Hello Chris. My name is Eugene and I am from Russia. I'm on your channel recently. and I want to say thanks. not so much for training, but for different videos where you show street magic. Every time I watch these videos, I take maps and go to the city center and show people the tricks. I believe that you are my main motivator so that I go out and develop in magic. THANKS!!!!
As a musician I find if I'm not playing I'm bored. As a result I learnt a how to solve 2x2, 3x3, 4x4 and 5x5 rubik's cube so I had something else and once you've learnt it it's done. I stumbled upon your channel by happenstance and had a deck of cards near by. I've followed your work for 3 years and it's awesome. Love the content, in regards to your new office you've proven time and time again why you earnt that. Guess what time trying to say is thanks for inspiring me.
This is my first sleight I learned by you suggesting Daniel Madison I can do everything but the catch but my hands are huge and dexterous, your explanation helped me understand the mechanics, Fanx!
Same here. I pick up the cards after seeing Chris do some sleight of hand moves thinking that it doesn't look to hard to do and 5 minutes later I put the cards down from frustration lol. He makes a lot of the stuff look easy til I try to do it. But always love the vids.
I will never forget my excitement when I purchased some years before!!! Today I believe I can perform it good enough to fool myself! Thank for been here man!
My favorite thing about card magic is that I can be just as amazed with a trick even if I know how it's done. The execution alone is magic. Fantastic trick.
Dude you are insane. My fingers dont even move that way. I've always wanted to to slight of hand but I have arthritis in both hands and so many of the palming slight of hands hurt like crazy. But I love to watch you. You are truly Magic.
Chris I want to thank you and also curse at you. With this lockdown I've found your channel and love it. I'm going to try to learn sleight of hand. The reason I want to curse at you is because I have 12 different decks ordered and I never expected to spend that much on cards. Thanks for doing what you're doing.
It was a bit that I was looking (just for fun) for a one handed no deck colour change where I can show the front and the back of the "card" (not like the shake change) at the beginning and also at the end (so, not like the snap change). Now I found it! The funny thing is that the way I was thinking that was completely different and absolutely less exposed! That's amazing, good job Chris! (Sorry for my bad English, I'm Italian...)
Wow. I haven't had a move make my hand feel the burn like that in awhile. I like it, I'm always hunting for techniques or effect that involve very few cards. I will definitely be practicing this a bit, and making use of it in routine. I can see a small story being told with just a few cards. Thanks a million Chris.
Dozen people on the planet? Right when I heard that I started only practicing this move... and FINALLY. After 3 full months of doing this daily to the point of my hands cramping and being sore as Fu$@... I can do it clean. Beauty tutorial my guy. Much love and thank you for this brilliant move! 🙏🌌🌌🌌🤙
Clean cut Mr respectable Chris Ramsey 6 years ago. I much prefer the Chris today I must say! You looked like a young man, you have grown up heaps since then in more ways than age. Your presentation is so much better and more relaxed. RUclips has been amazing for you!
I would respectfully disagree with you on this. I have been at a phase of magic like this, and I have known many people in this phase. I once got so wrapped up in finding harder and harder moves and always pining over new sleights that I forgot about the audience. Sure the sleights are cool, and learning how to use them in the right contexts and in the right ways, the magic is amazing, but thinking about the sleights themselves as the magic takes away from the fact that the magic happens in the minds of the spectator. If we think too much and put too much weight on the moves, then we forget about the performance aspect and all the things that are often way more important than difficult methods. As much as it annoys me, I have gotten better reactions from the easier effects that have a greater impact than really difficult tricks that don't affect the audience as much. Sorry to rant, but I think discourse in magic is important, and it's hard to have those conversations in these times. I'd love to hear your thoughts and arguments.
Anthony Langdon I feel that the art of magic and the good magic that is performed are two different things. I can still perform the Ambitious Card Routine and blow people away, but it doesn't satisfy me as an artist since it isn't something that feeds my soul. It's an existing routine where the maximum I can do is a new patter (but over the years with so many ACR reboots, even that has become difficult to do) for the routine. However this slipshift satisfies me as both, an artist and a magician who'll perform. Yes, it looks as if he did something with his hands, but even real magic has to be performed with hands, so... I think the best magic happens when we balance out the 'Art' of magic and the 'Practicality and Performing chops' of the same.
cheers man, I'm only a couple months into playing around with cards so this will take some time to get up to. Just wanted to say I also remove dust jackets but save most of them in another bookshelf :D Looking forward to checking out the channel. peace!
Thanks for the content i have commenced looking at card tricks. I have learned about 5 magic tricks through you and being bored during this pandemic has given me a new skill/interest. Thanks.
Sick man. My daughter and I really love watching your stuff Chris. Great bonding time. you definitely inspire her 7 yr old mind (and mine for that matter).
This is so cool, I was able to learn it after a couple hours of practice with no sleight of hand experience.. Just can't do it fast enough to fool anyone without covering the transition with my hand
His the one who slowed the internet theb got the Unoffical Word Record for Shuffling Cards for 24hours straight with 13minutes delay And i just wonder how many deck that he got wet....?
On a scale of 1 to 10 the moves are definitely a 12...!!! Perseverance, Patience, Practice (the 3 P’s) along with development of dexterity, muscle memory and showmanship (DMMS) Magically captivate and create a moment of wonderful awe
thanks for you and buddies hardwork, Chris. your videos entertain us so much (even as a guy who doesn't do magic, you are super-entertaining). danke schön 🧐

It's a cool sleight of hand trick, Chris
Hello there mister everywhere
I swear i find your comments literally everywhere
Can I mention how precious baby Chris is? Of course now he’s an absolute treasure 🤘
This is my first sleight I learned by you suggesting Daniel Madison I can do everything but the catch but my hands are huge and dexterous, your explanation helped me understand the mechanics, Fanx!
such a good video!
Oh hello
One of the few people here who actually BOUGHT this tutorial on D&D 6 years ago. Still a gem and still hard as hell. Thanks Chris.

Awesome to see some of my favorite creators sharing. Daniel Madison teaches his handling while criss shares an amazing color change. Just awesome

That was amazing! The harder the trick the more rewarding it is when you get them. Thank you.

What type of card did you use? A papercard or the plasticcard.. idea?? Anyone? 😅🤣
@@shoj9058 they are paper cards dude. Plastic ones are ok but I would recommend paper. They are more slippy so moving the cards are a lot easier
Thanks for the idea dude...
Literally one of the best and most amazing color changes made
Damn chris the beard game from 6yrs ago till now. Different dude

I'm so glad to see you teaching again!!! The puzzles are cool, but your tutorials on magic tricks and slight of hand.
Thanks Chris. I've definitely needed something new to work on to keep from going stir crazy from being stuck at home.
I've found that how magic works. The sleight of hand, is the real magic. And is my favorite part.

And I’ve been looking forward to this for about 6 years. 😉

Those moves are so clean!!
I'm working on this alright now. I got the initial shift without an issue. My main struggle is in the square up. But I will get it!
How Chris was going through the steps reminds me of a Yoga instructor. Guiding you through the vinyasa.
Thanks for the fresh material, Chris! Love your channel! Sweet move.
This is absolutely sick, man. It definitely will take a lot of practice, but it will be worth it! Thank you so much for sharing ❤
