I like Dachshunds !
The English dude is cool but I still think that your broken German English makes the vedio more authentic
Right we need his voice back
Agree...I love when he gets some words slightly wrong. You still know what he means but it's adorable.
Yep
I was here for the special language!
Same.
I am so deeply thankful and appreciated that you have a English speaking version. :) I know it takes a lot f effort to put this out. Thank all who help you produce the video.
Haha, You are welcome!
Germans sure prefer german :-). Not like Sweden where you take for granted that it all would be english. But on the other hand, it has been really good to follow your german episodes. The old "school-german" needs some refreshment :-) Thank you for great content
Hope you're not racist though, are ya?
100 million Europeans speak German as their mother tongue.
I myself read English, German and Swedish at school. I also studied Greece because there are so many loanwords from there. Alphabet, alphabet ...
it is just general education.
Finnish is my native language.
I realize it's kind of off topic but do anybody know a good place to watch new movies online ?
For a small machine shop, and it's prototyping, that's as good as it gets. I've been doing the same work for over 40 years and can honestly say I've seen it all, from Fred in the shed to Cosworth and illmor
The dedication and the skill set you guys acquired is impressive.
I've been waiting for an english video and you didn't disappoint me
can't wait for part 3
Where is Part 3?
Did you find part 3
Very~very awesome work, been a machinist since 1964 that ran shops for nearly 30 years and your work is simply amazing. Yes Good Knowledge as well as great machinery combined are the greatest tools, but the person with all of those tools is the main reason this video shows how they all work together. Much appreciated video.

Andi: Hold my measuring Stick!
I think I spider..Andy where’s your Denglish hin?
I believe my pig whistles! x'D
My lovely mr singers club
It was highest railroad for that
you don't have all the slats on the fence anymore 🤣
5:08 The fact that you have Lambo block just for practice is pure swag.
I've done a lot of "O" ring work, and I've found that turning down the rpm on the machine greatly reduces chatter and broken cutters.
2:55 Dachshund in action 😂. Best regards from Polska/Germany... Łukasz
I like your actual voice over the english voice over. Adds character
Professional. The sound of multip toolings.
Amazing work and content for us !! So much better than I have ever seen at tv. Thank you!
thanks for the english voice over . Really appreciated!!! amazing work
Amazing Build!!! At 13:12 in your video, I think I'm wrong but it looks like a vertical crack in that cylinder's wall 😳
does look like a crack
I noticed that.
pretty sure they know what they do
it's just a track from the bore gauge
Thank you so much for the English voice over.
My German is quite poor and the auto translation is not much better than my translation.

Also ordentliche Grammatik.
@@SubiPerformance I'm an Ami and I prefer your OF voice. It's authentic. I think what is a bit schade is that the translation isn't 100%. A few things weren't included in the translation from German to English. If you're going to the effort of translating, then do it all. I think your English has consistently improved over time and the only problem any native speaker would have is just using the proper technical terms for things. Pronunciation not many care about. Well, maybe copper wire rather than cooper wire. ☺️ But otherwise you're completely understandable. Nichts peinlich da! Keine sorge. Also, I think since the voice is obviously not yours, I wonder if you shouldn't just use third person rather than first person.
I thank you with all my heart for the creativity in the field of perfecting the work
You are really doing your job properly. Thank you very much. Good luck. Good work.
Thanks again for the english video.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I really wish Philipp would do an english video occasionally, even a basic voice over to give a quick update on his projects.
This voiceover is 😱
Maximum precision for man and machine.
Thank you for your all the good content and the good things about engines I like alot the ideea of sealing the combustion to cilinder head for high horses and not with head gasket good job
Hello I love your works the Subaru project was beautiful keep up
Bräsischennn!!
Du machst echt nen geilen Job, Andi.
nice VoiceOver Dieter 😅👌
Is that Adrian doing the voiceover?
Haha, yes that is me. I was happy to help Andi out on this project.
@@AdrianBilladeau maybe you could help Philipp do some english videos also, I watch all his limo and lpx content but have to guess what is happening 🙄
@@AdrianBilladeau Great job! 👍
@@twingoman2000 thanks!
Can't wait when corona will end to visit you once more with the hatchback I told you about, to give you try, currently on 1.8 boost 550 WHP! Currently building second STI, closedeck, manley, etc.. Thanks for videos that gives a lot of motivation on my projects. Alex :)
Thankyou for the English voice over I was thinking I going to have to learn german
Good commentary and a dedicated and professional build.
This is super cool ))) All the machinery you have got there.
Wow. Really magnificient! Another build to follow 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Nice video the copper wire is very close to the edge of the cylinder wall.
Excellent work.
Perfect engineering in English👌 keep going guys. 👌💪
Love the dogs 🐕
I like your work. I have a 2008 Honda Accord coupe. I am very hard on it: between 2000rpm and 3000rpm.
It has 109000km. Standard. Sometimes I use the clutch. It’s perfect. Now I’m stuck with it! Oh the hell of a perfect car. Four cylinder v-tec. It drives good too.
Fusion360 Nutzer & CNC machining! :) Großartig! Viele Grüße aus dem Osten!
So precise! Nice work!
world full of love from the Ingush empire friends!
That’s some serious skills and know how on another level 👍
I think your alignment tool should have dropped on down into the sleeve groove area - the first sleeve on each bank could "possibly" rotate once it's past your guide. Lovely work - pleasure to watch!
I will echo the other commenters and say that, while it is nice to have an English voiceover, I much prefer your own authentic commentary. I would rather have subtitles, if no English voice is available. :)
Great video! Very informative and enjoyable.
Also, are you really able to make a perfectly aligned bore with only a level? I know machinist levels are very precise, but I am surprised that you do not also take a vertical stroke with a gauge on the mill to verify the fixture and double-check for runout.
Amazing work guys
Some people giving hard time about english stuff. I'm just happy, that there is english, so I can follow what is happening.
There is little to no market in Germany if it comes to subaru(I know it's not a subaru engine) .. So it's a logical step to put out English videos since his customers are from all over the world :)
@@Asientabs yea obv. I would be one of them if I had little more money.
My your English has gotten much better!!
Thanks so much for the english video.
Great content.
Outstanding work.
Thanks for the video in English.
Love the dogs
Nice, thank you for the English version!
Personally I fully remove the tool bit to clean properly behind it so no swarf can ever get behind it.
Love watching your videos, but can’t find part 3.
very nice vidéo ! i appreciate your effort and your time for us ! thank you , merci beaucoup !
thank you for seeing your great video as with all that equipment in your workplace ive seen you videos a lot and you have spoke uk language previosly but sorry i cant speak german lol
thanks for the tutorial, time to build my own
The machining work alone must have cost thousands of dollars alone. Amazing.
Great content, not to many sharing similar build insight
Great video as usually. Thankful for the English translation. What level of abrasion for the soda media do you use for cleaning? Fine, Medium or Rough?
this was cool af tbh
Man! I want my beerings back! Greetings from south tschörmany ;-)
Might be a silly question... but, @12:30 .... wouldn't you desire to align the new bores to the center line of the crankshaft journals? I realize, these parts are going to be manufactured at a higher spec, then a S.B. Chevy engine.. but, just wondering if it matters to do that on these engines?
Just one word Perfect
Thanks for the English version 👍
That's insane
Interesting - Different strategy to how 5 cyl and V10 specialists do their builds (AMS) ect. They'll sleeve the block using liquid N2 and heating the block for a tighter fit.
I love the use of copper though you need to be super accurate with it... so another small question mark.
Pure art
Espectacular.
You put two sleeves at a time - don't need a tool. When we do blocks like that we use DARTON and 2 different adhesives, one to seal and one to transfer the heat. Nice work, keep it up.
Finde das voice over richtig angenehm.
Awesome video, thank you
I heard it was bad to use loctite “green” on bore sleeves.. non thermal conductive and also makes future removal very tough on presses...
Or do some get retaining compound and some don’t?
Thanks for doing the english version.
Great job 👍
Can I ask why you put the copper wire so close to the hole of the cylinder, and not further out? It looks as if that little material on the inside where combustion will be happening could create a weak spot in the cylinder walls! Would it not be better to put a larger diameter groove and move it outward to have more strength, or is there some other, more important factor in play?
Grüße aus Vancouver 🇨🇦
Beautiful
Excellent work. What drawing program did you use to design the sleeve inserting tool?
Just go for Judd's engine :) Judd/Yamaha produce/mod/upgrade Cosworth/Yamaha and goes into F1 Champion machine .
Even Gordon Murray picks are Judd/Yamaha/Cosworth which take most work off Honda/Suzuki base and mod/upgrade .
IM A FAN Now....
May I ask for information in which area you are in? because I also have an incomplete workshop and am very interested in the tools you use are very professional and clean
Subi Performance is located in Northrhine Westfalia, Germany
Cool video👌
Great English Voice Over, thank you. Question, if taking .001mm by honning how much left from the copper wire to the bore? are you putting in the copper wire before the hone for added structure ( would be interesting if you could not hone the top couple mm of bore since there are no rings ridding that high. Sorry for my ignorance just an IT guy here.
ohoo... waaaaw . how much you invest in your workshop bro ?? I really admire it
I like the new voice! Makes the video so much more enjoyable!!
Hello guys, thank you for English version, and also can i ask some questions? At time 13.06 its looked like a crack or it was just some dust or dirt? Also if you use a cooper wire, on the place where you connect two ends, is there a possibility to create a gap or the wire could burn from temperatures cause pressure leaking? Would it better to be a whole peace of wire or do some kind of "locks"? Also after the hooning of the bore, that wall tickness will be enough to hold a cooper wire when it will be smashed with cilinder head and gasket without breaking? Thank you
I just new in Modern Engine but 10:15 is that hole Okay? what about the water jacket ..? but Awesome btw 👍
YESSS english translation love it
So do you think it's easy to damage a piston ring during installation. I suspect it's explains excessive oil consumption out of the factory.
while watching the last video, i was thinking of a tool to install the sleeves, literally had the exact same thing in mind.
So, the copper wire helps when boost is added or would you do the same for a NA engine?
It additionally to the head gasket seals the block and head at the point of maximum pressure. It's definitely not needed on a NA engine but wouldn't harm either.
This is poetry. Beside that, I like poetry writtem in English ;-)
Top demais seu trabalho
Awesome! English voiceover... Nice addition 🥰
Hallo zusammen, why don't you use torque plate during boring? As I understand, it is designed to do this?
Why is that copper wire needed there???
Great Video!
You said it 2 minutes later LOL (sealing)
Your english is amazing for being german bro!
its not his english.... its a voice over from a native english speaker
