At 2:20, They were actually using this music in their rebranded look of 2008 and they've modified it with less heaviness.

Sure as a Radio 1 listener back then, Newsbeat used an adapted version of this for their bed during bulletins. I have some Mark and Lard shows from that year around that I can check, but I'm positive they did.
Nice stuff, but do you possibly have the short lived "second version" of the clamshell titles from 2006-2007? It's like the first one but a bit "shinier" and was introduced around May 2006 I think.

I’ve never seen the 50 years version before.
In 2004 the BBC showed a short series going over the main news of the last 50 years. Each episode had that title. I think it’s quite clever how the old newsreel mixed to the current. They also released the series on DVD which is where I got it from.

@@vhs_videohomesystem Fun fact! In Russia I love watching BBC WORLD NEWS. It was may of 2021. Then BBC WORLD NEWS worked in Russia, but only English (UK). My friends catch a cringe from me, but I don't understand that. After watching I wanted come to UK, learn and talk in English and work in BBC NEWS! I'm thinking, UK it's a beautiful country. What you think about Russia?
This would look better with the new logo
The new logo is ugly, and Reith literally looks like the default Word font, Calibri. Also, when it's small or in lower quality, it doesn't look good.
