I’m a diehard V8 guy but man these CT4 black wings and CT5 V are beautiful and I think sound pretty good. I would happily buy one and daily. Of course we would all love the CT5 blackwing or even Escalade V but dealers and pricks are putting the price of them way out of the average joes price range unfortunately.
Just give it a year. Interest rates are high and nobody can afford to pay cash for those sky high markups. Things will normalize just like the housing market already is.
not true my dealer is priced fairly good for ct4 v. still just out of my budget but I hope the 2024/2025 model looks nice and is just as small my lease is up then and i’m definitely buy a ct4

Some people don’t get a cel for the muffler delete but because I removed my valves, I gotten the cel and for my tips I went with the 4inch chrome quads
How much louder is it in person? In the drive by videos towards towards the end it sounds similar to stock kind of except for the pops. Maybe because the valves?
Unfortunately the valves have to be removed when getting a muffler delete.. in person there def is a difference with the sound it’s much louder but not obnoxious nor annoying.. has the perfect idle if you want I’ll be more than happy to post a shorts of the idle

At first there was a difference but once you get used to it it does sound like the stock exhaust.. I will be getting dp very soon because now I’m bored haha
Please tell me detail on this, did you have to cut anything? I am considering the tapout downpipes but would rather do this if I don't have to damage the stock system.
Unfortunately the valves will have to be removed with the muffler delete also being that your tips are attached to your muffled you will have to install additional quad tips !… I am also considering going with the Catless dp from tapout tuning
I’m avoiding the tapout DPs because you have to bend the transmission cooling lines for clearance and my usual installer/tuner just is not cool with that due to unknown impact over time

The CT5V Blackwing is a 6.2L V8, this car is a 6 cylinder

That V6 is actually very nice sounding. Not like most that sound raspy and like a trumpet.
Sounds amazing stock to me.
Sounds good w/ the muffler delete & I like those round the exhaust tips better than the factory setup too.
These are monsters. I drive the 4 cylinder ct4 right now and its even pretty quick. Definitely plan to get a blackwing next.

It comes that way from the factory. Most dedicated sports cars now have pops and bangs. Look up the Hyundai Elantra N.
