I have the link in the description on how to build my cage. You can add the nesting boxes to the back of the cage as well. Thanks for watching.

Cody, what feed did you use? Same food the whole time? What was the protein content if you know it? Thanks.

Farmers blend livestock feeds non GMO soy
free chicken grower. It's located in clear springs Maryland. I think it's 19 percent protein. Here is the link for more info. www.ernstgrainandlivestock.com/farmer-s-blend-soy-free-chicken-grower

Good job Cody. You probably could've had greater weights if they didn't have the freedom you allowed them. But then they'd have been more labor intensive. They lived well before hitting the frying pan. 👍👍 did they have good breast size ?

Yeah they were a good size. I raised the Cornish cross this year and they were huge. One was 7lbs after 8 weeks. But after raising both I liked the Cornish cross. But I'm going to try the freedom rangers again next year and not let them run around as much. I read that it makes the meat tough and they are pretty tough unless you slow cook them.
