To be honest I was scared of her appearance,but after this and some research i'm actually shocked at how down-to-earth and Islamic she is.This woman is incredibly nice.Also,she has helped my disabled mother on an aeroplane.My father was holding me in one hand(as I was a few months old at the time)xand giving my mother a hand with his other free hand.She actually stepped in despite the fact that all the passengers had left and her secretary told her to stay away.My father said she came and not only helped my mother stand,but also encouraged her.I owe her one personally.

Just..damn. that story about Abida parveen hugging the lady who was about to die and .. and the way Abida Parveen was hesitant to share that story as if it was soo personal and close to her heart that she felt the need to keep it private.. If it were any other artist they would have boasted about it on every chance they would have gotten. I haven't seen a more true and authentic artist than her. She's a rare gem.
