It's extremely hard to draw that pov with the nose. Normally, what you see is a combination of the images from both your eyes. Having your nose just in the middle and so close, you get two separate pictures of a blurry thing that sometimes appears on the sides, in the middle or double depending on your eyes position. Cool concept, yes, but a pain to put into a drawing.

Your toes are naturally splayed out, not touching, they only do because majority of people wear shoes, which pushes your toes together, and over time, they touch each other even without a shoe on since wearing shoes is pretty much a daily thing so they never get a chance to start being splayed again.
