Monday - Cottage pie.
Tuesday - Leftover cottage pie.
Wednesday - Quiche Lorraine, chips and peas.
Thursday - McDonalds; double cheeseburger, chips and Cocoa Cola.
Friday - Fish fingers, mash and beans.
Saturday - Steak, baked potato and beans.
Sunday - Roast lamb, roast potatoes, broccoli and gravy. Raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake for pudding.

Here you go-
Monday-egg white/veggie frittata, sprouted bread w/pear ginger jam
Tuesday-had lunch late, 2 slices of sausage pepper onion pizza, too full for dinner
Wed-some leftover (amazing) prasorizo- a Greek leek "risotto"(no cheese) with a bit of pecorino on top
Thursday-shiitake mushroom chicken veggie stir fry with brown rice and a cheeky scallion pancake
Friday-lighter dinner bc lunch was big. 1/2 svg Prasorizo, wheat demi baguette (2 svgs)
Saturday-the stir fry/brown rice/scallion pancake again
Love your videos. I live amongst Americans, and miss my mums voice, she was still very Scottish.🏴🇺🇸
You’re spot on about cooking your pasta before introducing it to the sauce to be finished.
Love the fact that you've put your dinners on that have gone wrong. A lot of vloggers wouldn't dare. Keep it real.

I am glad I found you. My 87 year old mom misses her homeland (Mom was born in Prestwick and moved to US in the 1960s) so much. It was nice to hear your beautiful accent. Thank you for sharing your kitchen.

Love this time of the week when I get to see what you've had for your teas, I don't mind your burnt quiche at all, I like most things well done apart from any kind of meat. The crustier the better lol. I absolutely love your mince pies/rounds, my mouth waters every time I see them, wouldn't really have them with beans but that's just cos I'm not much of a bean lover. Thanks for all your vids Cheryl, have a great week 😊
The quiche wasn't burnt. It was "blackened Cajun", a popular style of cooking from Louisiana, USA.

Oh my goodness. I made your mince pie yesterday (Saturday) for the first time. 😊 My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. He literally just heated up a leftover piece a few minutes ago! Thank you for the meal ideas. I enjoy your videos across the pond in New York! ❤️
For me, I'd be pouring the baked beans over the jacket potato and then topping with the shredded cheddar and a dollop of sour cream! Yum! Heather xo
I had vegetarians for dinner yesterday and the frozen Mediterranean veggie mix and frozen chopped red onions from tesco were a godsend.....saved me a ton of chopping. I used 4 hags and a bag of quorn mince. Sautéed all together fir a bit, added basil, Italian herbs and tomato puree, simmered on stove for 20 mins then layered it with gluten free pasta and GF white sauce fromm jar as she's coeliac, and layered with mozzarella cheese and topped with mozzarella and mature cheddar mix. Gotta say it turned out lush with a salad plus I made it Friday as I find flavour is much better if made a while in advance.
How did the vegetarians Taste ???😂😂😂😂
@@jollie-bird6460 LOL ah I don't mind the odd meat free day.....the quorn mince was surprisingly tasty but had to add in soy sauce and plenty of herbs. 😋
I love your weekly meal videos. I only discovered you a few weeks ago, but i’ve made several of your recipes now and they’ve all been great.
I must put that chicken curry on the list, that looks yum. So does the mince pie, now that i think about it. 🤤

Funny thing is, I am whole-food-plant-based so I don't eat meat or dairy, but all your meals look wonderful! I just enjoy listening to you and seeing what was for tea this week!🙂

My mom would love the dish with the butter beans in it. She was the only one that would eat them, my dad didn't like them so me and my brother didn't have to either, lol.

Cheryl that was so funny, your human we all make mistakes in the kitchen. Was nice that you showed it. I thought the quiches looked just fine ( trying to hide it with the cheese on top🧀 made me laugh) 😅 your wraps just look perfect, no matter how I do mine they never seem to hold. Yours looked like a meal you get when you eat out. And the Moroccan stew with beans , I really like chick peas & butter beans & couscous so this woukd be 1 for me to try. Lovely meaks meaks as always Cheryl, despite the quiche & the tough pasta 😅
Hi Cheryl loving your recipes like you we love beans I put a tablespoon of H.P. Sauce in mine and it makes them really yummy

They're probably those beef dripping chips from aldi, the ones that we cannot get in the states😢

Lovely meals for the week! Cheryl try the pasta bake again with more liquid to cook the pasta. I usually add half again as much liquid as sauce (I tend to rinse the container and add that) and it comes out right. Enjoy your week!
I added half a jar of water ☺ there was still plenty of liquid in the pasta....probably should have left it in 20 minutes longer 😘

A bit of a mixed week for you, I have never successfully cooked an unboiled boiled pasta in the oven either, it’s akin to chewing on an old sand shoe imo!🤭 Oh bless, all that effort for your wee quiches & they got a bit sun burned in the AF, that’s the downside of the AF, it only takes a couple of minutes to overcook, luckily you caught them just in time to avert disaster, & a wee bit of grated cheese hides a multitude of near misses!😆 Glad they still tasted great & were still enjoyed by the family!😋 Hope you had a lovely meal with your friends today, it’s been a great day here, finally a dry day & some welcome sunshine for a change!

Hi Cheryl! That Moroccan mince looked really good. You know here in the US we don't often have chips if we have rice but my husband and I love a Peruvian dish called Lomo Saltado that is seasoned strips of beef served with rice and chips and it is a match made in heaven!
I remember having butter beans as a kid - might have been the way my mother cooked them - but they were revolting! They came in tins!
Always be kind to your Mum, Arthur! If they came in a tin, she didn't cook them, she just heated them up! Complain to the manufacturers - they may not realise how revolting some folk find them! I never liked them either because they tended to be very bland.
Has anybody else noticed the texture of British Chicken Breasts appears to have changed, they have become tougher and more chewy and stringy, I’ve tried them from lots of different suppliers and find you can only occasionally get a pack that is the ‘right’ texture. I cook them by lots of different methods in numerous recipes, so it’s the Breasts and not me.
You had quite the week, some days it doesn’t pay to turn on the stove. LOL time for take out. 🤭
That was a different week for you, I will definitely try your pie. We don't use the term "mince round" here, usually call it a family pie, I think.
Smashing selection of meals this week. I agree about that pasta bake. I've never had a recipe that called for raw pasta to go into it and I wouldn't think it would end well for me either. Because I can't even make a decent lasagne using those 'no cook' lasagne sheets. So I'll give that a swerve. Thanks for the warning. How do you get your wraps so neat and tightly wrapped? Any chance you can offer us a quick lesson? I'm fed up with my fillings always falling out! 😧
When we makr pasta bake we cook the pasta as usual on the stove top but a minute or so less than usual as it continues to cook in the oven, have never heard of putting raw pasta into the oven
Cheryl,quick question,Mondays meal the wraps,just wondered what chips you use and are they deep fried,air fried or oven cooked because they look amazing. Love your recipes,gives us great ideas as it’s always a problem what to have 😂

I've seen you make the Glasgow rolls - which I will attempt, I was wondering if you do a lot of baking & if so, could you bake a plain loaf?
My niece is down from Clydebank on Thursday with a wee shopping bag for me.
One thing I'll get a taste for is the plain loaf she'll bring me & after it's gone - it will be a while before I get one again.
My mam & dad would appreciate it if I was to bake a loaf as would my sisters.
Hope it's something you will consider.
