Once again you have done a excellent job and interesting that there were two cars with one having a trailer with it and the first building is pretty much the one I observed and videoed from the Bruce Trail,. The building looked intact but shows definite damage from years of neglect. Thanks for the different perspective of the property Jeff.

Two cars, one with a trailer, that looks like landscaping. That could (possibly) be a contractor. Good footage : ) Wonder if they kept the buildings in shape or are they desintegrating slowly.

You are exactly correct! Her and her husband were the caretakers for the property for many years. They were eventually reposted elsewhere and the property was left to further decay. In the explorers video you can see them going through some of my sister's personal items from when they were there that they left behind. Great video Jeff!
@@blownforgood Interesting. I was there in 2012 and it looks the same to this day. There are people posted there now and according to one SO member they are renovating it now. (allegedly)
Ugh, what a waste. And very close to my neck of the woods.... but hey at least they have to throw money down the drain and pay property tax on an abandoned building in Canada as they don't have tax exempt status here.

A really great job getting that drone footage for us all to see. It's so sad that this property couldn't be in someone else's hands, so it could actually be used and enjoyed by the public.

Even though Sciento are doing nothing with the property, do they still have to pay property taxes on the buildings as they dont have tax exempt status in Canada? Thx for the video Jeff, great footage.
In some areas they have partial property tax exemption and some full but they aren't considered a charitable organization in Canada like in the US.

They are maintaining it but nothing else is really happening there. The two cars will be sea org members there to secure the property and to do maintenance most likely.

It's a Tax Haven. Which Canadanian dept do ppl need to notify to tell them they bought this for 'religious' reasons but aren't producing it. Do they get exemptions like the in the US?? Ooooooo
