quest though. Im level 60 on ps
do u get any errors? or it just wont load the quest?

Thank you, this quests was piss'n me off and it's such a simple reason why it doesn't work that it's also dumb
Quest is bugged for me, I've caught like 20 fish over 30lbs in that exact spot and it doesn't count.
Try the below if it didnt work try resetting the quest. Sometimes it help: 1. It MUST be done in an active hotspot. An active hotspot has TWO things: a) A small white foamy puddle of splashes, and b) jumping fish. If you don’t see fish jumping the hotspot is dead. 2. This can be ANY active hotspot. 3. You DON’T need to use bait but it helps. 4. If your bobber lands an active spot, you’ll see the words "Landed on hotspot" in green text.

Even though this was before the update. But still with the latest update you should be able to loot 2 elite chests
@@MoeAbdrabou I searched everwhere possible, but there were no elite chests to be found. Ah well, perhaps on another characer I'm levelling 🙂

So far this has been the most annoying quest line I’ve ever followed in a game seems I have to catch fish for no damn reason and all I want to do is get this damn quest off my screen thanks for the help
Totally agree! This quest has been such a grind for no real payoff. I just wanted to clear it from my quest log too :) Enjoy the game, the end game content is really amazing.

No secret, I just used the Firefly bait and always landed on hotspot. If your bobber lands an active spot, you’ll see the words "Landed on hotspot" in green text. An active hotspot has TWO things: a) A small white foamy puddle of splashes, and b) jumping fish. If you don’t see fish jumping the hotspot is dead.

If your bobber lands an active spot You’ll see the words _Landed on hitspot_ in green text. 5. You DON’T need to stand in water but it may help your casts so the bobber lands in a hotspot. 6. Jumping fish WILL respawn at a dead hotspot. No idea how long this takes. Others have said 30 mins per star. Good luck!

Does this include "scourge of Aeon Madness" MSQ? (The second BS MSQ) How many are there after that? I think the quests in NW are painfully boring
@@jmecha2169 Nope, just those I mentioned in the description. Once you complete them you will unlock it.
How did you unlock this quest?
You must complete all the main story quests in Brimstone Sands, then it will be unlocked.

Im confused everytime i catch somethings it still says 0 out of 3 caught
You need to catch the 3 items from the active hotspot. You know it is active when you see fish jumping out of water. Maybe it resets because you didn't catch 3 while it was active. If you catch 3 while it is active and it still resets, then it is better to reset the quest.

@@donttrip9228 Did you try resetting the quest? You can do that by going to Journals from the main menu, and next to the quest you can click "Abandon" to reset the quest.
