Amazing that only two days ago I downloaded the Merlin app and at 11.30 last night I was out in our garden listening to the tawny owl!! I am so pleased that you are feeling well enough to give us a lovely update on what you have been getting up to...thank you for that. If you are able to use a sewing machine could you not get some curtains from a charity shop and cut them up. The curtains we had in our narrow boat didn't have the tape and hooks on just turned at the top and the stretchy wire through the channel. Just a thought....fabric can be so expensive 😮. Glad all the animals are doing well. Kayleigh looks really well for her age but it's worrying and upsetting when our pets are under the weather. We still miss our little Bella so much. Last week I noticed quite a big strand of hay in one of my ponies eyes which was runny and swollen. I called the vet out as I didn't want it to cause damage. All good now phew. Thanks for the book recommendations I will look out for the Ben Fogle one. Sorry to prattle on 😂 Keep up the good work and take care ❤

Hi Roo, your bird song program sounds like fun. It's hot and humid here currently, and my squash is finally starting to come in. If it stays hot much more, I will need to go swimming at a local lake to cool off. I've been enjoying Asian Soap Operas, the historical romance ones, on RUclips as part of my summer fun.

Hey Roo lovely update! I was thinking if you have wrapping paper you could make cardboard cutouts for the windows and wrap them up to make them look nicer. They should also block out the light a bit better. Great news about your health, the care plan and return to work plan. Take care and have a fabulous week!
That's a good idea as a temporary fix, thank you, though at the moment I'm using every last scap of card to cover the veg beds! 😂 I hope all's good with you xx
@@Roo-s_Life In my local supermarket in the water bottle isle, they have sheets of cardboard in between the layers or bottles on the pallet. Might be worth asking them as they just tend to put them in the recycling. xx
