They don’t actually lend us anything - all bank loans and mortgages aren’t actually money - then just type figures into a spreadsheet and they’ve ‘created’ the money. They then suck out real money from the real economy where we all live into bank profits. Every single penny you ‘pay back’ is bank profit. It’s fairy land for them. They could, quite literally, tell everyone to forget about all the rest of the repayments in every loan and mortgage and the banks would still be ahead.

Why did we GIVE all that money to the banks? Why did we not LEND it to them as they do us?
