Benzino was horrible as a rapper and delusional for his work with the source magazines. his reviews of rap albums back in the day were biased as hell! Then he actually had the audacity to give himself 5 mics for one of his own albums. This man is a CERTIFIED CLOWN!
Honestly I don't even consider him a rapper his album redemption sold 20,000 copies in his first week 😂😂😂

Let's just quickly break down what eminem has done for the culture:💯
#1 he put DETROIT on the map!(a predominantly BLACK city) Prior to him detroit was not buzzing like that💯
#2 he put on his homeboyz from Detroit: brought Royce 59 into the industry with him, D12, Obie Trice, Trick Trick etc. Put 50 cent and G-Unit on. All black artists from the culture.
#3 he brought in an audience that didn't even know what HIP HOP was globally! A good percentage of his fans are NOT white by the way and are from places like Africa, India, South America etc.
#4 He continued to put on black artists from the culture: Cashis, Status Quo, Slaughterhouse, Grizelda, West side boogie, Grip etc.
5. When given the opportunity he uses his platform to BIG UP AND SUPPORT the culture. PRIME example the 2017 BET cypher where he even went against some of his fans and lost over 1/3 of them💯
I mean the list goes ON AND ON!💯 And I similarly to @StevieKnight never grew up on eminem and viewed him in a particular negative way. However after actually researching him and actually LISTENING to his music with zero BIAS its extremely hard to say he is not top 5 LYRICALLY!🤷♂️(in my opinion there should be 2 sub genres within hip hop LYRICISM and RAP). He is definitely ONE of the goats💯🙏
