The Class 707 City Beam are very nice and smart. I do think that Southeastern will look after them when the rest of the Class 707s have been transferred from South Western Railway.
OK. They have air conditioning and sockets, but the Fainsa seats are so dreadfully uncomfortable. Transport for Wales inherited similar uncomfortable seats on their new class 197 fleet, but decided the seats were unfit for service and have spent just under £2m replacing them with more suitable seats.
@Boogies Trains I've had the misfortune of being parked on a double deck set on the continent. I agree with you. But the 707's are really uncomfortable.
@@CopenhagenRailProductions Twitter's got it all wrong lol. Why City Meme, doesn't make any sence where as City Ning thanks to Yawwie, wow you can't beat that, City Ning wins it for me 😂😆

Great video Mr Boogie. Wouldn't want to go too far on one of these cos I guess the seats are on the hard side🤔💖🤓
No toilets either but acceptable for the inner suburban routes.

Did they eliminate Disabled Access to these new trains? A scooter-bound rider would have a bloody fit trying to board one!
Lewisham is a nightmare for able bodied people as the gap is huge. I think disabled passengers can book assistance. There are usually ramps available.

The seats are better than the plastic bucket style I have come across on double deck services on the Continent.

Don't they make an atrocious awful racket??? They sound like a fire alarm going off!! Or an early Björk record.
The Siemens units all sound similar.
